The discussion about movies did not finish that day. Anton sometimes had to spend several minutes telling everyone about a single film and even had to show them the trailers for some of those movies.

The first few movies that they had listed were easier because the family had seen them before. The good thing about those films was that Anton selected truly high-quality movies since he intended to impress his family back then.

Anton was a bit flabbergasted that it took them the whole day just to discuss the first fifteen movies. The reason it took so long was that they had to align those films to the correct season, and those who had not seen the film wanted to know what the movie was all about. When Anton and the others who had seen the films explained what the movie was all about, Antonia and the others needed more perspective, and that was when the movie trailers were needed.

“Are we not going to show a television show in the cinema?” Anna asked.

“No, because television shows are designed to be shown on a television, which was a device that allowed them to view them in their homes, much like what we’re doing in our home theater system. I would have considered showing them if we lacked movies, but that is one thing that we will not lack in the next few years or even decades. So for now, treat the television shows as exclusively for us,” Anton answered his sister.

That day, they only stopped for meals or bathroom breaks and spent the whole day discussing films, the right months they should be shown, and the trailers of the films they had already listed.

“With the number of movies they had created, I would have created associated business that would increase my wealth like award shows, art pieces, and more,” Antonia suddenly said softly.

“Anything that you can think of has already been done by the people from that dimension. They had been in the movie business for more than a century, so they had explored every avenue that one could think of when it came to squeezing wealth from their audiences. They developed a line of toys based on those films and theme parks where customers can explore a place and ride playful rides and basically enjoy a full day full of magic, imagining themselves living inside those films,” Anton said.

“Can you tell me more about the theme parks that you mentioned?” Antonia asked.

Anton then told them about Disney Land and other theme parks. It resulted in him needing to show them videos about the said theme parks, and the eyes of Antonia, Lucia, Philip, and Walter glittered, and he knew that those kinds of businesses would probably start to sprout in New Drennor.

After that diversion, which was a common occurrence when they discussed anything about things that came from Earth, they returned to discussing films that they would show in the cinema.

Anton had to say that everyone’s opinion was helpful, and at around six in the evening, they completed the discussion for the first fifteen movies.

One thing that his father, Nemina, Antonia, and the others agreed on was that for the first few movies, they would not show anything that would shock any of the audiences, and those were the films based on Science Fiction or the modern day of the dimension where the movies came from.

That decision made Anna, Ramona, and Belinda a bit proud since that meant they could see movies and shows that others would not be able to see, and Anton believed that the girls were treating it as some sort of a flex.

Since they had already decided on the first half of the movie list, they would continue the discussion the next day, but Anton gave his father two small globes of Browser Sharing that contained the film that they were planning to show next and its trailer.

The trailer would be shown starting the next day until the showing, which would be on Thursday.

What surprised Anton was that his family chose a Disney animated film to show next, which was Beauty and the Beast. Even though there was a live action film for that movie, Anton chose the animated one since in his opinion the music representation of the animated film was a hundred times better than the live action movie and to be honest, his family weren’t aware that there was even a live action movie for some of the Disney films they had already seen and Anton was not keen on sharing that information.

Regarding some of the shocking films that Anton had informed them about, like the Star Wars films or the Harry Potter film series, Antonia recommended that they should be shown during the latter half of the journey to the Gale continent. Since it wasn’t that important to Anton, he just told everyone that it was going to be his father’s decision.

They understood then that Anton’s priority wasn’t the films but was his magic just like before, so they knew that all business decisions would still be in the hands of Anders and would never go in to Anton’s hands, probably ever.

After the meeting about the list of movies concluded for that day, before they went to the dining hall for dinner, Anders made an announcement.

“Selena, Norma, and Belue decided to join our family as my mistresses,” Anders said with a red face.

Even though Anton kept joking about this very situation, he was still a bit shocked, but he did clap along with the others. Devon and Frederick looked at Anders with envy, and Anton could understand why. Selena, Norma, and Belue were extremely beautiful women.

Antonia and Lucia did inform Anton one time that they were expecting something like this to happen because the potential of their family earning an incredible amount of wealth because of the films was through the roof and it was a good thing that Anders was now being protected by Selena and her two friends who were experienced socialites.

Anton knew that the three ladies probably hedged their bet that Anders would be their key to wealth, and he didn’t mind since he knew that the ladies would not hurt his father since they knew that if they did so, they would earn the anger of an archmage that was near becoming a Supreme Wizard.

When Anton looked around, he almost laughed out loud since Anna looked very shocked. Even though she was clapping like everyone else, she could not avoid showing the shock that she was feeling in her eyes, but with Lunelle, Ramona, and Belinda beside her, Anton was confident that they could handle explaining everything to his sister.

 Anton then noticed that his father was looking at him, so he showed his approval in his face and actions, and that seemed to relieve Anders. After that announcement, they all went to the dining hall to eat dinner, but he told everyone that, as a celebration, he would ask Harun to cook them a Kraken feast the next day.

That announcement made his father happy since it made it seem like Anton approved of his father’s decision to take in Norma and Belue as well. When they arrived at the dining hall, Anders headed to somewhere first, and when Anton asked, Lucia told him that after the bard performance that night, the trailer of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast would be shown next.

As expected, when dinner was almost over and the bard concluded that performance, the trailer for the animated film was welcomed by the audience excitedly. Anton even overheard some comments from some of the passengers that they made the right decision to join the Amelia in traveling to the Gale continent.
