Chapter 173: Chapter 173 Spiral Woon Beast

Benjamin looked coldly at the shadowy figure in front of him. "How many males joined our group?" he asked, leaning back on the bed and glancing down at his fair, large hands.

"The count is more than nineteen thousand," the shadow replied, emitting a dark blue energy. His eyes were red, and his body appeared foggy.

A smirk appeared on Benjamin’s face. "The number has grown since last month," he said, looking out the window.

"Soon, we’ll be able to start the war and get the world key." the shadow said in a low, scary voice.

"Hmm... I can’t wait," Benjamin said, lowering his white eyelashes. He looked innocent and lovely, almost gentle. "To create chaos in the world."

The shadow’s eyes gleamed with a sinister light. "Our preparations are nearly complete. The alliances we’ve forged with other tribes will ensure our victory."

Benjamin’s smirk deepened. "Excellent. Ensure that our spies remain undetected. I want no surprises when the time comes."

The shadow nodded, his form shifting slightly. "Our spies are the best. They won’t fail."

Benjamin stood up, walking slowly to the window. He looked out at the landscape, his mind filled with visions of the chaos he would unleash. "Good. The world has been complacent for too long. It’s time for a new order, one that we will control."

The shadow flickered, then solidified once more. "What about the resistance? They grow bolder each day."

Benjamin’s expression darkened. "Crush them. Use whatever means necessary. We cannot afford to let them gain any ground."

"As you command," the shadow replied, bowing slightly before disappearing into the darkness.

Benjamin turned away from the window, his mind already plotting the next steps. He walked back to his bed, lying down and staring at the ceiling.

The world would soon know the true extent of his power, and there would be no stopping him.

And he was going to start with his hometown. The next beauty contest was going to be interesting, he thought, smirking as he closed his eyes.

The beauty contest preparations had already begun, and Damon was hard at work on his designs for Kyra. Today, he was taking her on a tour around town to help her become more familiar with the area and market.

Kyra wore a long-sleeved skirt Damon had given her and a furry sweater from her space capsule. She held his hand as he showed her around, pointing out houses and local areas.

"Whose house is that? It’s so big!" Kyra exclaimed, her eyes widening in amazement as she looked at the grand house before them.

The wooden house was a two-story structure with multiple doors, and she could see movements inside from afar.

"It’s Sandra’s house," Damon replied curtly. "Let’s go; we have more to see." His mood visibly darkened as he didn’t even glance back at the house.

Kyra looked back at the house with curiosity before following him. As they continued, they reached the market area, which was bustling with activity. Stalls lined the streets, selling everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts. People moved about, haggling over prices and chatting.

Kyra’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she took in the lively scene. "Is it always this busy here?" she asked, trying to keep up with Damon as they weaved through the crowd.

"Only during market days," Damon replied. "And especially now, with the beauty contest coming up. Everyone’s preparing and buying what they need."

Kyra nodded as she looked around, marveling at the size and variety of the market. It was much bigger than the one Lucas had taken her to, and it seemed to have an endless array of shops selling all kinds of goods. There were stalls with watches, bracelets, shampoos, soaps, and countless clothing shops.

Kyra looked around Watching every item they are selling, They passed by a jewelry stall, and her eyes caught on a beautiful necklace made of shimmering stones. Damon noticed her interest and stopped.

"Do you like it?" he asked, picking up the necklace and holding it up to her neck.

"It’s beautiful," Kyra said, touching the delicate stones. "But I don’t need anything so fancy."

Damon smiled. "You deserve to feel special, Kyra. Let’s get it for the contest." He handed some coins to the vendor and placed the necklace gently around her neck. "There, perfect."

Kyra blushed, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "Thank you, Damon. It’s lovely."

As she admired the necklace, she glanced back at Damon, who was scanning the shops around them. Her eyes lingered on his face, taking in his sharp features, his long blue hair that cascaded over his shoulders, and the way his lips curved slightly as he concentrated. She couldn’t help but notice the hint of muscles showing through his robes, making her heart race a little faster.

They continued walking, Kyra’s gaze often drifting back to Damon.

Damon noticed her glances and smiled. "You’re staring, little thing," he teased gently.

Kyra’s blush returned, and she looked away, embarrassed. "I... I was just thinking about how much you’ve helped me," she stammered.

Damon chuckled softly. "Well, I’m glad I could help. And if you ever need anything, just let me know."

She nodded, feeling a warmth spreading from her chest to the rest of her body.

Damon then looked around for fabric, his eyes narrowing as he assessed the quality of the goods. He didn’t like ready-made clothes; they never matched the standards he set for his own designs. He needed something special, something that would not only look beautiful on Kyra but also protect her from the cold.

"We need to find some fabric made by the Spiral Woon Beast tribe," Damon said, turning to Kyra. "Their material is silky smooth and excellent at keeping out the cold."

Kyra nodded, curiously she asked him "Damon, what’s a Spiral Woon Beast? I’ve never heard of them before."

he explained. "Spiral Woon Beasts are twelve-legged creatures. They crawl on the ground and are known for their unique ability to produce an exceptionally smooth and durable fabric. It’s one of the best materials for making clothes, especially for cold weather."
