Mrs. and Mr. Smith
Chapter 1763

Chapter 1763: Chapter 1763: The Terrifying Dudley Lynch! Chapter 1763: Chapter 1763: The Terrifying Dudley Lynch! Denton Horton glared at Dudley Lynch and said, “Where's your White Bone Club? Isn't that practically a Saint Weapon?”

“If you could wield the White Bone Club, maybe you could turn this whole situation around!”

Dudley Lynch suddenly realized something. His hand trembled as he pulled out the White Bone Club.

Then, shaking the club in his hand, he said thoughtfully, “Oh, you're talking about this? Ha! If you hadn't reminded me, I would've completely forgotten about it…”

“Useless fool!” Denton Horton spat out the words with difficulty.

Lying limp on the bed, he said in a trembling voice, “For now, North Plain is yours to handle. When my injuries are healed, I promise I'll return to the Southern Province and slaughter them all…”

Dudley Lynch sneered coldly and said, “Master, do you still plan to go back? You've failed so many times already, why bother breaking your neck over it?”

Denton Horton's expression darkened. He glared at Dudley Lynch and said, “What do you mean?”

“What do I mean? What could I possibly mean…” Dudley Lynch's tone suddenly turned chillingly sinister.

Before Denton Horton could respond, Dudley Lynch suddenly activated the White Bone Club!

He raised the club high. Terrifying power instantly converged before erupting!

While Denton Horton was still confused, Dudley Lynch swung the club with full force, smashing it brutally into Denton Horton's head!

In Dudley Lynch's hands, the White Bone Club actually released a thread of Holy Power!

That thread of Holy Power instantly shattered Denton Horton's skull!

“That's exactly what I mean,” Dudley Lynch said coldly.

“You really thought I was your dog? Denton Horton, you're nothing!” Dudley Lynch sneered wickedly.

Just then, a wisp of divine sense floated out from Denton Horton's shattered consciousness.

It was the remnants of Denton Horton's primordial spirit! He glared at Dudley Lynch, his face full of disbelief.

*”You dare betray me?!”* he roared furiously.

“Oh? As expected from the Lord of North Plain, not dead yet,” Dudley Lynch jeered.

Denton Horton opened his mouth, ready to speak, but Dudley Lynch didn't give him the chance.

Wielding the White Bone Club with deadly precision, Dudley Lynch used the last trace of Holy Power to completely obliterate Denton Horton's divine sense!

The once-mighty Lord of North Plain perished at Dudley Lynch's hands!

Holding the White Bone Club with one hand, blood dripped from the club onto the floor.

“I never treated you as any kind of master. So how could it even be called betrayal?” Dudley Lynch sneered coldly.

“Dudley Lynch! You despicable scum, you… you dared raise your hand against our master!” Suddenly, Simon Ingram roared angrily from the bed!

He glared furiously at Dudley Lynch, gritting his teeth and said, “You beast. Disgusting!”

Dudley Lynch cast him a sideways glance, then swung the club at him without hesitation.

That strike smashed Simon Ingram's skull and primordial spirit into nothingness!

“I refuse to live my life like you, willing to be someone else's obedient dog forever.” Dudley Lynch's voice was icy.

In the blink of an eye, both Denton Horton and Simon Ingram were dead by Dudley Lynch's hand.

Nobody could have imagined that Denton Horton, who had used all his strength to retreat to North Plain, would meet such an ignoble end!

Eternal Greenwood stared at Dudley Lynch but didn't utter a single word. *Deep down, however, he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread.*

Dudley Lynch's lips curled in a faint smile as he looked at Greenwood and said lightly, “Relax. I won't kill you.”

Upon hearing those words, Greenwood instantly breathed a silent sigh of relief.

Forcing himself to suppress the fear in his heart, he said, “Th-thank you.”

Dudley Lynch showed no haste. He sat beside Greenwood's bed and said quietly, “A true man born under Heaven and Earth should not remain subordinate for long.”

Greenwood let out a bitter chuckle and said, “I've always considered you frightening. But I didn't realize just how terrifying you truly are.”

“Oh?” Dudley Lynch raised a brow, signaling Greenwood to continue.

Greenwood mused, “All my life, I've thought of myself as shameless. To achieve my goals, I'd stop at nothing and sacrifice anything!”

“But ever since I crossed paths with you, I've realized that my scheming falls far short of yours.”

Dudley Lynch's laugh erupted. “Hahahahahaha!”

The sound was sharp and piercing, stirring up violent gusts across all of North Plain!

“Why do you think I came to North Plain?” Dudley Lynch asked.

Greenwood thought for a moment and said, “You came for a legacy–the Immortal Slaying Sect's legacy?”

“Indeed!” Dudley Lynch's expression suddenly turned maniacal.

He stood abruptly and shouted, “I know I don't have powerful connections or an inherent Bloodline, nor do I have extraordinary luck! All I can rely on is myself!”

“Since Heaven doesn't grant me opportunity, I'll seize it myself!”

“The legacy… I'll take it with my own hands!”

Greenwood was deeply moved by Dudley Lynch's words.

He remembered what Dudley Lynch said back in Divine Capital City, words he hadn't believed at the time. Now, he suddenly found himself believing.

Dudley Lynch said lightly, “If you want to live, then lie here obediently.”

“I won't stay here for long. Once I acquire what I want, I'll leave.”

With those words, Dudley Lynch turned and prepared to leave.

Just then, Greenwood called out to him.

He frowned and asked, “Why won't you kill me?”

Dudley Lynch tilted his brow and said calmly, “I told you–killing someone requires no reason. Sparing someone, likewise, requires no reason.”

After leaving those words, Dudley Lynch said no more and turned, walking out of the room.

His figure disappeared into the endless snow, until no trace remained.

Denton Horton was dead.

Back in the Southern Province, no one had heard the news yet.

At this moment, Ethan Smith lay half-dead on a bed.

*After enduring two consecutive devastating injuries, no one could endure such pain.*

“Is this kid going to die?” Randall Freeman muttered softly as he sat by Ethan's bedside.

Salena Carpenter glared at Randall Freeman and snapped, “Shut your Crow's mouth!”

Randall Freeman grinned sheepishly and dared not speak again.

Salena Carpenter tried to transfer life-giving energy to Ethan but failed each time.

“We should go to Medicinal Saint City and find Ethan an alchemist,” Gregory Hum suggested.

Salena Carpenter snorted coldly and said, “Those good-for-nothings in Medicinal Saint City are useless. What's the point in asking them for help?”

“Then what's your plan?” Gregory Hum asked, frowning.

Salena Carpenter thought for a moment and said, “I'll go to the Central Province to find Ethan an alchemist, now that the dead river is gone.”

“Even if the dead river's gone, it's still dangerous. The surrounding Azure Rock Forest in Rayleigh Province is heavily guarded,” Gregory Hum said.

“No matter,” Salena Carpenter replied after a glance at Ethan. “I'll try anyway.”

*This kid saved my life. Now it's my turn to save him, no matter how dangerous.* she murmured softly.

Randall Freeman leaned in, grinning and said, “Salena Carpenter, going to the Central Province isn't practical. Even if you somehow survive the Azure Rock Forest, there's no time. By the time you return, this kid will probably already be a corpse.”
