Chapter 1184: Chapter 348: Return to the Borderland! Darkness Boss Group! Alien Genius Attack!_2

"Roar!"

Eggy didn’t care whether the Ant Queen was weak or not. It lifted its paw and pointed at the Ant Queen, which was engulfed in roaring flames due to its bleeding, and asked its Master if it could eat it.

Autumn had arrived, the weather was turning cool, and it felt like eating something warm.

"Forget it," Gary Smith waved his hand and said with a smile, "It’s also part of the memories from the growth process, and with the Ant Queen keeping the Secret Environment of the Desert Ant Tomb in check, things will be much more peaceful there. Paper Knight, give it some healing so it doesn’t bleed to death.

And Mousie, why did you have to empty their entire nest? It was just stuff worth a few hundred thousand. Was it necessary to go so far? That’s too much. To prevent such ruthless behavior in the future, all of the loot will be confiscated."

’Be a human being!’

Mousie stood there dumbfounded. Clearly, it was the Cultivator who told it to take them, and now he had become the good guy while it was left to play the villain.

To not kill the Red Fire Ant Queen was clearly to enable sustainable looting, wasn’t it?

With you here, you’re truly a blessing for the creatures of the borderlands!

"Don’t let this happen again next time!"

Gary Smith cheerfully accepted the materials worth hundreds of thousands, feeling somewhat wistful in his heart. Once the exploration of the relic was over and the great battle erupted, he probably wouldn’t see such peaceful scenes anymore.

He had planned on checking out the progress of the chess piece laid out by the Sects, Clans, and Species of the Star Bay Linton Family in the Dark Star Region, but the whole manor was now enveloped by the power of the Wood Ancestor, isolating it from the world; any small movement would be detected.

It seemed that the destruction of the Star Ore Yeaton Family had thrown them into panic.

However, with Gary Smith’s current strength, he was not yet capable of directly confronting a deeply aberrated giant. Once completely twisted, its lifespan would increase dramatically.

Even the Staff of the Dust-Stepper couldn’t kill it!

Instead of startling the snake by hitting the grass, it was better to wait and see how Lily Wood, a natural Perfect Being, would perform, whether she could take revenge and become a Star Moon Titan.

Even if she failed, there was no loss for Gary Smith.

What he was betting on was a risk-free investment.

"But after strolling around for so long, why haven’t I seen any sign of Abundant Green? Is he hiding, or is he not even at the borderlands?"

Gary Smith felt a bit of regret. He had wanted to interact with the old female dragon about the ultimate secrets of the borderlands, but she was nowhere to be found.

If he didn’t find anything after searching a bit more, he would return to Abyss City in glory.

Thinking about it made him a little excited!

With that thought, he called over Red Rabbit and asked it to sense the Earth Vein Power, conducting a thorough search of the borderlands’ areas beyond the battlefield.

However, at this moment, the residents of Abyss City were not happy. Although they were still commuting to work on time, they couldn’t help but look towards the entrance of the city.

With people coming and going, there stood a blood-colored circus in the distance on an open field, covered by canvas so that the interior details were obscured.

There was also a huge Clown Balloon floating at the entrance, comically swaying back and forth and drifting upward, mockingly looking down on Abyss City as if to silently scoff at it.

Although it had not entered the city, it made all the residents of Abyss City feel oppressed and annoyed.

Inside the office floors of the Star Cluster Beast Tower, a Special Task Force member gazed into the distance and couldn’t help but speak up:

"These guys are too arrogant. Are we just going to let them set up like this so openly?"

The colleague beside him said helplessly, "What can we do? After all, with the establishment of the ceasefire zones following the signing of the Multiracial Platform fight contract, we can’t go to war before exploring the relics. These alien geniuses coming to Abyss City for trade-if we refuse, it makes us look weak."

"Trade? Hah..." Leo Thompson, the captain of the Special Task Force, let out a bitter laugh and said, "Who buys stuff after beating a clown guarding the entrance with Morning Star Limit strength, under the pretext of screening qualified traders? And this all conveniently happens when almost none of the strong members of the Abyss City Alliance are around. Only a few people can enter; it’s clear they’re here to show dominance."

The others also expressed their indignation, as due to the repair of the Star Cluster Beast Tower, the powerhouses of Abyss City had not returned and were still on their missions, which were nearing completion.

Yet, just yesterday, the alien race suddenly proposed a request to enter the Human Clan’s border cities for trade and exchange, promising to bring some valuable resources.

In name, to deepen interactions and connections.

Peaceful coexistence!

Although they knew the other party had ambitions, the high-level members of the Border Alliance, after contemplating, did not refuse. Instead, they set forth two demands.

They restricted the entry of Ancient Giants stronger than themselves and also stipulated that the number of Radiant Moon powerhouses could not exceed four.

The Alien Race side gladly agreed, sending Radiant Moon geniuses from four different races. Under the surveillance of the Human Clan, they didn’t run amok but went directly to the gates of Abyss City and established a Dark Circus.

They cordially invited Human Clan geniuses for exchange. However, many adventure group leaders wanted to try entering, yet as soon as they approached, they were instantly killed by a Clown Balloon at the entrance.

It turned out to be a demon at the limit of the Morning Star!

In response to everyone’s doubts, the clown only let out a teehee, indicating that only those who defeated it would qualify for entry.

The Dark Circus does not welcome visits from the weak!

As soon as these words were spoken, the whole place was in an uproar!

Just like Leo Thompson said, the interior of the Abyss City Alliance was hollow, with very few capable of entry.

Silas Davidson and a few other Radiant Moon powerhouses did qualify to go in, but as the other side had sent geniuses of their races, it would be considered a gathering of juniors. If you participate, it would implicitly lower your status.

It would only add to the ridicule.

As for the age-appropriate geniuses, most of them were gaining experience on the Border Battlefield, or studying in the Imperial City, thus leading to the current awkward situation...

That the great Border City, the first of its kind, was being shown up by a group from the Alien Race!

The insult was strong, though the damage was not great!

Thinking of this, Leo Thompson felt a fire brewing in his belly as he muttered, "If only Gary Smith were here, it would be great to cut down the arrogance of these alien brats!"

Hearing this, the others nodded in agreement, "Indeed, our King of the Newcomers from the borderland isn’t here!"

Yet some raised objections: "These Alien Race geniuses seem to have all been promoted to the Radiant Moon, with rich combat experience. It’s highly likely that their strength compares to that of an average high-ranking Radiant Moon. Along with their tricky abilities, they would be formidable foes to Gary Smith!"

"How can you be so timid before even fighting? That’s too cowardly!"

"It’s just a rational analysis. Only by recognizing our shortcomings can we continue to progress. Blind self-confidence only leads to arrogance and complacency."

"Heh, I still believe in Gary Smith. After all, he was the one who spearheaded the victory over the Mechanism King’s Domain disaster."

"..."

The crowd buzzed with discussion, filled with anticipation like the countless residents of Abyss City, hoping for the swift return of Gary Smith and the other borderland geniuses.

However, within the Dark Circus, candle-like human figures ignited in the void, illuminating the empty audience seats, but the radiance failed to reach the vast field.

Faintly discernible were the enormous dark figures wrapped in endless chains.

"The legendary premier city of the borderland? It’s nothing special. The towers’ guards are powerful, but their will has begun to decay. They can’t even find a decent Human Clan genius."

Clatter clatter!

Amidst the sound of iron chains, a group of shabbily dressed girls from the Monster clans such as Rabbit People and cat-like beings, with silver light chains around their necks, crawled numbly out from the shadows, like a herd of lowly livestock.

They groveled on the ground, struggling to move, mustering all their effort to slowly drag out a Golden Carriage to the peak of the audience seats, upon a golden platform.

Atop the carriage, sat a three-meter tall humanoid figure, whose hideous tentacled skull could not be concealed by the Clown Mask, its muscles sinuous, stretching the formal attire taut.

In its hand spread a number of Silver Chains, just a fraction of which were used to bind and pull the chained Alien Races. The rest were connected to the dark stage, making it appear like an exalted Slave Master on high.

"Humans have occupied this fertile land for too long..."
