"No funny business okay? I’m sure Feng Shihan has already lectured you so I’m not going to say much.."

Tang Xue Mei smiled and nodded as they walked out of the door.

"Drive safely.."

"We will.."

Tang Xue Mei sat down as she poured another glass of water.

"Everything will be just fine.."

Later that night Tang Xue Mei lay on her bed, her phone pressed against her ear.

"What’s the situation Ken?"she said, her voice soft and casual.

"How’s everything going with my mother’s situation?" she asked, her voice still soft.

Ken’s response was reassuring. "Everything is going smoothly, young madam. Your mother is safe and sound in the Faroe Islands. The bodyguards are doing a great job of keeping her protected. She’s still in the boss’s condo so the security there is top notch."

Tang Xue Mei nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that her mother was in good hands and that Ken was keeping a close eye on things.

"And the investigation? My mother can only stay overseas for so long..."

Ken sighed he had tried several ways but it always ended up pointing towards her mother.

He was almost beginning to believe she was the culprit.
