Mrs. and Mr. Smith -
Chapter 1913
Chapter 1913: Chapter 1913: Emily Taylor's Keelbour Mountain Chapter 1913: Chapter 1913: Emily Taylor's Keelbour Mountain Upon hearing this, the surrounding people quickly retreated, afraid of becoming the person in charge of West Desert Island.
Later, Liam Garrett turned toward the third princess and said, “Third Princess, I am going to take him away.”
“No!” The third princess swiftly stepped in front of Liam Garrett and said irritably, “I don't care about any saintess. I don't believe my father would do anything to me for the sake of a stranger.”
Liam Garrett didn't get angry. He smiled and said, “Third Princess, you might be misunderstanding. Although the saintess's rights are not as substantial as the family head's, they are second only to him. She has the right to mobilize anyone, including you. Keep in mind that, even your father cannot prevent this.”
Although the third princess disagreed, considering the incontrovertible rule of the Taylor family, she couldn't argue.
“Alright, you can take him, but you can't choose from my people. You must send me another one,” said the third princess.
Hearing her words, Liam Garrett said in slight surprise, “I didn't expect the third princess to be so thoughtful.”
“Thoughtful my ass! I'm just bored of the same faces. Either find me a new one or find one as ugly as him,” answered the third princess obstinately.
Liam Garrett had no choice but to grin and bear it. He promised, “Alright, I'll get onto it right away.”
The third princess said no more. She walked up to Ethan Smith and said, squinting, “You're pretty lucky. But I'm warning you, don't think you'll be safe once you reach Keelbour Mountain. I'm not done with you yet.”
Ethan Smith didn't say a word. He didn't want to engage in any conversation with the third princess.
“Let's go,” said Liam Garrett, walking up to Ethan Smith.
Ethan Smith showed agreement and rose from the ground, following Liam Garrett. They left West Desert Island.
However, deep inside, Ethan was full of questions.
Why was Emily specifically requesting him? Considering how poorly Ethan performed during the stone stairway climbing, he was hardly worth remembering.
With this question in mind, Ethan looked over at Liam Garrett and ventured a thank you for helping him leave the island.
Garrett, however, didn't respond, as if he hadn't heard him at all.
Ethan fell silent, carefully extending his divine sense to gauge Liam's vibe.
Soon, a look of shock washed over Ethan's face.
Although this was not the first time he'd met Liam, last time he didn't get this close to him.
But the deep and vast air surrounding Liam that this divine sense exploration revealed, shocked Ethan. Ethan was not able to estimate his actual power!
No exaggeration, Ethan had never come across such an aura before!
“Other than Ella Jenkins, Dean Garner, I suspect nobody could be more powerful than Liam Garrett,” Ethan thought to himself.
“Stop wondering,” Garrett said all of a sudden.
He faced away from Ethan, speaking calmly, “Miss Taylor has known about your arrival in the Taylor family for a while now.”
Ethan's expression changed slightly.
Could it be that Emily had been observing him all along, but he had never noticed?!
“What a terrifying concealment technique!” Ethan exclaimed in his heart.
Regardless, it seemed to be good news. This way, Ethan had an excuse to be openly near Emily.
Once they arrived at Keelbour Mountain, Emily's territory, he believed the Taylors wouldn't suspect anything.
The West Desert Island was quite far from the Keelbour Mountain, and even with Liam leading the way, it would take a substantial amount of time.
Throughout the journey, Ethan didn't speak, nor did Liam.
Liam didn't seem to have a high regard for Ethan. His face was frozen, showing no trace of emotion.
As far as Liam was concerned, Ethan was a burden, a potential threat dragging Emily into the abyss.
So, Ethan did not try his luck. He just followed him quietly to the Keelbour Mountain.
After a long time, they finally arrived near Keelbour Mountain.
Compared to the desolation of West Desert Island, this place was like paradise, with clear waters, green mountains, a refreshing smell, which was truly carefree and happy.
Unlike the third princess's palace, Emily did not have a luxurious palace. She utilized nature itself, her training took place everywhere she went.
“We're here,” Liam Garrett's voice was slightly cold. It had an authoritative aura that sent chills down one's spine.
He slowly turned around, showing no intention of stepping into Keelbour Mountain.
Ethan intuitively sensed that something was amiss. There was clearly some hidden intent with Liam Garrett.
But he remained calm and continued to smile at Liam.
His already grotesque face, when combined with the torture he had received from the third princess, made his smile look quite terrifying.
Liam couldn't help but frown and turned his face away.
“Mr. Garrett, is there something wrong?” Ethan Smith took the initiative to ask.
Liam coldly snorted, “I want to tell you one thing, don't hold Miss Taylor back. I know what you're up to.”
“Miss Taylor favors you now, and there's nothing we can do about it. But if the day ever comes when I find out that you are going to bring disasters to her, I will not hesitate to eradicate you from this world, even if it costs me my own life.”
After dropping these words, Liam Garrett didn't give Ethan any chance to respond. He quickly stepped into Keelbour Mountain.
Naturally, Ethan didn't dare to delay and quickly followed him.
Keelbour Mountain was enormously large and breathtakingly beautiful. Precious trees unknown to Ethan were everywhere, and the air was refreshing and invigorating.
Liam Garrett led Ethan through the valleys and forests, eventually arriving at a cliffside.
At this moment, a woman was standing with her back to them. Her back was white and radiant like mutton fat jade
It was none other than Emily Taylor.
Ethan forcefully suppressed his excitement, desperately trying to remain calm.
“Miss, Here is the man,” Liam Garrett reported courteously.
“Alright, Liam, you can go now,”
Emily turned around, her cooling face was breathtakingly beautiful.
Ever since she started her cultivation journey, Emily exuded more celestial aura, like a real celestial fairy.
“Miss, please be cautious,” Liam cautioned seriously.
Without another word, he stepped back.
But Ethan knew better than to let his guard down. No doubt, Liam must still be lurking in the dark, silently watching them.
Upon seeing Ethan's alert expression, Emily commented lightly, “No need to worry, Liam is one of us.”
Ethan let out a sigh of relief. He quickly walked forward, took a couple of steps, and then halted.
“No, my grotesque face…might scare her,” he thought to himself.
While Ethan was lost in his thoughts, Emily had already approached him.
Her body exuded a charming fragrance that hit him straight and overwhelmed his senses.
