My CEO Boss Is A Masked Internet Sensation
Chapter 237: Who Is Twisted Rider?

Chapter 237: Who Is Twisted Rider?

(Zaylen)

Stella plugged the USB device into her tablet and clicked it open.

I stood behind her, with my arms crossed on my chest. My feet wouldn’t even remain stable as they itched.

Uncle Kail had gone to inform Dad, while I remained with Stella to unearth what clues Arata had left us.

Stella opened the folder and we found several pictures, voice notes and videos. She breathed out aloud and clicked on the first one.

My eyes narrowed as I leaned down to watch from behind Stella’s shoulder.

A picture of a hideous mask, which seemed to have come straight from the depths of hell, stared at us.

"What in the hell is that?" I asked, but Stella stayed quiet and clicked on the next picture. This was another mask, a little less grotesque, but it seemed to belong to those stupid videos of men on social media, who hid their faces and exposed their bodies.

This time Stella breathed in sharply, and I understood she knew something.

The next was a voice note, and Stella awkwardly hit play.

Instantly, I recognised my sister’s voice.

Shifting my weight between my feet, I listened. Arata began to speak heavily, as if afraid.

[Karsten is Twisted Rider and also my stalker. I found both these masks in his closet. One was worn by Twisted Rider in his last video, and the other by my stalker. I am sharing both videos with you guys. If anything happens to me, he is the man to capture.]

Stella clamped her mouth shut in horror and almost dropped the tablet.

I blinked, not sure if to be relieved or utterly disgusted that the man she was working for had turned out to be her tormentor.

But who was Twister Rider?

"That son of a bitch. I knew it," Stella stood up from the sofa, upset, tears brimming in her eyes as she turned to face me.

She was talking about Karsten, or did she know the other name?

Her eyes finally met mine, and I asked grimly, trying to contain the rage threatening to spill out.

"Who is Twisted Rider?"

Stella hesitated; I could sense from how she gulped and her lips twitched.

She knew him.

"It’s just a social media persona, Arata and I used to follow. Seems like his real face is Karsten."

My jaw locked at the revelation, and I urged her to watch everything in there before we took it to Dad and involved the police.

More horrifying and chilling voice notes and videos had been left by Arata for us. Every single text her stalker, aka Karsten, had sent her was stored there.

Chilling audio messages of how he was going to enjoy abducting her, then killing her.

It sickened me down to my core.

She also informed us that there was a hidden room in Karsten’s villa which could only be opened with a code. She was unaware of what lay behind the door, but both Stella and I could guess that it had to be his secret lair.

Potentially, it could be where he was keeping Arata.

We had to be quick before he did something to her.

The thought of how he had stood in front of us and lied made me want to rip his head off his shoulders.

Was my sister locked up in his basement while we stood right above it?

Did he believe his Mafia background made him invincible?

"I am taking this to Dad and then to the Police." I extended my hand, and Stella quietly placed the tablet on my outstretched hand.

Dad was done with the police by the time we reached his room. Seemed like they had narrowed down the suspects from his past.

Seeing our sullen faces, he understood we had unearthed something crucial.

"What did you guys find?" He abruptly asked and I unwillingly handed him the tablet. Stella uncomfortably shifted beside me, knowing she would have to explain about the Twisted Rider.

Dad steadied himself, trying to mask the emotions flowing freely on his face as he began to unravel everything Arata had left for us.

With every revelation, his face hardened.

Finally he lifted his head and stared at us with an unimaginable amount of pain nestled there.

"I never trusted Karsten, but this just proved what I had been dreading all along." His stormy eyes wavered between Stella and I. We knew Karsten was fucked.

"Who is Twisted Rider? Any ideas?" He questioned.

She lowered her head and ashamedly answered him.

"He is a famous internet celebrity who wears a mask and makes some videos."

"What kind of videos?" Dad questioned, and Stella’s ear tips crimsoned.

"Like the ones that make people drool over him," Stella chose her words very carefully and replied in a small voice. Looking anywhere but at Dad.

He used his free hand to frustratedly rub over his slightly stubbled face.

"Stella, be truthful with me." He then stared her dead in the eyes. "Was Arata seeing him?"

I could sense Stella’s reluctance, she didn’t wish to betray Arata but then this was a life and death situation. If we wanted to find her, we needed to know the enemy and how he operated.

She slowly and sadly nodded her head. "I guess so, but I don’t know any details."

Dad closed his eyes for a second to contain the rage that must have been wrecking his heart. I knew he was disappointed but more importantly he felt like he didn’t know Arata anymore.

She never hid anything from us and here was a whole Pandora’s box we had opened with her USB.

He finally opened his eyes and fixed his gaze on me.

"Zaylen, we are handing this over to the police. They need to arrest him as soon as possible and before he does anything to my daughter. Call them."

I nodded and extracted my phone. Dad shared the number the detective had left with him.

’Arata, hang tight. We are coming to get you.’

The thought made some tension leave my shoulders.
