"You wait outside for me," Mu Hanyan said to Huayue and Zirong.

The Great Elder only said she could choose any reward from the Treasure Vault but did not mention others, so Housekeeper Geng’s actions could not really be considered as making things difficult.

Huayue and Zirong nodded and promptly left the courtyard. Although they had only been with the Mu Family for a few months, they knew that the Treasure Vault was one of the forbidden areas of the family.
