Mrs. and Mr. Smith -
Chapter 1726
Chapter 1726: Chapter 1726: Finger of God Chapter 1726: Chapter 1726: Finger of God Three-on-three!
The addition of Randall Freeman and Gregory Hum undoubtedly changed the course of this battle!
Their arrival immediately sent the entire Southern Province into an uproar!
All the onlookers clenched their fists, their faces brimming with excitement and exhilaration!
“Randall Freeman and Gregory Hum, they've made their move!”
“Gregory Hum has never been weaker than Simon Ingram, and Randall Freeman is equally unrivaled in the Southern Province! In today's battle, it's impossible to predict who will win or lose!”
“But who knows if Forrest Middleton still has the strength left to face Denton Horton?”
Everyone understood clearly in their hearts that the addition of these two could at most buy Forrest Middleton time to deal with Denton Horton, as there was no way they could defeat Simon Ingram or Simon Ingram, let alone both, in a short period.
*But could Forrest Middleton, in his current state, truly defeat Denton Horton?*
*If Denton Horton won, wouldn't the outcome remain the same?*
“Believe in Forrest Middleton. He has never been defeated in his life, no matter who he's faced,” someone said.
“He's just at the half-step Reversion Void Stage. If he'd already entered the Reversion Void Stage, how could this battle be so difficult?”
“At this point, all we can do is pray silently.”
On the battlefield,
three people stood facing three people.
Randall Freeman's mouth showed no signs of stopping, bombarding Simon Ingram and his allies with a tirade of insults.
By contrast, Gregory Hum appeared much calmer. He stood there silently, emanating a chilling cold aura.
Forrest Middleton's injuries were slowly healing, but his energy showed no signs of recovering.
“Gregory Hum… You didn't die last time,” Denton Horton remarked as he glanced toward Gregory.
Gregory nodded slightly and smiled. “Fortune favored me; I survived.”
Denton Horton scoffed coldly and said, “You're right, you do have incredible luck. Since you didn't die last time, I'll kill you this time.”
“No need for the small talk. Gregory Hum, Simon Ingram's just a mutt. Leave him to me–I've had enough of him.” Randall Freeman's eyes were icy as he spoke.
“No objection here,” Gregory replied indifferently.
His gaze shifted to Simon Ingram, marking his chosen opponent.
Three versus three, the great war ignited anew!
Forrest Middleton gazed coldly at Denton Horton. A faint trace of killing intent lingered on his pale face.
Meanwhile, Denton Horton squinted at Forrest, sneering. “I know you still have a trump card up your sleeve. But do you really think it'll help? Today, you're as good as dead.”
As he spoke, Denton tilted his head back and let out a explosive roar, unleashing his energy once more!
He understood that in Forrest's severely weakened state, he couldn't allow him any opportunity to recover.
With a sharp movement, Denton lunged forward, his left hand transforming into a palm and his right into a fist. The fusion of his martial technique and physical strength reached its peak–he was intent on brawling Forrest up close!
But in his current state, Forrest, still short of the Reversion Void Stage, was no match for a melee encounter.
In mere moments, Forrest was forced to retreat again and again, blood flowing uncontrollably!
A terrifying light emanated from Denton's hand.
As his palm descended, it nearly tore half of Forrest's body apart. Blood gushed like a river, leaving exposed, ghastly white bone–a horrific sight!
Looking at the fallen Forrest, Denton sneered. “What more do you have to stand against me?”
Forrest struggled to his feet, coughing up a mouthful of blood as his face grew even paler.
Staring at Denton, he said, “If I survive today, will you still have a chance to defeat me? Even if the true form from the North Plain revived, could you win against me?”
Denton froze for a moment, a hint of irritation flickering across his face.
His voice was icy as he said, “I'll admit it–if you enter the Reversion Void Stage, I may not be able to defeat you. Not just me; few in this entire world in the Reversion Void Stage could confidently best you. But so what? You won't get that chance!”
Forrest shook his head. “You're wrong. It's not that you may not be able to defeat me–it's that you don't even have the qualifications to fight me.”
“As for me having no chance, you're wrong again. I won't die today.”
Denton froze, a sudden, unsettling premonition flashing in his mind.
He retorted coldly, “All talk and no substance. You're doomed!”
Perhaps out of inner unease, Denton's anger spiked. He swung his fists wildly, unleashing his full arsenal of techniques to force Forrest back once again!
Meanwhile, Gregory and Randall's battles were also in full swing.
Randall, having mastered Salena Carpenter's techniques, fought like a man possessed. He seemed like a long-haired madman, utterly ferocious and terrifying, leaving Simon struggling to defend against him.
Gregory appeared far more composed, but his strikes were no less fierce, leaving Simon Ingram momentarily unable to counter.
“Gregory Hum, you and I have never crossed paths, have we?” Simon Ingram said coldly.
Gregory nodded slightly. “Today's the first time. Perhaps it's also the last.”
“Arrogant!” Simon bellowed, raising his palm as he shouted, “Today, I'll cut you down!”
With that, a palm strike as overwhelming as a tidal wave surged forth, shattering the Void and piercing through Heaven and Earth!
This was Simon's Signature Art. He intended to teach Gregory a lesson with this technique.
But Gregory remained unshaken. Stretching out his hand, ripples of light resembling water waves appeared in his palm.
In an instant, heavenly water seemed to drip forth, emanating from Gregory's palm to meet Simon's technique head-on.
*”Hummmm!”*
The moment the two met, the heavenly-water-like light completely engulfed Simon's technique!
Instead of the expected violent collision, everything fell eerily silent, tranquil as water.
Simon's expression changed. Squinting, he said coldly, “Gregory Hum, you're truly an enigma. They say you're a master of ultimate softness. Is it true?”
“Test it for yourself,” Gregory replied with a faint smile.
“Very well. I'll take you on!” Simon roared before charging at Gregory once more.
In the distance, Forrest Middleton was already covered in wounds, blood pouring from his body.
He seemed to have lost all ability to fight back, with even the vision hovering behind him now dissipated.
Denton Horton glared at Forrest coldly and said, “If you've got anything left up your sleeve, show it now. Otherwise, you won't get another chance.”
Once again, Denton raised his hand, managing to conjure another fearsome magical artifact!
What astonished everyone most was that Denton's body was regenerating at an incredible pace!
This was none other than the secret art of the Immortal Slaying Sect–Three Lives Reincarnation!
If this continued, Forrest would only fall further into disadvantage. Time was not on his side!
Seeing the terrifying artifact in Denton's hand, everyone felt a chill creep into their hearts!
In his current state, it seemed impossible for Forrest to withstand even one more strike from Denton!
“The world knows only Rashomon, but not the Finger of God,”
At that moment, Forrest spoke suddenly!
Hearing this, Denton paused briefly, then sneered. “Finger of God? What nonsense is that? Trying to scare me? Forrest Middleton, do you think anything you can do in your current condition could possibly harm me?”
