“I planned to work on my own to try and find Antonia and Lucia and rescue them. I purchased a spell called Locate Creature and I will try to fly around Norbuna to try and pinpoint their exact location,” Anton told everyone.

They were about to go outside the conference room to start doing what they needed to do when somebody knocked on the door. When Colin opened it, it was one of the archmages behind the Supreme Wizards during the earlier discussion regarding the kidnapping of Antonia and Lucia.

“Archmage Sunder, the Supreme Wizard Adinor wanted to let you know that the spell that the wizards used to try to find the two heiresses pinpointed them to be moving to the east of the islands before the spell was interrupted. Some mages and ship’s guards are already there trying to find them discreetly so as not to endanger the two young ladies.”

After saying his piece, the archmage who didn’t even introduce himself immediately left but they knew that the man was just extremely busy and not being rude based on his expression. The wizard looked harried and it would have been amusing if not for the dire situation that Antonia and Lucia were in.

“Please remember, everyone, the ship has powerful mages. Even though we’re all feeling worried and a bit lost, trust the wizards' power. We’ve been in this situation before since, as you all know, the four of us were from rich families, and our wizards never failed to do what they needed to do to make sure that we’re safe,” Walter said.

Everyone kept forgetting that Antonia, Lucia, Walter, and Philip were four of the richest scions of some of the richest families in New Drennor. The main reason was that the four treated Anton and his family members as equals.

“To be honest with you, Anton. Even if you don’t move, it wouldn’t probably take an hour or two before the ladies were rescued,” Philip added.

“Even if the Supreme Wizards continue to fail to pinpoint the ladies, the Invincible Wizard wouldn’t let the ship stay on this island for too long and would probably make her move, and once she did, it’s over for those assassins,” Walter continued.

“The Invincible Wizard is a woman?!” Anna asked, excitement and surprise clearly visible on her face.

Philip simply nodded to Anna’s question but based on the ladies of the family’s expressions, Anton knew that once the situation was resolved, Walter and Philip would face a tremendous amount of questioning from the girls.

Anton could understand since knowing that the most powerful being near them was a woman invoked a sense of ambition in the girls since ever since the beginning, they had always been around powerful mages but they were always men. Now they knew that even if they were women, they could be the most powerful wizards around.

After that discussion, they all stepped outside to start performing their assigned roles. Anton summoned a Raven to inform Torun and the others that he wouldn’t be able to join for the rest of the day. He didn’t give any more details and knew that his friends would understand. Anton planned to fly toward the location where that archmage told them where the last pinpointed location of Antonia and Lucia was. While doing so, he planned to envelop himself in the Invisibility spell to prevent the assassin from noticing him. then he would stop every one thousand feet while circling to cast the Locate Creature spell.

The Locate Creature spell would dispel his Invisibility, so he planned to cast it once he found an unnoticeable place. Then he would renew his Invisibility and follow the prompt that the Locate Creature Spell gave him. The good thing about his rank as an archmage, he could store multiple copies of the same spell in his mind, so he only needed to memorize the spell once, and he should be able to cast them several times during his search.

Anton stepped outside the Cosplay Event venue and started flying to the east of the island using his Telekinesis spell. His act was noticed by several people but then they ignored him since a flying wizard was a common enough sight. At least the spell didn’t conflict with his Diablo II system spells and was able to work while he was holding himself with Telekinesis to fly as long as he cast Invisibility when he was already aloft. Before casting the Invisibility spell, he cast the Locate Creature spell, and it pinpointed Antonia and Lucia’s location toward where he was heading which was the east.

He knew that once the prompt disappeared, that was the time he would need to cast the Locate Creature Spell again and the Invisibility spell again. Anton was hoping that he would find the girls before they were abused by the assassins.

After around thirty minutes of flying, he received a mental prompt. He had the power to deny the prompt, but he accepted it.

It was a message using some sort of mental communication spell from the Supreme Adinor.

“Archmage Sunder, we found Antonia and Lucia’s location and we’re now preparing to engage the assassin group. Please don’t disturb us to prevent any sort of chaos or confusion during the rescue attempt. I recommend that you return now and await the news from us regarding the rescue. I’m thankful that Philip informed me about your plan to search for the young heiresses yourself.”

Anton kept underestimating the power of the ship’s wizards. Their enemy was not mages, meaning that the group was limited in what they could do magic-wise compared to the wizards. He hurried back to the Cosplay Event Venue and thought that there was a chance that by the time he arrived there, the issue would have been resolved.

While he was flying, he knew that it was a mistake for him to treat himself as the problem solver for every issue that his family and his friends encountered. He was just one man, and even though he was powerful due to his Diablo II system, he was not omnipotent and Anton knew that the mistake of underestimating the magic of this world’s wizards could be his undoing.

Anton thought that he could just focus on his Diablo II system and that would allow him to become powerful enough, but knew that he was severely wrong. He decided that once they were back on the ship to continue their travel to the Gale Continent, he would join the wizards' lessons regarding magic since the knowledge would ultimately benefit him.

The lessons were costly, but the fact that Anton was able to create an enchanted item meant that paying for those lessons would not be a problem. He thought that maybe it was time for him to apprentice himself to a powerful wizard or join a wizard academy and start from scratch. He was only seventeen going on eighteen in this world and would benefit from the knowledge that would come from knowing the magic system of this world.

Anton remembered planning something like this before but held off because he wanted to make sure that his family were safe and protected before he could leave them and more than likely, it would be the same once they arrived in the Gale Continent.

He also knew that the main reason that was stopping him from truly focusing on learning magic was his ability to access Earth’s media. He kept giving out the excuse that he and his family needed the coins that particular ability would provide them, and it was true. He decided that he would talk to his father regarding this issue and prayed that his Diablo II system would provide a solution for him to be able to give his family copies of Earth’s media content without his presence so he could focus on increasing his magical might.
