My Love Debts Are Everywhere! -
Chapter 638 - 638: All-out Fight - Part 3
*Bang!*
*Bang!*
*Bang!*
Two figures shot through the air at blinding speed, colliding with explosive force. Each impact unleashed a massive sandstorm, blasting out in all directions.
*Whoosh!*
Leon vanished and reappeared right in front of the Evil God's consciousness.
Without hesitation, he twisted his body and slashed toward his opponent's neck.
But the strike was blocked—by the Evil God's steel-like right arm.
*Clang!*
The clash rang out with a deafening metallic sound.
The Evil God sneered coldly. He drew back his left fist and drove it into Leon's stomach.
Leon's eyes widened. He tried to dodge—but he was a second too late.
*Boom!*
The punch landed squarely, launching Leon hundreds of meters through the air.
He crashed into the sand, tumbling violently before managing to twist midair and regain his balance.
"Damn…" Leon growled, clutching his abdomen in pain.
The impact was so brutal, he felt as if his internal organs had shifted.
He wiped the corner of his mouth—and saw blood.
"Huff…" Leon exhaled sharply, channeling holy power through his body to mend the internal damage.
Once the pain dulled, he bent his knees and whispered, "Hero Technique: Space Steps!"
*Whoosh!*
He vanished and reappeared five meters above the ground—then again five meters forward.
He kept blinking across the battlefield, disappearing and reappearing so rapidly that the naked eye could barely track his movements.
The Evil God's consciousness narrowed his eyes, sharp and vigilant.
Even with his extraordinary abilities, he couldn't track Leon's movements.
*Whoosh!*
Suddenly, a chill swept in from behind as Leon appeared, swinging his sword in a powerful arc.
"Hero Technique: Five Dragon Steps!" he shouted, aiming for the Evil God's neck.
The Evil God spun and ducked just in time, narrowly dodging the strike.
But as if he'd anticipated the move, Leon twisted his body upward and slashed vertically, aiming directly for the Evil God's head.
"What!?" The Evil God gasped in shock.
Before he could move, the Holy Sword of Zenith sliced through him, cutting his body clean in two.
But the assault didn't stop there.
"Second Step!"
"Third Step!"
"Fourth Step!"
"Fifth Step!"
Leon vanished and reappeared again and again, delivering relentless strikes.
His blade tore the Evil God's form into shreds—until there was nothing left but scattered fragments.
With the final step, Leon stopped, stepping back, his breath ragged. Sweat trickled down his brow and spine.
His eyes locked on the dismembered remains of his opponent—now reduced to pieces.
"Did it work?" he wondered silently.
Each strike had been aimed at vital points. By all logic, the Evil God's consciousness should be dead.
And yet… this being defied all logic—an existence beyond reason.
Just as Leon had feared, the shredded pieces of the Evil God's body began to twitch, then slowly fused back together into a single form.
His face now twisted in fury, eyes burning with dark rage.
"Bastard! I'll kill you and erase you from this world!" He roared, his voice erupting like thunder.
The sheer force of it unleashed a shockwave, sending a violent wind in all directions.
"Ugh!" Leon grunted, shielding his face as white sand blasted against his body.
Then, he sensed it—a sudden presence looming just behind him.
Before he could react, a heavy blow struck his back.
*Boom!*
His body shot through the air like a bullet, flying hundreds of meters as pain exploded through every nerve.
As he twisted midair to recover, the Evil God appeared above him and slammed a brutal heel-kick down.
*Boom!*
Leon crashed into the ground, forming a five-meter-deep crater in the sand.
Floating above, the Evil God glared coldly, hatred burning in his eyes.
He raised his left fist and swung it down, shaking the very air.
In that instant, a giant hand materialized from thin air and hurtled toward Leon.
Leon didn't have time to feel the pain—he forced his battered body to move and dashed out of the crater.
Moments later, the giant hand slammed into the spot he'd just escaped from, creating a crater tens of meters wide.
If Leon had been just a second slower, he might have survived—but the injuries would have left him unconscious, possibly forever.
"Hah... Hah... Hah..." Leon panted, clutching his aching chest. "This is bad. If this keeps up, I'm definitely going to lose."
The power radiating from the Evil God's consciousness was unimaginable. He was, without a doubt, the strongest opponent Leon had ever faced.
Worse, his body seemed truly immortal—impossible to kill.
"Miranda, are you there? Have you found a way to defeat him?" Leon asked softly.
"I've found it, Master," Miranda's gentle voice echoed in his mind, offering a small sense of relief.
"Then tell me."
"There are two possible ways to defeat him. The first is to keep killing him—destroying his body over and over until he's no longer able to regenerate."
"Destroying him repeatedly?" Leon frowned. "How many times exactly?"
"I'm not sure, but probably between a hundred and two hundred times."
Leon: "..."
Easy to say, but nearly impossible to achieve.
He only managed to destroy the Evil God's body before because he caught him off guard.
Doing it ten times would be a miracle—let alone a hundred or more.
Besides, the Evil God's consciousness would surely grow suspicious, making him even more alert.
For now, Leon dismissed the first, nearly impossible method and asked, "What's the second way?"
"The second way is sealing," Miranda explained. "While you keep him distracted, I'll prepare a seal strong enough to trap him so he can't escape."
"And then you'll purify him—just like you did with the Evil God's consciousness inside the dragon ancestor's body."
"Oh?" Leon raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "That's a smart plan. Definitely worth a shot."
Compared to the first option, this one made much more sense.
"But don't be careless, Master," Miranda warned seriously. "If he senses the seal being prepared, he'll avoid the battlefield. If that happens, our plan will fail. You must keep him focused and unsuspecting. Can you handle that?"
Leon smiled confidently as he stood. "Leave it to me. I won't fail."
"Good," Miranda replied, satisfied. "I'll begin the sealing formation."
Leon gave a slight nod and turned his gaze toward the Evil God still hovering in the sky.
Although their exchange seemed lengthy, it all happened in less than five seconds.
He raised the Holy Sword of Zenith and pointed it at the Evil God's consciousness. "Then… it's time to fight."
His right eye turned pitch black, a crescent moon pattern glowing at its center.
Chaos power surged through his body, focusing in that eye.
"Time to test my new ability—the Eye of Chaos!"
