Chapter 308: 308 Compassionate Heart Chapter 308: 308 Compassionate Heart Daylight broke, and Luo Xiyun woke from a deep sleep. Luo Xiyun swatted his hand away in annoyance. She certainly didn’t believe such a story. Seeing him refuse to give a straight answer, she simply got out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

After washing up, she changed clothes and casually drew the curtains open, only to spot a footprint on the windowsill. Startled, she peered outside and saw several more conspicuous footprints on the platform where the air conditioning unit was placed.

“You climbed through the window?” She spun around to face Chen Xu and snapped angrily, “Are you out of your mind?”

Chen Xu was still wearing the pink bathrobe, sitting and scrolling through his phone. Hearing her, he looked up, smiled, and said, “I just wanted to be with you.”

“You’re such an asshole,” Luo Xiyun walked over, grabbed a pillow, and hurled it at him, then huffily opened the door and stormed out.

Following that, Chen Xu heard the sound of the front door shutting–he had actually left. He called out, “If you go, what am I supposed to do?”

There was no response.

The estate agent explained, “The owner of this apartment had originally intended to live here themselves.
