As they felt the mall, Tang Xue Mei got brushed to the side, she immediately protected her belly as Song Dae-Ju rushed to catch her.

"Are you okay?"

Tang Xue Mei steady herself before turning to the voice.

Her brows furrowed, the beautiful lady in front looked familiar yet not familiar.

"I’m fine thank you.."

"I’m glad you’re okay, sorry for bumping into you.."

Tang Xue Mei waved her hand as she smiled slightly, she thought the woman was familiar but after hearing her voice.

There was no longer any familiarity.

"It’s okay, are you hurt yourself?"

The lady nodded with a subtle smile her eyes staring at Tang Xue Mei’s belly.

This bitch was pregnant huh?

"Well then"

Tang Xue Mei turned to leave when the woman stopped her again.

"I want to work for you, I’ve been fired from my last few jobs. I’ve a maid for some years now but recently I’ve been fired from too many jobs and I need money to take care of my sick mother.."

Tang Xue Mei shook her head, she had a nagging feeling around this woman and she did not want to stay any longer around her not less let her work for her.

"I’m sorry but I don’t have any jobs that require your services..."

Tang Xue Mei wasn’t lying, auntie Gu handled all the house works and it didn’t look like she needed any help.

And if at all she would like to talk with auntie Gu before thinking of hiring any random woman.

"I beg you, just three months, it would be enough for me to save up for my mother’s operation..."

Tang Xue Mei felt uncomfortable being stared at by so many people.

It made her feel a bit nauseous.

"Stop kneeling down, you’re causing a scene.."

The woman chuckled that was exactly what she wanted, with the growing crowd. Tang Xue Mei would be forced to give her a job and then she would ruin her life.

"Song Dae-ju get her contact details, if you pass the test...you’ll receive a call if you didn’t too bad.."

Tang Xue Mei noticed her expression, what exactly did this woman want from her.

Her eyes darkened, she would definitely find out.

After Song Dae-ju collected the woman’s details, they both left.

"Here’s here details..."

"Yang Dakie.."

Dakie? Sounded like her a nickname to her, was Daki the actual name?. Tang Xue Mei thought to herself.

When they returned, Tang Xue Mei told auntie Gu about it, who immediately refused.

"The house might look big but I’m capable of cleaning it by myself..."

"I know you can, but I got a bad premonition about that woman. I can see she had some surgeries on her face judging by how straight her nose is. So she’s definitely not poor but she wants to work as my maid.Don’t you smell a rat...auntie Gu?"

An Yu leaned in, it seems like Tang Xue Mei was luring the rat inside the trap.

"Since she wants to work here so badly let’s give her that job and see what she wants to do. Auntie Gu you can’t be too suspicious around her or she’ll might figure out something is wrong.."

Auntie humphed, she still didn’t like the idea of letting the rat inside the house but what could she do.

"Why don’t we bringing in two more guards?"

Tang Xue Mei said as she turned to An Yu, she wanted to use them as watchers. Keeping an eye out for the rat when it got to places when it places where it cameras couldn’t reach.

"Isn’t she going to suspect?"

"The guards will be maids as well, so no need for suspicions.."

Maids??

An Yu’s lips twitched when he imagined the guards wearing a maid’s outifits.

"I’ll discuss with Ken later about it, but for now let’s go set up the nursery!!"

Tang Xue Mei stood up urging auntie Gu and An Yu to follow her upstairs.

"I’ve been searching for a room to use as nursery, they all look pretty small but I found it, I wonder what Feng Shihan wanted to use the room for. It’s big and spacious, I’m sure we can fit all the things I bought for the nursery in there.."

Auntie Gu nodded she knew the room, Tang Xue Mei was talking about.

She usually cleaned the room, 3 times a week and judging with all the things Tang Xue Mei bought.

They should fit in nicely.

"Auntie Gu you have to see these cute baby baths.They’re bear themed and it’s so cute!"

Tang Xue Mei opened the door, smiling happily, she had asked them to move the things here a while back.

And now she was ready to arrange the room!

"Where should we start?"

"I’ll say let’s start with the cribs, we need to set them up first. And we’ll need a bigger rug, one that would covered the entire room. Nursery needs to be baby proof, we’ll also have to baby proof the house when the time comes"

Tang Xue Mei nodded she guessed the rugs she bought were too small, she would need to buy a white one to fit the theme of the room.

"I’ll go order it and get Leia to help us as well.."

She couldn’t go back to the store, so she would just order from that same store online.

Tang Xue Mei didn’t search for long until she found the one she liked.

"Auntie Gu what do you think of this one, it’s callled a cloud rug, it’s very soft and very baby proof.."

"It also looks small, how wide is it?"

Auntie Gu asked as An Yu placed the cribs in front of her.

"It’s about 12x15 and they have another of 12x18 feet. What’s the width of this room?"

They all paused and did a quick calculation.

"About 15-18 feet in lenght and 12-15 feet in width.."

They all nodded and the first rug size was 12x15 so it was the correct size.

An Yu later confirmed it with a measuring tape.

"I’ve ordered, it will be here any minute now?"

Tang Xue Mei walked the door, she wasn’t any seats in the room and she was already getting tired of standing.

"I know I ate back in the mall but I’m crazing some chow mein. So I’ll go make some, you and auntie Gu can get things started here.."

"No worries, I’ve been a while since I’ve set up a nursery. You go get some rest..."

Tang Xue Mei made a heart sign, what would she do without auntie Gu.

"You’re the best ^^"

Knocking on Leia’s door, Tang Xue Mei slowly peeped inside.

"Leia you in here?"

"Yes, just took a shower... what’sup?"

"Can you help me make chow mein? And also help us design the nursery."

"Ah so that was what all the hullabaloo was about. I managed to sneak a peak at some of the things. It’s cute, mama bear and her cute baby bears.."

Leia chuckled as she began to prepare the ingredients for the Chow Mein. She started by chopping a bunch of fresh scallions, the crunch of the knife slicing through the crisp greens filling the air. Next, she moved on to the vegetables, expertly slicing carrots and bell peppers into thin strips.

"They have so many different themes at the store, I didn’t know which to pick but when I thought one of the bear themed onesie. It felt as though I was touching actual fur, it was so soft so I decided bear it is.."

Leia smile as she moved the frying pan heated up on the stovetop, she added a drizzle of oil, the sizzle and aroma of the oil filling the air as it reached the perfect temperature. She then added the sliced meat, cooking it until it was browned and crispy before adding the chopped scallions and vegetables.

The sizzle and crackle of the ingredients in the frying pan was like music to Tang Xue Mei’s ears, her stomach growling in anticipation as the aromas wafted through the air. Leia then added the noodles, stir-frying everything together with a practiced ease.

Leia added a sprinkle of soy sauce and a pinch of salt, the flavors melding together in perfect harmony.

Finally, she served the Chow Mein steaming hot, the noodles perfectly cooked and the vegetables still crisp. Tang Xue Mei couldn’t wait to dig in
