Jiang Baizhou didn’t respond; he just glanced casually at Cen Jin beside him and continued eating his meal with a cold expression.

"Don’t worry, Aunt Hui Zi! I just had two bowls of soup; I’m fine now, it’s no problem." Sensing the atmosphere in the dining room was about to get heavy, Cen Jin quickly smiled and joined the conversation.

"Alright, then eat more dishes."

After the meal, Cen Jin once again took on the task of washing the dishes, letting Yu Hui go upstairs to change clothes and get ready to go out. Though she thought so, her body obediently moved toward him, sitting in the single sofa. Seeing that he didn’t seem to want to talk, Cen Jin quietly took out her phone and opened WeChat, starting to ask Lu Shishu what happened after she got drunk last night.

Lu Shishu quickly replied but with a mischievous and slightly cheeky emoji. Upon seeing this sticker, Cen Jin suddenly felt like she wanted to jump off a building.

Just as she started believing she must have done something excessive when drunk last night, Lu Shishu replied again, "I don’t know either, Jiang Baizhou came and picked you up yesterday. I took a cab home, so I’m not sure what happened after that. Why don’t you ask Jiang Baizhou?"
