Ever since that conversation, Felix found himself quite surprised by Anne’s weirdly polite behaviour.

That evening, he went to have tea with her. Even though he was not a fan of sweets or tea, he went because he always thought accompanying her should be done as she must be lonely.

Felix didn’t ask her anything. He silently watched her speaking and waited to see if she would pull out the same topic again. But she didn’t.
