Early the next morning, Gary Smith woke up!

Refreshing and invigorated, the fatigue from exploring the Secret Realm had been swept away!

Gary Smith turned his head and found that breakfast made by Little Spider was already arranged next to him.

Two golden fried dough sticks, hand-ground sweet soybean milk, as well as a boiled egg.

Nutritionally balanced!

As for Little Spider herself, she was doing chores with spider silk on the one hand, and eating watermelon on the other!

Gary didn’t believe it could be so obvious. So, he proactively asked for more pictures for further research!

However, Evelyn sent back an emoji of a fox sniggering with an added line:

Gary immediately closed the chat window. If she dares to make him beg now, won’t she want him to kiss her foot next time?

More importantly...

Once a woman is satisfied, why would she use better bait to hook him next time?

After turning off the screen of his mobile phone, Gary got ready to leave for the Dark Moon Commerce Guild!

Tiffany Sweet had sent him a message the day before, informing him that some of the items on his shopping list had arrived and could be picked up whenever he was ready. She also mentioned that they had a new process which was far cooler and more impressive.

Even though he was just receiving text messages, Gary could feel Tiffany’s excitement and anticipation!

Gary was very moved, but nevertheless refused!

He had an appointment today, after all!

Because it was not advisable to frequently flicker in and out of the Void within the city, Gary chose to use the Red Rabbit motorcycle which he’d kept in storage for so long. It was well maintained, and the fuel tank was full.

However, as his strength had improved, this motorcycle had started to lag behind. It was only useful as a substitute when moving around the city.

"I wonder if I’ll be able to upgrade it in the Mechanism King’s Domain later...Otherwise, it will just keep collecting dust.."

Gary sighed, climbed onto Red Rabbit. As for Little Spider and Eggy, they were temporarily stored in the Beast Master Space due to their increased size, leaving only Mousie behind.

Mousie’s eyes lit up bit by bit, then, eager to enjoy some private time with its master, it prepared to wear its helmet.

"Sorry, Spider Sister, but this is sure to be a thrill!"

Mousie thought happily, just as it was about to hold on to the hem of Gary’s clothes, Gary popped it into his pocket.

Mousie huddled up in frustration!

Gary didn’t mind, he quickly reached the city streets and was about to speed away...

When he ran into traffic!

"It’s not even rush hour yet, what could have happened?"

Gary took in the sight. There was a checkpoint set up at the entrance to the city in the distance. Numerous officers were armed with something like mechanical eyes that floated in the air and flashed red lights as they conducted check after check.

"What’s all this about so early in the morning!"

The drivers were full of complaints, but once they saw some people showing Special Section ID cards, they held their tongues, honestly accepting the inspection.

Many onlookers gathered to watch, discussing amongst themselves, but as they weren’t sure what had happened, the atmosphere became slightly oppressive.

Fortunately, the inspections were fast. It didn’t take long before Gary’s turn came. He removed his helmet and was immediately recognized by the Special Section, who warmly greeted him and even requested his autograph after inspecting him.

Gary happily agreed, but when he asked what had happened, the officer refused to divulge any details, merely mentioning that it was an order from higher-ups.

And it was issued by the City Alliance of Abyss City!

Gary raised an eyebrow. Could it be that members of the Cult of Evil God had infiltrated the city?

However, he didn’t dwell on it. After leaving the checkpoint, he sped down the clear road and soon arrived at the Dark Moon Commerce Guild.
