My Dad is Too Strong -
Chapter 130
Chapter 130
Thursday, 7 AM.
Do-Jun had the day off today. Although it wasn’t an official holiday, he had taken a compensatory day off after his recent unending tasks.
He looked at the children sleeping soundly, nestled against him, before closing his eyes again.
Somehow, Byeol had climbed onto his chest, clinging to him tightly. Yoon-Hee hugged his left arm as a body pillow, occasionally mumbling in her sleep. Yong-Yong lay curled up in a ball by his feet, peacefully dozing. As for Karsiel, she had made a cozy bed out of the fluffy rug on the floor, sleeping soundly.
Do-Jun considered just sleeping in a little longer like this since he didn’t have work, but he quickly decided to get up. The biggest challenge was moving carefully as he didn’t want to wake the children.
He started with Yoon-Hee. Slowly, he moved his arm until he finally freed it. Though her brow furrowed momentarily, she didn’t wake up. Next was Byeol’s turn. He gently lifted her and placed her near Yoon-Hee. With this much done, the mission was practically complete.
The final challenge was Yong-Yong, though this didn’t require much effort. Do-Jun sat up, grabbed Yong-Yong by his feet, and casually tossed him aside.

Do-Jun glanced at a blog post displayed on his smartphone screen. Today, he planned to make breakfast for everyone—tomato and egg stir-fry, a dish a female coworker in his department had raved about as a quick and delicious meal for busy mornings.
A soft hum resonated as internal energy flowed from Do-Jun’s hands. Three tomatoes drifted out of the fridge, landing gently on the cutting board. He paused as he prepared to cut them into bite-sized pieces using his internal energy.
His eyes darted to the phone screen, noticing a part of the blog post.
“A quick and simple meal for busy mornings.
“It might be my mother’s touch, but my kids loved it.
“Cooking is all about the love in your hands~ ^^”
Do-Jun withdrew his internal energy, opened a drawer, and pulled out a kitchen knife, opting to chop the tomatoes by hand. After dicing the tomatoes, he tossed them into a frying pan with olive oil and stir-fried them. Then, he cracked some eggs into the pan and mixed them together.
When the stir-fry was done, he transferred it to a plate and placed it on the dining table.
Turning to the kitchen corner, he saw Yong-Yong staring at the food. Even though the bedroom door had been closed, the enticing aroma had wafted inside.
“Tis a pleasant morning, Master,” Yong-Yong greeted.
Do-Jun chuckled and gestured toward the bedroom, saying, “Wake Yoon-Hee. She needs to get ready for school.”
Yong-Yong tilted his head, puzzled. Preparing breakfast had always been Yoon-Hee’s job.
As he processed Do-Jun’s words—get ready for school—a sly grin spread across Yong-Yong’s face.
“Yippee!” With that, he dashed toward the bedroom.
“Why is he excited...?” Do-Jun muttered as he started preparing a fruit smoothie to accompany the stir-fry.
“Wake up!” Yong-Yong climbed onto Yoon-Hee’s stomach and shook her awake.
The weight pressing on her stomach caused her to stir and slowly open her eyes. She reached for her smartphone to check the time—it was ten minutes before her alarm was set to go off.
“Yong-Yong, you’re up unusually early. What’s going on?” she asked.
“Master said to wake you up.”
“Father did?”
Come to think of it, her father was nowhere to be seen. He should have been sleeping beside her.
“Yeah. He said we’re going to school together.”
“Together?”
“That’s what he said,” Yong-Yong said happily.
Yoon-Hee wondered if Yong-Yong had misheard. Today was Thursday—a workday for Do-Jun. Besides, he hadn’t mentioned anything last night.
She heard the sound of the blender coming from the kitchen. Do-Jun was blending bananas, milk, and honey to make a banana smoothie, something he occasionally prepared for Byeol.
Seeing the breakfast spread on the table, Yoon-Hee’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Father, what’s all this?”
“You’re up? Eat and get ready for school.”
She sat down at the table, drawn by the aroma of the food. Taking a bite with her fork, she looked up at him in amazement.
“This is good!” she exclaimed.
“Glad you like it.”
“By the way, are you actually coming to school with me?”
As Do-Jun was about to say “No,” he noticed Yong-Yong excitedly wagging his tail with a broad smile on his face. Even Yoon-Hee had a faint smile on her lips.
Do-Jun sighed. At this point, it felt awkward to deny it.
I guess I could drop by for the morning, he thought, planning to return home by the time Karsiel and Byeol woke up.

The National Hunter Academy grounds were larger than most universities, spanning over a whopping eighty-two acres.
Do-Jun waved as Yoon-Hee entered the freshman annex building.
“Have a good day in class,” he said.
“Okay! What are your plans, Father?”
“I’ll just look around.”
A short while later, he got off a shuttle bus that operated within the campus. The academy grounds, being overly vast, had a free transportation service. He and Yong-Yong disembarked in front of the main athletic field.
“One Americano, please,” Do-Jun ordered from a nearby café.
The academy had everything: coffee shops, banks, restaurants, bookstores, and even a grocery store for dorm residents to buy necessities.
“You want something too?” Do-Jun asked Yong-Yong.
“I’ll have what you’re having, Master!”
“You sure about that?”
Do-Jun chuckled as Yong-Yong tilted his head before enthusiastically nodding.
Even though he had no idea what this “Americano” was, he thought that it would be just like any other drink he enjoyed. Receiving his Americano, Yong-Yong eagerly took a sip, hoping it would be a sugary drink.
“Blegh!”
Do-Jun stifled a laugh, having expected this reaction.
***
A practical training session was underway at the athletic field.
Interestingly, the class was small, with fewer than ten students, each accompanied by a monster. Every student had a white bracelet on their wrist—an artifact Do-Jun recognized as “Control Bracelets,” essential for taming-type Hunters to manage their monsters.
He recalled that each bracelet cost over 500 million won.
Do-Jun sat on a bench shaded by a tree. Although he wasn’t particularly affected by the heat, there was no need to expose himself to direct sunlight unnecessarily.
The instructor, standing before the students, suddenly focused his gaze on Do-Jun. Their eyes met and held for an unusually long time. Then, the instructor raised his hand, gesturing for Do-Jun to come over.
Is he waving at... me? Do-Jun stayed seated, ignoring the gesture.
The instructor approached, prompting Yong-Yong to rise from the bench and growl softly.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I thought you were one of my students,” he apologized, realizing that he had mistaken Do-Jun for a student.
Instructor Choi Ik-Hyun bowed slightly. An active A-rank Hunter until last year and one of the top-ranked Tamers, he now worked as an instructor at the Academy. Noticing Yong-Yong eyeing him warily, Choi Ik-Hyun glanced at Do-Jun’s wrist to confirm he wasn’t wearing a Control Bracelet.
“Are you a Hunter?” Choi Ik-Hyun asked.
“No, I’m a civil servant.”
“Oh? Then, this monster...”
“He’s my pet.”
Setting aside the question of why a civil servant was at the Academy during work hours, Choi Ik-Hyun was puzzled by the idea of an Awakened individual working as a civil servant while looking at Yong-Yong curiously.
Yong-Yong growled again.
“Quiet,” Do-Jun said with a stern look, taking a sip of his Americano, casually silencing Yong-Yong.
“Yes, Master.” Yong-Yong also obediently complied. Defying Do-Jun was simply unthinkable for him.
“W-wait, this monster just talked. Do you have an interpretation skill?” Choi Ik-Hyun asked, shocked.
A Tamer’s interpretation skill was considered a rare “blessing” among awakened skills.
“What’s he on about?” Yong-Yong muttered.
Choi Ik-Hyun was stunned again. It wasn’t just the talking—it was the precision of Yong-Yong’s speech. Even with an interpretation skill, such fluency was nearly impossible.
“W-what kind of monster is this?” he asked, his voice trembling slightly.
***
After a brief commotion, Choi Ik-Hyun returned to his class and resumed the lesson.
He glanced at Do-Jun, who was lying on a bench, napping. Then, his gaze shifted to the mysterious creature called “Yong-Yong,” which was staring at him and wagging its tail, observing the scene unfold while nestled between the students and monsters.
He can keep it under control even while sleeping...? Choi Ik-Hyun marvelled inwardly.
It was truly remarkable. Normally, when a Hunter tamed a monster, they had to constantly interact with it to maintain their influence over it. If the interaction ceased, the monster would regain its natural temperament and revert to its wild instincts. Naturally, Choi Ik-Hyun assumed that Do-Jun was keeping Yong-Yong “under control.”
Choi Ik-Hyun began the lesson. “Alright. As I mentioned earlier, today we’ll be checking the skills of the monsters you’re taming. We’ll determine if they have skills, how many, and their ranks. If you want to know the exact effects of the skills, you’ll need to visit the Hunter’s Bureau for further analysis.”
First up was a second-year student from Class C who was taming an Orc Warrior, a C-rank monster. However, it was larger than a typical Orc Warrior, and its equipment was noticeably high-end, thanks to the student’s efforts to level it up and upgrade its gear.
Choi Ik-Hyun held a portable measuring device up to the Orc Warrior. The screen displayed “Analyzing...” for about five minutes before the results appeared.
[Measurement Results]
E: 2
D: 1
“Wow!” The student cheered at the result. A new D-rank skill had been unlocked. Other students around them expressed their envy and congratulated the student.
And so, after an hour, the measurements for all the students’ monsters were completed. Forty percent of the monsters had unlocked new skills, a testament to the students’ efforts over the past few months.
As Yong-Yong watched from the corner, he couldn't help but let out a bored yawn.
Choi Ik-Hyun approached him with a grin, holding out the measuring device. “Do you want to give it a try?”
The students’ attention immediately shifted to Yong-Yong. After all, it wasn’t every day they encountered a fascinating talking monster.
“Why not?” Yong-Yong said.
With a beeping sound, the device started analyzing his skills.
As the results were being processed, Yong-Yong turned toward the bench. Having rested enough, Do-Jun was signaling to Yong-Yong from the ground’s exit, gesturing that he wanted to leave.
“Gotta go.” With that, Yong-Yong ran toward Do-Jun without even glancing at the measuring device, completely uninterested in the results.
“Ah, w-wait a moment...” Choi Ik-Hyun tried to stop them as the result was being printed on the screen.
He scratched his head as he watched Yong-Yong and Do-Jun disappear into the distance. “I guess they don’t really care about the result.”
Then, as he stared at the measurement results, his eyes widened in disbelief.
“W-what is this?”
***
Back home, even though it was past eleven in the morning, Do-Jun found Karsiel and Byeol still fast asleep on the bed, probably because they had read storybooks late into the night.
“Hm, what should I make for lunch?”
He walked to the kitchen, feeling a bit lazy at the thought of cooking again. That’s when his eyes fell on the delivery menu stickers stuck to the fridge. They were from the restaurants his past self frequently ordered from before going to the Central Plains.
“Should I just order in?”
Since returning from the Central Plains, this would be the first time he had food delivered to his home. Yong-Yong had likely never experienced it either.
“Masteeeer!” Yong-Yong came running with something in his mouth. It was a coupon from a chicken restaurant. Not just one, but nine of them. “Please consider ordering from this place.”
Do-Jun glanced at Yong-Yong and then at the coupon, which read, “Collect ten coupons to receive one free chicken.”
