Finally having a moment to herself, she got up and went to her room to retrieve her laptop. She had one more thing to do before heading to bed.

She sent another message to Ming Beicheng hoping he was still awake.

{Do you know any site where I can hire a bodyguard?"}

The message quickly came through and she smiled when she was Ming Beicheng reply.

{A former boss of mine asked the same question, so yes I do know where you can find a bodyguard but the process of getting the bodyguard is rather funny}

Now that she was done with her what she was doing she finally replied to all the text messages that had piled up.

Tang Xue Mei sent the last message and went back to the room, finally closing her eyes at 11pm to rest.

The next morning Feng Shihan was still asleep when she woke up. Tang Xue Mei wasn’t surprised it’s been days since he got some proper rest so it wasn’t surprising that he was still asleep.

She left the bed and walked to her room, she felt a bit chilly so she could wear some warm clothes today.

Feng Shihan was still asleep when she went back to the room after taking her bath, so she decided to let him be and have breakfast alone.

"Good morning young madam, did you have pleasant dreams?"

"Uncle wang good morning to you as well and yes I did pleasant dreams but it still feels as though something’s missing.."

"It’s must be the little cat that left for some days and returned last night.."

Tang Xue Mei widened indeed she had not seen that little meow since she got back.

"Where is she?"

"Auntie Gu served her warm milk by the kitchen.."

Tang Xue Mei smiled and walked together nodding at the maids that bowed as they continued doing their jobs.

Lotus ears perked up when she heard footsteps and raised her head to see Tang Xue Mei standing in front of her.

Tang Xue Mei smiled as she picked her from the ground stroking her chin softly.

"You naughty meow where have you been?"

"Meow! Meow" {I got lost while exploring this gigantic house, I thought I would die from starvation.."

Tang Xue Mei placed the cat down so she could continue having her milk while she went into the kitchen.

"Auntie Gu good morning..."

"Ah young madam don’t you look hale and hearty. Your guest arrived so early I started making breakfast early. You were still asleep so we decided not to wake you up.."

Tang Xue Mei looked out the kitchen door and saw Ming Beicheng chatting with butler Wang.

"How come I didn’t see him?"

Tang Xue Mei muttered and she walked to the living room.

"You’re here early?"

"Boss good morning, well you didn’t give me a time so I came early.."

"Then you’ll join us for breakfast...you don’t have to worry about Feng Shihan he’s still asleep.."

"I thought the CEO of a huge conglomerate like Feng corporations would be an early riser.."

"Well this CEO tends to overwork himself.."

Ming Beicheng didn’t say anything and relayed the restaurant’s stats to Tang Xue Mei.

"Song Jia and the others wish to know when you’ll drop by the restaurant.."

Tang Xue Mei stroked her chin she would be busy today and two days from now so probably the day after.

"Soon enough.."

Ming Beicheng he wanted to speak but stopped when he saw Feng Shihan at the stairs.

"Ming Beicheng i welcome you to mi casa.."

Tang Xue Mei hissed did he wake up at the wrong side of the bed.

"The pleasure is mine Feng Shihan.."

Feng Shihan smiled as he tightened his tie calmly walking down the stairs.

"You haven’t eaten breakfast? Hurry up we don’t have much time.."

Feng Shihan ordered breakfast had missed work for four days he couldn’t allow Feng Shiyan and Sun Haoyang handle everything alone.

"Auntie Gu can we have the meals to go then"

"No..eat there’s still time for you to eat and carry that naughty meow along with you.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded and walked to the table, Feng Shihan and Ming Beicheng following behind her.

"You’re not allowed to come home late.."

Feng Shihan stood up looking at his watch it was already 9am, he was late as it is.

"Eat whenever you feel hungry, you can have auntie Gu make you a snack to carry along. Be good, don’t get into a trouble, I’m sure Ming Beicheng won’t be willing to give his life up for you..."
