"You’re dead. Everything connected to you, I will kill them. Everything you love, I will kill them. I will destroy, kill, and slaughter until you are the one begging for mercy. But I... I will never grant you the mercy of death," Drayken said in a chilling, emotionless tone.

It was a voice of absolute authority, unquestionable, final. He wasn’t making a threat. He was stating a future that had already been decided.

"...Y-yeah, right," the voice stammered, trembling. Then, in a panicked rush: "Attack!"

Lasers erupted once more from the sword’s tips, more than before, flooding the sky in a storm.

Drayken scoffed in disdain.
