The mansion loomed in the distance, a stark contrast to the chaos that had just unfolded. Feng Shihan’s heart pounded with a mixture of relief and a lingering tension. The confrontation with Ye Chen Ling had dredged up memories he had long buried, and her words still echoed in his mind.

He disembarked from the helicopter, his team following closely behind. As he stepped into the grand foyer of the mansion, he was greeted by Tang Can, Su Huiying, and Feng Shiyan, who immediately enveloped him in a tight hug.

"Are you alright? That woman is crazy!" Tang Can asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Feng Shihan nodded, his expression softening. "I’m fine. It’s over, for now."

Next, Tang Xue Mei rushed to him, her eyes filled with worry and relief. She hugged him tightly, her arms trembling. "I was so worried about you."

Feng Shihan hugged her back, his voice gentle. "I’m here, Xue Mei. It’s over. How are you have you eaten? Your eyes are swollen."

Feng Shihan stroked her eyes gently, he could see just how tired she was, he would let her rest today and take care of her things tonight.

Finally, his mother approached, her eyes brimming with tears. She wrapped him in a warm embrace. "Thank God you’re safe."

Feng Shihan held her close, feeling the weight of the day’s events begin to lift from his shoulders. "I’m safe, Mum."

Tang Xue Mei glanced around, noticing the absence of Ye Chen Ling. "What happened to her?"

"She’s been taken into custody, don’t worry this will be the last you’ll hear of her," Feng Shihan replied, his tone firm.

Feng Shihan smiled, the weight on his shoulders feeling a little lighter. "But for now, let’s take a moment to breathe."

The quiet moment only lasted for moments when a sudden sharp cry from inside the mansion. Feng Shihan and Tang Xue Mei turned quickly, their eyes wide with alarm.

"It’s Can!" Tang Xue Mei exclaimed, rushing back inside with Feng Shihan close behind.

They found Tang Can doubled over, clutching her abdomen, her face contorted in pain. Tang Xue Mei and Feng Shiyan were already by her side, trying to comfort her.

"It’s the baby," Tang Xue Mei said, her voice trembling. "She’s going into labor."

Immediately, Su Huiying and Xia Yuya took charge. "Someone, get the car ready. Xue Mei, order a premade hospital bag, we need one if we’re going to the hospital. Madam Xia, help me support her."

With swift coordination, they gently helped Tang Can to her feet and made their way to the car. Feng Shiyan supported her on one side, while Xia Yuya took the other, ensuring she was as comfortable as possible.

The ride to the hospital was tense, filled with the sounds of Tang Can’s labored breathing and the occasional soothing words from Su Huiying and Tang Xue Mei.

"We can get the bag at Xiao lane, it’s just before the hospital.."

Tang Xue Mei said and turned to Feng Shihan.

"Give me your phone, let’s call He Xui Cai."

They arrived at the hospital, and medical staff quickly took over, whisking Tang Can into the maternity ward. Tang Xue Mei, Su Huiying, and Xia Yuya followed closely, their hearts pounding with worry and anticipation.

Hours seemed to drag by as they waited in the sterile, white corridors of the hospital. Tang Xue Mei pacing restlessly, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts. Feng Shihan tried to offer comfort, but she too anxious. Xia Yuya and Su Huiying, though calm, exchanged worried glances as they coordinated with the medical staff.

"Xue Mei, calm down she’ll be okay. I’ve called He Xui Cai he’s on his way. He’s out of the country right now so he might take some time.."

Finally, a doctor emerged from the delivery room, a reassuring smile on her face. "Mother and baby are both healthy. You can see them now."

Relief washed over them as they were led into the room. Tang Can laid on the hospital bed, looking exhausted, cradling a tiny, swaddled bundle in her arms. Su Huiying stood next to her, her eyes filled with tears of joy.

Qin Mingyue, and Feng Shiyan both smiled their faces filled with happiness.

Tang Xue Mei approached her, his heart swelling with emotion. "How are you feeling, Can?"

Tang Can looked up, a tired but happy smile on her face. "I’m okay. Meet your niece, Mei Mei."

Tang Xue Mei peered down at the tiny face, marveling at the new life before him. "He’s handsome.."

She whispered.

Tang Xue Mei leaned over, tears in her eyes. "Congratulations, Can. He’s perfect."

"And he looks lot like that bastard, He Xui Cai. He’s not hear right now because he was in country S, it’ll take him at least 2 more hours to get here.."

Feng Shihan chuckled, he wondered how excited He Xui Cai would be when he finds out he has a son.

Su Huiying and Xia Yuya exchanged relieved smiles, but thinking back Su Huiying couldnt help but sob lightly.

If only Tang Zijun was here to see this.

As they gathered around Tang Can and the newborn, Xia Yuya broke the momentary silence with a warm smile. "So, have you decided on a name yet?"

Tang Can glanced at the tiny bundle in her arms, her eyes soft with love. "We haven’t decided yet. Do you all have any suggestions?"

Immediately, the room buzzed with excitement as everyone started chipping in with their ideas.

Feng Shihan was the first to speak. "How about Yixuan? It means ’elegant and refined’."

Tang Xue Mei smiled, nodding. "That’s a beautiful name. Or maybe Jaemin? It stands for ’talented and handsome’."

Su Huiying, always thoughtful, added, "What about Hanyu? It signifies ’great’ or ’mighty’. A name with a lot of strength."

Feng Shiyan, standing proudly next to his wife Qin Mingyue, chimed in. "I like the sound of Kai, which means ’victorious’. It feels appropriate given everything we’ve been through."

Qin Mingyue nodded in agreement. "Kai does sound lovely. It brings a sense of triumph and resilience."

Xia Yuya, with a motherly smile, offered her own suggestion. "How about An? It means ’peace’."

Tang Can looked overwhelmed but happy with all the suggestions. She turned to Tang Xue Mei. "What do you think?"

Before they could respond, the door burst open, and a man strode into the room. His suit and hair were a bit damp like had run all the way here. "He Jaehyun, that’s his name," he declared.

Everyone turned in surprise to see He Xui Cai, standing in the doorway, his face flushed with emotion.

Tang Can’s eyes widened, and a smile spread across her face. "You’re here!"

He Xui Cai moved quickly to her side, gazing down at the newborn with a mixture of pride and tenderness. "I wouldn’t miss this for the world," he said softly. "His name is He Jaehyun."

The room fell silent for a moment, absorbing the weight of his words. Then, Tang Xue Mei broke into a warm smile. "Jaehyun is a strong, beautiful name. I think it’s suits him very well."

Feng Shihan nodded in agreement. "He’s going to be a strong kid."

"Alright, Jaehyun it is. Welcome to the family my love, you look so much like your father...it’s annoying at least you have my eyes.."

"I’m very handsome, if he looks like me, he’ll be even more handsome when he grows up.."

"We can call him Jay for short.."

Tang Xue Mei sat down as she relaxed her back, she felt her feet swell due how long she had been standing.

Su Huiying leaned forward. "How are you managing, Xue Mei? Twins can be quite the handful, even before they’re born."

Tang Xue Mei breathed a gentle laugh, her hand caressing her belly. "They keep me on my toes, that’s for sure. But I can’t wait to meet them just 2-3 more weeks."

Feng Shiyan,leaned in. "Have you thought about names? With twins, you have the joy of choosing two."

Feng Shihan smiled at the question, his hand finding Xue Mei’s. "We have," he confirmed. "But it’s been a bit of a challenge to find names that complement each other. I thinking of new names each time."

Qin Mingyue, with a thoughtful nod, suggested, "Perhaps names that are harmonious but still distinct? Each child should have their own identity, after all."
