My Blacksmith System: Transforming my Weapons into Beautiful Maidens -
Chapter 38: The Queen rank.
Chapter 38: The Queen rank.
((Back at the village.)
Fina stood in front of her mistress’s door, hesitant to knock.
In her hands was a small box, wrapped with red clothing and a small talisman at the top.
Something she was quite familiar with.
Steeling herself, Fina decided to knock.
Bang! Bang!
Her knuckles hit the wooden door.
"Mistress, I came as you requested."
Almost immediately, a voice spoke back to her...
"You may come in."
Fina gulped down her saliva before walking through the door.
Arriving inside, she closed the door and placed the box on the bed.
It wasn’t hard to miss the blood staining the white bedspread and the recently used table knife with blood stains on it.
Meanwhile, Seriphina sat close to the wall, her right hand completely covered with the black energy she had been trying to contain.
The right side of her face looked different, as if burnt from the inside out, and her eyes—her eyes were beautiful yet carried the vision of a monster.
Fina looked at her master for a while.
"Shall we begin before it gets any worse?"
"Yeah."
Seriphina barely managed to stand to her feet, crawling her way toward the center of the room, where she ended up lying down with her stomach facing the ceiling.
Even as her arm was on the ground, the dark energy kept on growing, eating away at the floor.
Fina began her part of the work. She knelt beside her mistress and opened the box to pull out multiple long pins, each the same length as a middle finger.
Calmly, she began to sink the pins into different parts of Seriphina’s body—her arm, her forehead, her feet, and so on.
All Seriphina could do was lie there, waiting for every pin to puncture her body.
"F-ina," she uttered, her voice already sounding distorted.
"Yes, Mistress." Fina forced a smile, unable to look Seriphina in the face.
"W...why... ha...sn’t t...he priest... shown up yet?"
Fina paused, her fingers shaking as she thought of an answer.
"The priest couldn’t fix it, Mistress, but don’t worry. The former mistress said to have patience. There’s someone out there that can fix it."
Seriphina gave a small smile.
"You speak, but I can tell you yourself do not believe that."
She closed her eyes. "Let’s... get this... over with."
Fina hesitated for a while, her fingers wrapping around the hilt of the knife.
Picking it up, she slightly raised it, her eyes widening with conviction as she prepared herself.
"I... I apologize in advance for this, Mistress."
Seriphina smiled. "Y...ou say... this every... time."
Gritting her teeth, Fina lowered her arm at an alarming rate.
Chuck!
She stabbed Seriphina in the gut, blood instantly spewing out of the cut.
But it didn’t end there.
Fina pulled out the knife and stabbed her again.
And again.
And again.
All while Seriphina screamed her lungs out, the pain unbearable as she tried to grip the air for comfort.
And though it was clear she was in so much pain, not once did Seriphina try to stop Fina from stabbing her.
The pain was simply something that needed to happen.
...
(Playground.)
Satella leaped to the wall, her blade burning with red flames as she charged back down.
Daki was waiting, her eyes glowing a dark purple hue as she clenched her fist for a punch.
Bang!
Their attacks connected.
Satella found herself slamming against the wall, while Daki was only pushed back a few inches.
Just when she was about to go for the next attack, Daki got the better of her.
Daki, using her ability to create the physical manifestation of anything she could think of, decided to make a giant fist.
She sent this fist directly at Satella, punching her against the wall.
As the fist shattered, Satella landed on the ground.
Rather than receiving any type of damage, her entire body burned with blue flames.
Daki clicked her tongue in annoyance.
"Why won’t you go down already?!"
"Oh? Getting desperate, are we?" Satella smiled.
Meanwhile, Rashin was still seated on his throne, paying little to no attention to them. Instead, he was busy trying to understand the newly acquired skills he had gotten.
Daki sighed. "Alright then. Round two."
She strengthened her arms with her energy.
Satella smiled, her blade ready to go on the attack.
Understanding one another, the two charged forward.
A powerful clash was made by the single attack they both delivered at the same time.
They went on fighting, deflecting and dodging each other’s attacks with single hits and runs.
Unfortunately for Satella, Daki had more fighting experience.
She grabbed Satella by the neck and swept her feet, bringing her to the ground.
Daki didn’t waste a single second. The moment she realized that Satella was on the ground, she created a giant weapon, aiming the blade at Satella’s throat.
"It’s over... I won," she said with confidence.
Satella closed her eyes, accepting defeat.
As if they had their own system, they each received a notification.
[You have been promoted to the Queen rank.]
This appeared before Daki.
[You have been promoted to the Rook rank.]
Satella smirked. "I expected worse, but I guess I’m right under you."
Daki stood up, retracting her weapon.
"As long as I am the one at the Master’s side, I do not care which rank I possess," she replied.
"Oh my, how cold of you?" Satella also stood up. "Doesn’t the Rook also get the chance to be at the Master’s side? Last I checked, we are the only two to fully have the authority to stay by his side."
"For now. The Master is so amazing, he can make more maidens if he wishes. You’d best get stronger if you hope to keep your rank."
Daki walked away, headed toward Rashin.
Satella clenched her fist. "Thanks for the advice. I’ll be sure to take it to heart."
Now arriving in front of Rashin, Daki bowed her head, and so did Satella.
"Oh? Are you done?" Rashin asked, taking a second to look at them.
"Yes, Master. We have concluded our battle," Daki replied.
Taking a closer look at them, Rashin couldn’t help but sigh.
"How exactly did you know you were supposed to battle one another?" he asked. ’Did they exist in some other place before? Or perhaps I’m overthinking this.’
Daki raised her head slightly.
"Uhmm," she placed her finger on her cheek, "I do not know how to answer that question, Master. We just do. I guess it’s similar to how we know you are our Master."
"Is she speaking for you also, Satella?" Rashin asked as he shifted his attention.
Satella’s face had already turned beet red at the fact that Rashin could so freely call her name.
"Y-yes, Master. It was the same for me," she replied.
"I see."
Rashin stood up from the skeleton throne and gently began to walk forward.
Arriving in front of them, he placed his hand on their heads and uttered—
"You’ve done well. Keep it up."
At first, they were both surprised, but soon enough, their bodies sank into the warmth of his hand on their heads.
It was like a new wave of feelings surged through their bodies—something they had never experienced before.
"Yes, Master."
"Hai!"
They both responded.
"Okay then. Let’s get out of here. I’m exhausted and need to rest my head. We’ll explore the rest of the playground tomorrow."
"Exit!"
A gate spawned in front of them—it was the doorway back to the real world.
Rashin walked through it, his maidens following right after.
As soon as Rashin arrived back inside his room, he found Eri asleep on the bed.
"Eri?"
He was sure Seriphina had given her a place to sleep, just like him.
Perhaps she didn’t like her room.
Rashin didn’t really care at the moment. He was way too exhausted.
Collapsing onto the bed, Rashin faced the ceiling, closing his eyes so he could fall asleep.
Daki, not wanting to disturb her master, began to pull off his shoes so he could sleep comfortably.
Meanwhile, Satella stood at the side, seated on the table so she could protect him while he slept.
Or that was at least partially the reason.
The bigger reason was quite simple—she simply wanted to enjoy the view of watching her master sleep.
....
The next morning.
Eri was the first to wake up. Her eyes gradually opened to the morning sun.
That was when she realized it.
Somehow, she was resting her head on Rashin’s chest, her already plump-sized boobs pressing against Rashin’s side.
’I slept off waiting for him!!!’ she panicked.
Eri immediately sat upright, her face beet red as she instantly looked away.
"I am sorry! I didn’t mean to sleep on your bed! It’s just, you were missing yesterday, so I assumed you went on a stroll or something. Something felt odd yesterday, so I just wanted to make sure you were okay, and then I thought of sitting down for a while, and that was probably when I fell asleep. I’m sorry!!!" Eri ranted.
Soon, she was calm, slowly turning her head to look at Rashin.
’Oh right, he’s still asleep.’
She took a closer look at him.
’For someone who thinks about fighting all the time, I have to admit, he does look cute when he sleeps.’
Eri shook her head. ’No, no, what are you saying, Eri?! Control yourself...’ She took another glance. ’B...but it’s the truth though... he really is cute when he sleeps.’
