My five ghostly husbands -
Chapter 45 Creation of the World
Chapter 45: Chapter 45 Creation of the World
"Me and Brother Adi sharing room and Karl and Julian sharing room," Milo said, blinking at her cutely.
"I thought you and Julian might share a room," Ruby said.
They didn’t say anything in response.
"So since I have done the first ritual, I can go to my room now, right?" Ruby asked, a small hint of hope in her voice.
"Of course, wife," Julian replied gently, his tone warm and assuring.
Ruby nodded at them, a smile on her face, and then made her way to her room.
Her room was located at the far end of the wooden house, tucked away in a corner. It was a peaceful and serene space, the perfect retreat for rest after all the rituals and the busy morning.
The room had a large, soft cloud bed with fluffy pillows that almost seemed to float when she lay on them.
The bed was draped with gentle, calming white linens that gave the room a light, airy feel.
A small wooden desk sat by the window where she could look out and enjoy the view, and there was a wardrobe with enough space for her belongings.
Just across the hallway from Ruby’s room was Julian and Karl’s shared room.
A little further down the hall was the room where Adi and Milo staying.
At the end of the hall, near the main entrance, was the bathroom. It had a large wooden bathtub and a small shower area. Next to it was the toilet room, which was a small but private space, ensuring that everyone had their own space to relax and unwind.
Ruby couldn’t help but smile as she looked around her new room, the soft scent of wood filling the air, making her feel at ease. This place, with its peaceful and calm atmosphere, was starting to feel like home.
After checking out her room, Ruby made her way to the toilet. Thankfully, it had a tap, which made her feel a little more comfortable in this new place. She then moved on to the washroom.
It was a nice space, with a clean, wooden bathtub that gave the room a rustic charm. The shower looked perfect, too, with its wooden floor.
Feeling relieved, Ruby finally went to the toilet to take care of her nature business.

At the same time, in an old, small mansion surrounded by twisted trees with barely any leaves, the windows creaked open. The dim, melancholic atmosphere inside reflected the mansion’s age.
The room was sparsely furnished, with a grave bed covered in gray sheets. Soft pillows were scattered haphazardly, and a 28-inch TV flickered in the corner, showing a ghost on the screen.
The ghost had long, golden-blonde hair, his blue eyes sparkling with a piercing intensity, as though he was staring right into the soul of anyone who dared to watch. With a confident smirk, he leaned forward into the camera.
"I fell in love with someone at first sight! Get ready to grab it; I’m throwing ten thousand gems to celebrate!" he announced with arrogant flair, the camera pulling back to reveal a room brimming with money, gems, and treasures.
He flashed a sly grin before continuing, "Just dial the toll-free number 335 3789, and you’ll be in for a treat."
The TV broadcast was aimed at the wealthy elite, those who were fortunate enough to have both a TV and a phone.
Only they, the lucky few, could take advantage of the offer, with the true rewards going to those who could reach out and claim them.
On the grave bed, Kaelan, dressed in a loose robe, leaned against the headrest. In the dim light, his blue eyes seemed even more striking, their glint casting an almost hypnotic effect. He reached out and turned off the TV, the silence settling back over the room. His skin seemed to glow faintly in the low light, making him look ethereal.
Without turning his gaze, he spoke. "Have you found any news related to her?" Kaelan’s voice held a subtle edge as he addressed Rowan, his manager, who was seated stiffly on the sofa.
Rowan straightened up, trying to mask his hesitation. "Yes, I found a lead..." He paused, looking a bit uneasy. "Though I couldn’t see her hair color clearly since she was covered with a scarf. But don’t worry, I’ll find her soon."
Kaelan’s brows drew together slightly as he noticed the odd strain in Rowan’s voice.
However, Kaelan didn’t say anything. Rowan had been his manager for a year now, and he trusted him. Rowan had proven his loyalty time and time again, always anticipating Kaelan’s needs, handling his affairs with discretion. Kaelan didn’t think for a moment that Rowan would break that trust.
But if only he knew....

Ruby placed her notebook and pens neatly on her table, glancing out the window for a moment. Her room offered a surprisingly good view of the distant canyon, with rugged mountains and twisted trees creating a mysterious, almost haunting landscape.
Her gaze shifted to a thick book on the table—a book with no title, but one that held the history of this strange world she’d found herself in. She had told Julian that she didn’t want to be disturbed, claiming she was going to rest, and had even locked her door for added assurance. She’d tucked her savings carefully in the wardrobe drawer, securing it with a small key before turning to her studies.
Pulling the chair close to the table, Ruby finally opened the book, taking a deep, steadying breath as her eyes traced over the text.
"Creation of the World," Ruby read on the first page, eyes widening with curiosity.
The story starts with the Ghost God, a powerful demon who once ruled with great strength, until he faced a terrible defeat that left him weak and nearly powerless. Overcome with a feeling of loss and unfairness, he felt a heavy sadness in his soul. Longing to regain his strength, he did something no demon had ever done before—he prayed to the Almighty God, the highest creator he had once hated.
