Chapter 1919: Chapter 1919: Skywater Prison_1 Chapter 1919: Chapter 1919: Skywater Prison_1 Those men were after Ethan Smith, but Frederick Cohen had already left Frostmoon Palace before him!

It was well known that during his time at Frostmoon Palace, Frederick Cohen had often embarrassed Michael Wilson and made him lose face on multiple occasions.

Given Michael Wilson's character, he was certain to seek vengeance for even the smallest slight!

“What did you do to him?” Ethan Smith asked instinctively.

Everyone's gaze immediately fell on Ethan Smith.

Realizing that he'd spoken out of turn, Ethan Smith quickly took two steps back.

“Is this any place for you to speak?” Michael Wilson said with a dark expression.

Emily Taylor, afraid that Ethan might expose himself, hurriedly snapped, “Mind the rules!”

Michael Wilson, clearly displeased, retorted, “Miss Taylor, you really need to discipline your servant better.”

Ignoring Michael Wilson, Emily Taylor instead followed up on Ethan's question. “So, what have you done to the holy body?”

Spreading his hands, Michael Wilson replied, “Just taught him a little lesson. The brat was too stubborn, so I had to bring him back with me.”

Hearing this, Ethan Smith couldn't hold back any longer.

He stepped forward, glaring coldly at Michael Wilson. “What did you do to him? Where is he now?”

“Are you courting death?” Michael Wilson's displeasure grew as he slowly stood, looking ready to attack.

At this point, Ethan Smith couldn't care less about the consequences.

He stared at Michael Wilson with icy determination. “I'm asking you again–what did you do to him?”

“Ethan!” Emily Taylor barked sharply, trying to prevent Ethan from losing control. She quickly turned to Liam Garrett and ordered, “Liam, take him away!”

Liam Garrett, already eager to act, waved his hand, and an overwhelming force subdued Ethan Smith instantly, dragging him off to the side.

After Ethan was taken away, Michael Wilson commented, “Miss Taylor, that young man of yours is far too unruly. He needs a proper lesson.”

Emily Taylor ignored his remark and said solemnly, “The holy body you brought back is an old acquaintance of mine. Could you possibly do me a favor and release him?”

“Huh?” Michael Wilson was taken aback, then shook his head. “That's unfortunate, Miss Taylor. You're too late–he's already been thrown into Skywater Prison.”

At the mention of Skywater Prison, Emily Taylor's expression grew grim.

“Is there a way to get him out of Skywater Prison?” Emily Taylor pressed further.

Michael Wilson chuckled bitterly and replied, “Unless the Holy Lord steps in and activates the formation, there's no way to open Skywater Prison.”

Emily Taylor opened her mouth to speak, only for Daniel Wilson to interject, “The Holy Lord has ventured out to roam the world and won't be back anytime soon.”

This immediately cut off Emily Taylor's avenue for pleading, leaving her with nothing to say.

“I must admit, I'm curious. Emily, how do you even know this so-called holy body? From what I know, he doesn't seem to have any significant background.” Daniel Wilson narrowed his eyes as he spoke.

“That boy isn't from the same place as you, is he?”

Emily Taylor shook her head, her expression blank. “Of course not. I've just come across him in passing and had a superficial acquaintance with him.”

“I see.” Daniel Wilson seemed to accept her explanation outwardly, but suspicion had already sprouted in his heart.

“Don't worry, Emily. Once the Holy Lord returns, I'll plead on your behalf,” Michael Wilson added.

Emily Taylor nodded slightly. “Thank you.”

“Well then, if there's nothing else, I should get going.” Daniel Wilson stood up and said, “It's been a while since I last visited Nathan Taylor. I'll go check in on him.”

With that, the two of them bid Emily Taylor farewell and left Keelbour Mountain.

After they were gone, Liam Garrett brought Ethan Smith back out.

Emily Taylor hurriedly took out ointment and gently applied it to Ethan Smith's wounds.

“Emily, the person they took is Frederick Cohen!” Ethan said urgently, ignoring his injuries.

Emily Taylor, still applying the ointment, responded, “I know.”

“No, I have to save him!” Ethan said, his voice panicked.

Emily Taylor glanced at Ethan and said, “Save him? He's currently in the Wilson family's Skywater Prison. No one but the Leader of the Wilson Family can open that place. What's the point of you going?”

“Skywater Prison? What kind of place is that?” Ethan asked, frowning.

“A prison created by one of the Wilson Family's secret techniques. It's capable of…”

“Liam!”

Liam Garrett didn't finish before Emily Taylor interrupted him.

She looked at Ethan, her voice soft. “Don't worry, Frederick Cohen will be fine. I'll go to the Wilson Family myself to demand his release.”

Ethan opened his mouth, but although he was exceedingly anxious, he had no other options and could only nod. “Thank you.”

“For now, you need to focus on recovering,” Emily Taylor said, helping Ethan lie down and carefully applying more ointment.

Liam Garrett let out a slight snort before stepping aside.

After she finished treating Ethan's wounds, Emily Taylor calmed herself.

“How are you feeling now?” Emily asked.

Ethan rubbed his chest and said, “That palm strike wasn't meant to kill me. Otherwise, I'd probably already be dead in the Yellow Springs.”

“That's true.” Emily nodded. “Daniel Wilson's strength is terrifying.”

Ethan sighed softly.

Indeed, Daniel Wilson's power was even more daunting than he had imagined.

With just a casual palm strike, he had easily shattered all of Ethan's defenses.

Facing him in battle right now would leave no hope of victory.

“Rest well and don't overthink things. His cultivation level is far above yours,” Emily Taylor said, lightly patting Ethan's head with a smile.

Ethan forced a smile and nodded. “I know.”

Though he said that, Ethan's thoughts were anything but tranquil.

“Focus on recovering. I'll go gather some intel,” Emily Taylor said, standing up.

“Alright,” Ethan replied.

With that, Emily Taylor left Keelbour Mountain with Liam Garrett.

After they had departed, Liam Garrett couldn't help but ask, “Miss, you must know that Skywater Prison is fraught with peril. Why would you still…”

“Frederick Cohen won't die,” Emily Taylor interrupted him, glancing at him coldly. “And he must never learn the truth about Skywater Prison.”

Liam sighed and relented. “Understood.”

“One more thing,” Emily Taylor continued.

“Daniel Wilson must have picked up on something. He's meticulous and will definitely suspect Ethan,” she said coolly.

Liam Garrett paused, his expression puzzled. “Are you saying… he'll suspect that the person by your side is Ethan?”

“At the very least, he'll suspect that he's connected to Ethan,” Emily Taylor said, taking a deep breath.

“Liam, arrange for Ethan to join the outer court immediately.”

Surprised, Liam asked, “Make him an unregistered disciple?”

Emily Taylor nodded. “It's the only option for now.”
