Lu Lingche shivered from the cold and kissed her face, “Hmm, not cold, very warm.”

Just as Qiao Yin was about to grab a handful of snow from the windowsill and shove it down Lu Lingche’s neck, he caught her hand first.

Embracing her, he laughed softly, “Still trying to be naughty? You’ll have to be quicker next time to succeed.”

Qiao Yin turned around and saw the smile in his eyes and at the corners of his mouth.

She was momentarily stunned.

He used to rarely smile, but now she often saw him smiling gently. His smile seemed to melt away the icebergs, revealing a soft interior that made the distance between them vanish and made her want to be close to him.

In the moment of her distraction, Lu Lingche’s kiss fell.

He was obviously in a good mood, and his kisses were especially gentle, “It’s the weekend today, are you off? I’ll take you to the hot springs, go skiing, and eat grilled fish.”

Qiao Yin was a bit surprised, “Don’t you not like fish that much?”

Lu Lingche’s heart trembled slightly. She really cared about him. Nobody else had noticed this habit of his, but she did.

He tightened his grip on her hand and said softly, “Don’t you like it? I’ll go with you. Eating grilled fish in the snowy weather is bound to have a unique flavor.”

Qiao Yin was somewhat tempted. She indeed had a day off today and taking a day off wouldn’t have too much impact on the hospital.

However, she hesitated about the idea of going out with Lu Lingche.

“I had someone buy it yesterday. I saw you were using this brand, so I got the same kind to make it convenient for you when you come over.”

After thinking for a moment, Qiao Yin took out a hair tie and gave Lu Lingche a small ponytail.

Lu Lingche turned to look at himself in the mirror, a face of resignation, “You see, does this look good?”

Qiao Yin burst into laughter, “It’s indeed ridiculous, but the tie you did for me isn’t much better.”
