His excitement was not because of the Shimmering Spiders’ death, but were stirred due to the sight of something shimmering above the powerful void spirit energy, similar to glistening crystals...

It was a cluster of Void Corals!

Corals were not plants, but vast amounts of microorganisms with petal-like tentacles, similar to corals and cnidarians, that absorbed calcium and carbon dioxide to secrete limestone as a protective shell. Over time, coral accumulated and turned into the form that most people are familiar with.

Void Corals worked the same way, but what they absorbed was different – they devoured a large amount of Void Energy, Space Fragments, and Void Impurities to secrete special substances.

They were at the bottom of the Void ecology, somewhat similar to scavenger animals. Even though they had superior potential with Silver Spirit Power, they would not attack other life forms actively.

It wasn’t because they were tame, but because they lacked enough battle power, making them a top choice for Void Demons’ menu!

After all, in the wilderness, getting injured was akin to death!

A prey that wouldn’t fight back was a good prey!

Fortunately, the Void was vast, making it impossible to form a food chain. The Void Coral insects had ample time to reproduce and grow abundant coral reefs that clustered together, emitting a halo of various colors.

The majority of these colors were purple, and from a distance, they looked like the resplendent Dragon Palace described in myths.

However, what excited Gary was not the Void Coral, but a special creature he spotted weaving through the corals like bullets.

These creatures only stopped for a moment when hunting.

They resembled a combination of a manta ray and a horseshoe crab. Shaped like a flask, their bodies were divided into three parts – the head and chest, abdomen, and tail. The abdomen had six pairs of appendages and their backs bore three longitudinal ridges with a purple shell. They have two pairs of compound eyes on top of their bodies, while their sides had large fins like a manta ray, and their tails were sword-shaped!

These creatures were enveloped by a blackish Void Spirit Power, continuously moving through the Void Coral reefs. Once they found a coral insect hiding there, they quickly caught them with their hoop-like appendages and brought them to their mouths full of sharp teeth.

"Squeak, squeak!"

These thumb-sized insects, with a color similar to the corals, tried desperately to struggle, but were easily bitten. With a little bit of force, their bodies were pierced, chewed, and swallowed up.

During this chewing process, the color of the Void Spirit Power around these special creatures became increasingly dark. Eventually, they secreted a black liquid from their bodies that dripped onto the coral reefs below.

Drip, drip!

Void Coral Reefs and Void Spirit Power underwent a mysterious change, continuously blending and converging, as if nurturing something.

"The legend of the Void Fish is actually true!"

Gary was pleasantly surprised.

According to a legend, after finding an environment with abundant Void Energy, Void Coral insects would reproduce greatly causing the coral reefs to expand rapidly.

During this process, numerous pure Spiritual Powers were produced, causing the coral reefs to change. There was a chance to give birth to a Heaven and Earth treasure known as "Void Crystal Coral".

This could be crafted into a special space storage treasure, selling for a hefty price. Alternatively, it could be used to make a Magic Potion capable of raising a pet beast’s potential by a grade.

In other words, a creature with Commander Potential could gain Monarch Potential by using it.

But it was limited to Spatial System!

Swallowing it could cause a unique evolution type – the Coral King Insect – to be born from the Void Coral insects!
