"Ah, the madams just called. They said they’ll be here to see the twins by noon," Auntie Gu said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Would you be heading to the company, young master?" she asked, glancing at Feng Shihan.

"Yes... I suppose. I’ll be there for a short while and be home as soon as I can. CEO’s sadly doesn’t get paternity leave and Shiyan has been helping me these past few months."

Auntie Gu nodded knowingly. "Don’t worry I’ll take good care of the young madam and the twins while you’re away."

Feng Shihan smiled, glancing down at the twins. " I have no doubt you would auntie Gu and these little ones are already taking priority over everything else."

Just then, Shenhua let out a soft coo, and Shenmei followed suit, their tiny voices adding to the lively atmosphere of the kitchen.

"Looks like they’re ready to charm the madams," Auntie Gu said, gently bouncing Shenmei.

Feng Shihan chuckled. "Just what we need—more attention for our tiny tyrants."

"They may be tiny, but their presence is anything but small," Auntie Gu replied with a wink.

"Neither is their voices.." Shihan muttered smiling at his little tyrants.

As the morning wore on, Feng Shihan managed to grab a quick cup of coffee while keeping one eye on the twins, who were now wide awake and wiggling in Auntie Gu’s arms.

"Do you think they’ll be this energetic when they meet their grandmas? I’ve already received a message from my mum twice now.." he asked, smirking.

"Oh, I have no doubt they’ll steal the show, well that’s if they’re not asleep haha," Auntie Gu laughed.

"You all say they resemble me but when I look at them, all I see is Mini version of Xue Mei," Feng Shihan smiled his eyes on the twins, if it was possible, he love could literally pour out from his eyes.

Auntie Gu shook her head, her laughter filling the kitchen. "You both brought joy into this home, young master. And maybe when Shenmei gets older she’ll grow to look more like the young madam"

"I’d love that but I’ll love it more if she’ll remain daddy’s little girl for a long time" he admitted, watching as Shenmei reached out, grasping at the air, as if trying to pull him closer.

"Looks like someone wants her daddy," Auntie Gu teased.

Feng Shihan chuckled, leaning closer to Shenmei. "Alright, little dumpling, I’m here. Show daddy how adorable you are."

The enticing smell of breakfast wafted through the air, pulling Tang Xue Mei from her slumber. As she made her way downstairs, she couldn’t help but smile at the familiar warmth of home.

"Good morning..." she yawned, settling onto a counter stool. Her eyes brightened as Auntie Gu placed a plate of eggs and bacon in front of her.

"Good morning, young madam! Did you sleep well?" Auntie Gu asked, her voice cheerful. "You can’t have coffee yet, so here’s some warm milk instead."

Tang Xue Mei took the warm mug, grateful for the thoughtful gesture. "Thank you, Auntie Gu. This looks delicious!" She took a sip, savoring the comforting flavor.

Just then, Feng Shihan appeared at the top of the stairs. "I’m heading out soon," he called down, giving Tang Xue Mei a quick smile before heading to their room.

"Make sure to take care of yourself!" she shouted back, though her voice was still thick with sleep.

"I will try not to pass out!" He replied with a chuckled as he finally got into the room.

Auntie Gu chuckled, watching Tang Xue Mei as she dug into her breakfast. "He’s like a whirlwind in the morning, isn’t he?"

"He really is," Tang Xue Mei agreed, laughing softly. "But I can’t blame him. It’s been a wild few days."

Moments later, Feng Shihan reappeared, dressed in a crisp tailored sky blue suit, looking every bit of the CEO he was. "How do I look?" he asked, giving her a charming smile.

"Very handsome, I’m almost jealous of the ladies that are going to see this handsome face except for me.."

"I’ll make sure no woman sees my face except you, it’s very exclusive after all it’s for my wife alone to see.."

Tang Xue Mei smiled, giving Feng Shihan several kisses on the cheeks, obvious that his reply had made her happy.

Feng Shihan laughed. "Little dumpling, little melon, don’t stress your mama too much.." bending down to give them both kisses on their cheeks. "I’ll be back as soon as I can. Just remember to take it easy today."

"I will," she promised, feeling the support of her husband bolster her spirits.

As he headed toward the door, Auntie Gu called after him, "Young master, don’t forget the madams said they’ll be here by noon to see the twins!"

"Thanks, Auntie Gu! I’ll wrap things up as quickly as I can though I’m not sure I’ll be able to make it back on time. I’m sure they just want to see the twins" he replied, giving a quick wave before stepping outside.

As Tang Xue Mei finished her breakfast, the sound of footsteps echoed down the stairs. An Yu appeared first, dressed casually but looking sharp. He held Leia gently, who was all smiles, her excitement palpable.

"Good morning, everyone!" Leia chirped as they entered the kitchen, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I’m ready to finally get this cast off! An Yu is being such a sweetheart, taking me to the hospital."

Tang Xue Mei smiled at them both. "That’s great! You must be looking forward to it, Leia. How’s the leg feeling?"

"It’s itching like crazy, but I’m just excited to be free!" Leia replied, bouncing on her toes. "And An Yu, bless his heart, has been so patient with me through this whole process. What would I do without him."

"Haha he’s my bodyguard but it feels like he’s your’s now.."

An Yu nodded, a faint smile on his lips as he poured Leia a glass of water, staying mostly silent and helped her into the chair.
