A look of shock appeared on his face, and his expression turned extremely ugly. He hadn't expected that he would fall short compared to An Ying.

Seeing his expression, An Ying gave a calm smile.

"This is not your fault, but we must hurry back now," Gu Lan responded.

Their whereabouts had already been exposed, so leaving sooner was the best choice. Whether it was due to future trouble or the Jing Nation's palace, Gu Lan didn't want to deal with either.

An Ying had no choice but to follow Gu Lan. Staying here would be just as dangerous.

The two of them moved swiftly and soon disappeared into the distance.
