Feng Shihan went back to check the Tangbao’s leaving, Tang Xue Mei and Feng Shihan to themselves once againZ

"So your brother said even if I don’t know him, I’m supposed to know you. So who are you exactly. A celebrity? With your face I’m guessing I’m right.."

Feng Shiyan smiled, he really enjoyed being in the limelight for those four years, they were worth it.

"Well your guess is right sister-in-law, I used to be a celebrity I mean I’m still pretty famous but not a celebrity. I started acting when I was 19 then joined a band when I was 20 left the band that same year. I continued my career, went global, got so many awards and then I retired. I started working with my brother, I’m the director of the entertainment section of the company, it’s now my job to raise stars.."

Tang Xue Mei stroked her chin he seemed really happy doing it, why did he suddenly decided to give it all up.

"Did Feng Shihan force you to give it up?"

"No..elder brother Han has always been supportive, if there was something I wanted to learn, he would teach me how to do it. I tell you my brother had a lot of skills, cooking is one of them I bet you don’t know the rest.."

Feng Shiyan words piqued Tang Xue Mei interest and she immediately asked him what some of them were.

"Let me think, he knows how the play the violin, piano, he has a great singing voice but he’ll never sing so don’t bother, trust I’ve tried. He’s good at basketball, he’s good at designing, he decided this neck chain I’m wearing.."

Tang Xue Mei looked at the chain, it’s designs was none like no other and it fitted Feng Shiyan’s personality well.

"My brother is impressive I know but I think the most impressive one here...is you.."

Tang Xue Mei raised her brows, there was nothing impressive about her. She was just a desperate university student who didn’t even mind selling the rest of life to a wealthy man just for power.

"He didn’t marry you because of your face he saw something deeper.."

Tang Xue Mei’s eyes lowered, she also had some skills of her own but not a lot of accomplishments.

"Then why did you suddenly retire? Must have been the best years of your life why did you choose to give it up.."

"Because there are something things we can’t escape, no matter how powerful you are.."

Tang Xue Mei clenched here fists, she was given a second chance and she wasn’t going to lose it. She would use the opportunity she had and soar higher than any other person.

"No! I don’t believe in that it’s foolish to given up on something cause you think you’re not strong enough when you have a brother like Feng Shihan, in a battle field let him be your shield so you can soar higher. If you’re given a opportunity never missue it, some people never get a second chance."

In this life she was planning on doing everything and anything she wanted.

Feng Shihan rubbed his temples and placed the Tangbao on the table.

He had heard the whole conversation, he knew the person Feng Shiyan was talking about. It was their grandfather and he had strongly disapproved of Feng Shiyan’s being in the entertainment industry in the end he had used his health as a guise to push him out.

"I’m not a god there are some things I can’t do. Feng Shiyan’s situation can only be helped with his own hands. If he doesn’t want to fight then there’s nothing I can do. Feng Shiyan sighed gently couldn’t go back if he wanted, he was already a year later no one would be willing to give him a chance.

Tang Xue Mei stood up wanting to follow Feng Shihan when Feng Shiyan spoke up.

Tang Xue Mei nodded she had noticed it a while ago but she didn’t say anything considering Feng Shihan.

And indeed he had his eyes on Feng Shiyan.

"You don’t need to do that, someone will take care of it. You can take care of me in the bedroom..."

Feng Shihan picked her up princess style and carried her back to the room. Tang Xue Mei protested verbally wanting to be let down.

But Feng Shihan paid a deaf ear and tossed her into the bed when they got to the bedroom.

"You bastard!"

"Now now wifey...you shouldn’t curse too much. You wouldn’t want me to go overboard and miss lectures once again?"

Feng Shihan’s fingers played with her hair as a wicked grin blooming across his lips.

"I have to study for midterms..."
