Chapter 40: In The Ship

Time had never passed that quick.

It was already the day for them to leave.

After that day, Asher didn’t ask anything more from the duke. He would get to know them while they were travelling anyway.

"Anne, behave yourself. If you want something, ask Bill, okay?"

"Okay. Don’t worry."

"Hmm...Take care of yourself. Don’t eat too much cake or else you will get sick."

"I know! Don’t talk about cake."

"Sigh...I am leaving then."

"Goodbye. Have a safe journey."

Anne grabbed Felix’s collar and forced him to bend down. Then she kissed Felix’s cheek and ran to Asher where she also did the same.

She looked so proud and Asher was stunned as this could be a crime to let a noble kiss him.

Asher was scared the duke might keep this in mind and blame him but at that time, Asher saw the duke’s lips form into a slight smile.

Asher was distracted by Anne again very soon and he said goodbye to her before walking out of the mansion with the duke.

The duke had packed his clothes and his things by himself. As Asher carried both of their bags, they entered the carriage and arrived at the port.

Asher had not seen many nobles in the city as he rarely goes out. He is a commoner so he wouldn’t catch sight of them anyway.

Because of that, he had no idea who was going to travel with the duke and was quite panicked about doing something wrong to piss someone off.

However, the duke seemed to see his nervousness.

"Asher, just stay with me and that’s enough. Don’t worry about anything else. As long as you’re with me, everything is going to be alright."

Asher was reassured. He stood behind the duke and stared at the duke’s back as he zoned out with thoughts.

’He looks handsome when the sun falls on him.’

’Wow! So all rich people go on these huge ships?!’

’Should I thank the duke again for giving me the chance to get in one of these?’

’Sigh...how long do we have to wait more?’

Just as Asher was zoning out, he zoned back in as the duke stepped up and showed respect to an older man who stopped in front of them.

"Shall we go then, young man?"

The old man seemed to be in his 60s and had a very welcoming smile. He patted on Felix’s shoulder and asked him as he turned to look at a ship.

"Yes sir."

Felix respectfully said and followed him and his servant before looking at Asher and signalling him to follow him.

Then they got onto their ship and waited until it departed. It was a very easy process though.

Asher thought entering the ship needed a lot of privileges. But it turned out being a servant to a noble was enough.

When they reached the cabin reserved for the duke, Felix sat Asher down on the chair and tried to give him some explanation.

"That person was the grand duke Sage. Other dukes who are also going with us are not on good terms with me except that gentleman. That’s why they didn’t invite me to enter the ship together with them, unlike the grand duke. So they will just ignore me. But you have to be careful because their servants might try to bully you. So stay with me as long as you can. If anyone bothers you, come straight to me, okay?"

"Okay duke."

"We will be getting off the ship after around a day. So until then, take some rest and enjoy your free time since we will get busy when we arrive at our destination."

"Understood duke."

"Mmm..."

Felix said and turned to look at the small bed in the cabin.

There are exactly three dukes and a granduke who was going on this ship on behalf of their empire. They were actually personally invited by the emperor of the other empire as he must have had a good impression of them when he visited their empire once before.

The emperor was also invited to join their special festival but unfortunately, the emperor was ill and he wasn’t in a condition to travel. So on behalf of him, they were going to deliver their sincere apologies too.

And visiting an emperor wasn’t a simple thing. In a foreign place, you wouldn’t know when things would go wrong. So it was in their best interest to behave extremely well and careful.

They have to bring gifts too. It was all under the grand duke’s supervision and Felix didn’t really have anything to worry about...yet...

Felix was quite worried about getting cornered away by his own people in an unknown place. He should have straight refused to go on this trip, but he couldn’t as the most important guest was also unable to attend. If Felix also rejects this even with a lie, it might come off as rude and disrespecting. So he just accepted it and decided to at least use this chance to get some fresh air...

Even though he knew...it’s gonna be quite tough..

He wasn’t just worried about getting cornered away...It wasn’t such a big deal anyway.

But because he thought someone could be waiting for him there...who would be the beginning of his problems for the whole month he will stay there.

"So, he will come right?"

The man, sitting on the edge of his bed, held the red rose between his fingers and looked at the man half-kneeling in front of as a gesture of respect.

"Yes prince. We got the letter confirming he would arrive here tomorrow."

The man said but somewhat nervously.

"Haa...I can’t wait! How long has it been since I saw that face? His cold glare, that panicked look...It all still makes me excited every time. What a skill he has..."

The man’s red eyes glowed with excitement and his lips curving into an evil smirk, the rose getting crushed inside his palm.

"Let’s meet each other soon. Felix..."

The man licked his lips as he threw away the crushed rose and ordered the kneeling man to come closer.

"You know what to do. Do it! Suck it!"

He said with a cold expression and watched the man unbutton his pants and shoving his face down, trying to satisfy the god of his life.

The man’s naked upper body with hard muscles tightened with satisfaction and his smirk grew wider as the satisfaction reached.

’Ha...I can’t wait to see you doing this...Just imagining your face...isn’t enough. Felix, come soon. I am waiting here...’

The man moaned as his thoughts ended and that face appeared in his mind before closing his eyes and grabbing the man’s hair.

"Do it well!"

The moaning continued and the man slowly opened his red glowy eyes before grinning again, seeing the crushed rose petals aside as his muscles tightened and he satisfied his desire.

’Felix, I will not let go of you this time. Definitely, not this time...’
