Chapter 80: Chapter 79: Hard Work, Comrades
His hand hadn’t even touched Wen Qiao when his wrist tightened, and suddenly someone yanked him forward. His left half was twisted halfway around, followed by a bone-cracking noise at his shoulder, and then came the intense pain that shot straight into his brain.
"I also like people like Mr. Luo, who know how to read the room," said Wen Qiao sarcastically. "It seems you knew I was going to dislocate your arm, so you kindly offered it to me."
Luo Bin was sweating profusely from the pain. "Wen Qiao, let go, please. Let’s talk this out."
"Why don’t you just talk?" Wen Qiao replied. "I can hear you."
As she spoke, Wen Qiao lifted her leg and kicked the back of his knee. With a thud, Luo Bin knelt on one knee.
"I really don’t understand," Wen Qiao continued, indignantly. "You’re already so old, what interest could you have in us innocent girls? Do you think because we’re female artists, we’re easy to bully? Do you even have the energy for that, or the stamina? Just listen to your bones cracking—I could break them with one squeeze. You still dare to try and take advantage of me? Have you already booked a hospital bed?"
"I swear, if I don’t leave you with an unforgettable lesson today, it’d be a complete waste of the more than ten years I’ve spent learning judo!"
Wen Qiao raised her leg again and kicked his other leg, forcing him to kneel on both knees.
As he tried to resist with his other arm, Wen Qiao immediately grabbed it and twisted it, sneering, "If you hadn’t reminded me, I would’ve almost forgotten. It was that arm you used to take advantage of me."
Another crack of bone, and Luo Bin couldn’t help but cry out.
Jiang Yao, who had just reached the door to swipe her card, rushed in upon hearing the cry, "What’s going on here, why do I hear a man...."
Before she could finish, upon seeing Luo Bin with both arms twisted behind his back, kneeling in front of her, Jiang Yao’s mouth fell open in shock. "Oh, my, God."
Hearing her voice, Wen Qiao looked up and innocently said, "I’m just doing a public service here."
Jiang Yao didn’t need Wen Qiao to say more; she could guess what happened. She raised her hand to signal that there was no need for further explanation.
"The real question now is how to get rid of him."
This question was just too perfect.
Wen Qiao herself fell silent for a moment.
Suddenly, another male voice came from inside the room, "Security will be up in a bit. Hand him over to them."
"Holy shit!" Jiang Yao got startled. "Wen Qiao, you had another man hidden in your room?"
That’s when Wen Qiao remembered her fiancé was still there, next to the couch on the small cabinet. She carelessly took a sun-protective garment from the couch, rolled it into a rope and tied up Luo Bin’s wrists, then stuffed a pair of her own socks into his mouth.
Clean socks, of course—the most mercy she could afford Luo Bin.
Jiang Yao opened the door and cautiously peeked out, looking around. She saw two security guards in uniform walking towards her and stopped in front of her. "Miss Jiang, President Fu sent us."
As soon as they finished speaking, the room’s door was flung open, and the security guards saw Wen Qiao dragging Luo Bin out, tied up.
"Thanks for your help, comrades."
The security guards: "...No trouble at all."
Once they’d disposed of him, Wen Qiao rushed back into the room and grabbed her phone, pleading for praise, "How did I do, how did I do? Was I cool just now?"
Fu Jinghen, appearing on the screen, was looking down at something. Glancing up lazily at her after hearing her words, he drawled, "Silly."
Wen Qiao knew exactly what he meant, and playfully stuck out her tongue. "But I still have you, right? You’ve arranged everything for me, haven’t you?"
She was no fool. The moment Fu Jinghen suggested giving Luo Bin to the security, she knew he had planned her way out.
