Chapter 107: Bonus Chapter (2) special

The golden glow of the setting sun cast long shadows across the terrace, the gentle murmur of the sea below providing a soothing backdrop to the luxurious villa. Tang Xue Mei stood by the railing, the salty breeze caressing her skin as she took in the breathtaking view.

Strong arms wrapped around her waist from behind, and she instinctively leaned into the warmth of Feng Shihan’s embrace. His lips brushed against the shell of her ear, his voice husky and low.

"Enjoying the view?"

She turned slightly, glancing up at him with a teasing smile. "It’s beautiful... but I think I like the one behind me better."

A deep chuckle rumbled in his chest. "Good answer."

His lips found the sensitive spot just below her ear, sending a shiver down her spine. The way he touched her—possessive yet tender—set her heart racing.

"Dinner reservations can wait," he murmured, his fingers tracing slow, deliberate patterns over the curve of her hip.

Xue Mei barely had time to respond before he spun her around, lifting her onto the edge of the marble railing. She gasped, her hands clutching at his shirt, but he steadied her effortlessly, his dark eyes filled with heated intent.

"You trust me, don’t you?"

She swallowed hard, nodding. "Always."

A satisfied smirk played on his lips before he captured her mouth in a deep, searing kiss. His hands roamed over her body, fingers slipping beneath the thin fabric of her dress. The warmth of his touch ignited a fire in her core, and when his lips left hers, trailing down her neck, she arched into him with a soft sigh.

The cool evening air was a stark contrast to the heat building between them. The world faded away—the stunning view, the distant sound of waves—all that existed was the way he touched her, the way he made her feel utterly consumed by his presence.

Much later, as they lay tangled together in the dim light of their suite, Xue Mei traced idle patterns on his bare chest. "That was... definitely unforgettable," she murmured, still breathless.

Feng Shihan smirked, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "And the night is still young."

She laughed, resting her head against his shoulder. "If this is how you plan surprises, I might let you take me on mystery trips more often."

His fingers tilted her chin up, his expression suddenly serious. "Then let’s make this a tradition."

Xue Mei met his gaze, her heart swelling at the depth of emotion in his eyes. "I’d like that."

The night stretched on, but neither of them felt the need for sleep. Wrapped in the sheets, their bodies entwined, Xue Mei traced her fingers along Feng Shihan’s toned abdomen, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breathing.

"You’re staring," he murmured, his voice thick with amusement.

"I like looking at you," she admitted without hesitation. "You’re beautiful."

His lips curled into a smirk as he rolled them over, pinning her beneath him. "I should be the one saying that."

She shivered as his fingers traced down her side, setting her skin ablaze with anticipation. His gaze darkened with intent, and just as he was about to lower his lips to hers, her stomach let out a loud, undeniable growl.

Feng Shihan stilled, then burst into laughter. "I guess I’ve been distracting you too much," he said, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Come on, let’s get you fed."

Xue Mei groaned, covering her face. "Way to ruin the mood."

He chuckled, slipping out of bed and pulling on his slacks. "I’d rather ruin the mood than let my wife starve. Get dressed, we’re going out."

Reluctantly, she slid out of bed and pulled on a silk robe before heading to the bathroom to freshen up. By the time she returned, he was already dressed in a crisp white shirt and dark trousers, effortlessly handsome as always.

They made their way down to the private restaurant at the villa, where a candlelit table had been set up on the terrace overlooking the sea. A cool breeze carried the scent of the ocean, and the stars above twinkled brightly, casting an ethereal glow over everything.

The chef personally greeted them and presented a lavish spread—grilled seafood, handmade pasta, fresh bread still warm from the oven, and a chilled bottle of wine.

Xue Mei’s eyes widened at the feast before her. "You planned this, didn’t you?"

Feng Shihan poured them each a glass of wine, his expression smug. "I told you, I have the whole weekend planned."

She took a sip, savoring the rich taste. "You’re spoiling me."

He leaned in, his gaze locking with hers. "That’s the plan."

They ate slowly, taking their time to enjoy both the food and each other’s company. Laughter and soft conversation filled the air as they shared stories and memories, completely lost in their own world.

At one point, Feng Shihan reached across the table, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Do you know how much I love you?" he asked, his voice low and filled with raw emotion.

Xue Mei felt her heart squeeze at the sincerity in his tone. "I do," she whispered. "Because I love you just as much."

The warm Mediterranean breeze swept through the open balcony doors as Feng Shihan pulled Tang Xue Mei back into his arms the moment they stepped into their villa. His lips found hers before she could utter another word, slow and deep, tasting of the wine they’d shared at dinner.

She melted against him, her hands gripping the front of his shirt as he pressed her against the wall, one hand slipping to her waist while the other tilted her chin up to deepen the kiss. His touch was possessive, demanding, yet full of the tenderness that made her heart race.

"You’re insatiable," she murmured breathlessly when he finally pulled away, his forehead resting against hers.

"You say that like you’re any different," he teased, smirking as his fingers traced slow circles against the small of her back. "Or do I need to remind you how you were looking at me across the dinner table?"

Heat rushed to her cheeks. She had been staring. She always did. How could she not when he looked at her like she was the only woman in the world?

"Maybe I was just admiring my handsome husband," she countered, reaching up to loosen the top button of his shirt.

Feng Shihan chuckled, his voice low and husky. "I like the sound of that."

Before she could reply, he scooped her up in one swift motion, carrying her toward the bed. She laughed in surprise, arms looping around his neck. "You could’ve at least warned me."

"And miss the chance to hear you squeal?" He raised a brow, amusement dancing in his dark eyes. "Not a chance."

Xue Mei swatted his chest, but the moment he set her down on the plush bed, any witty retort she had vanished. He stood at the edge, watching her with that intense gaze that always made her stomach flutter.

"You’re staring," she pointed out, echoing his words from earlier.

"I like looking at you," he said, his voice a shade deeper, sending shivers down her spine.

She barely had time to catch her breath before he was on top of her, capturing her lips in another searing kiss.

The next morning, sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a golden glow over their tangled bodies. Xue Mei stirred first, groggy but completely content, her fingers tracing lazy patterns across Shihan’s bare chest.

He hummed in response, eyes still closed. "You’re awake early."

"So are you," she countered, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. "Didn’t you say we had a full weekend planned?"

He opened one eye, smirking. "I did. But I didn’t say when we had to start."

She rolled her eyes and made a move to get up, but he pulled her back down, trapping her against his warmth.

"Shihan," she protested, laughing. "We can’t stay in bed all day."

"Why not?" he murmured against her neck, his lips tracing over her pulse point. "I’m comfortable."

Xue Mei sighed, torn between wanting to indulge in his laziness and her growing excitement for the day ahead. "Fine," she relented, snuggling into him for a few more moments before pulling away. "But if we waste too much time, you’ll have to make it up to me."

Feng Shihan smirked. "I’ll make it up to you regardless."

She shook her head at his shamelessness and got up, stretching before heading to the bathroom. By the time she emerged, freshly showered and dressed in a flowy sundress, he was already waiting for her with a knowing look.

"Ready for adventure?" he asked, taking her hand.

"Always," she replied, letting him lead her out.

Their first stop was a private yacht waiting at the marina. The deep blue waters shimmered under the morning sun as they set sail, the salty breeze playing with Xue Mei’s hair as she stood at the bow, taking in the breathtaking coastline.

"This is incredible," she breathed, watching the cliffs rise dramatically from the sea. "It feels unreal."

Feng Shihan came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Everything feels unreal when I’m with you," he murmured against her ear.

Her heart swelled at his words, and she turned in his embrace, resting her forehead against his. "You’re getting better at saying sweet things."

"I’ve had plenty of practice," he admitted.
