"Enough!" a deep voice spoke from behind.

Kyra blinked when she saw Vincent. Sweat glistened on his forehead from the sun, making his dark red eyes appear lighter. His jaw clenched as he looked at everyone with a cold expression, emitting an icy aura.

He was in his half-snake form, his body slithering gracefully. Vincent’s snake form was imposing, his scales a striking dark. He quickly slithered toward Kyra, followed closely by Kyle.

As he approached, every male wolf became defensive, surrounding him. Vincent didn’t care; he walked toward Kyra without a hint of fear.

I don’t find him ugly at all." She couldn’t understand why they found him repulsive. To her, his dark scales made him more mysterious and attractive.

Vincent’s ears turned red at her words, and the other wolves gave her incredulous looks, questioning her taste.

Sally, who knew Kyra’s secret, smirked. She knew that Kyra’s refusal to take more mates meant she was infertile, Because of this, she had been pressuring Kyra to consider taking on more mates.

"I bet you offered him a night in your bed, planning to toss him aside later. We all know the game. Prove your commitment by becoming his mate," Sally said with a sneer.

If a male truly loves a female, he must carry her in his arms and climb the three thousand steps of the waterfall stairs. "I will take her," Vincent declared without hesitation. He glanced at Kyle, "Kyle, go to Lucas’s house and take care of him."

Kyle nodded obediently.

Kyra gaped as Vincent suddenly lifted her in a bridal style. Her hands rested against his chest, her heart pounding faster with every step they took toward their uncertain future.

She looked at him and saw the crowd parting to make way for them. As Vincent carried her, she took in his sharp jaw and felt his heart beating rapidly against her. The intensity in his eyes matched the thudding rhythm she could feel through his chest, making her own heart race in response.
