Chapter 1341: Chapter 1341: The Shocking Randall Freeman_1 Chapter 1341: Chapter 1341: The Shocking Randall Freeman_1 “Clay!”
Ethan Smith's face turned pale, desperately pushing Clay, but it was already too late.
That palm strike was heading straight for Clay!
Ethan felt desperate, while the mighty realm cultivator was covered in cold sweat!
If this palm strike hit Clay, it would likely kill him instantly!
By then, Randall wouldn't let Ethan go!
“Buzz!”
Just as the palm strike was about to hit Clay, a brilliant light appeared.
Following that, an old figure took form and stood in front of Clay.
Although the figure was quite old, he had an air of intimidation around him. With scars across his face, he looked like someone not to be messed with.
“Grandpa!”
Seeing this figure, Clay let out a sigh of relief.
However, the mighty cultivator in front of them had a face full of setbacks, and hastily greeted, “I've met Elder Freeman…”
Old Randall glanced at him, then turned to Clay.
“Fuck, did you go over time?!” Old Randall made people's jaws drop the moment he opened his mouth.
The words he spoke did not match his strong cultivator status at all.
Ethan couldn't help but be stunned.
Was this really a powerful individual that even the Cloud Sect feared? Why… why did he seem so out of tune?
“Ah, it got delayed.” Clay mumbled.
“That's right, it's all their fault for stopping us from leaving and even attacking Clay just now!” Alfred chimed in with exaggeration.
Old Randall's face darkened upon hearing this, turning his gaze towards the hundreds of people in front of him.
“Ah, this is Gowinston City, eh?” Old Randall muttered to himself.
Hearing that, the mighty cultivator began to sweat profusely.
He hurriedly knelt on the ground, trembling as he spoke, “Elder, you…you misunderstood. We wanted to capture Ethan Smith; it was… it was just an accidental injury…”
“Accidental injury?” Old Randall's veins pulsed with anger on his face, and spat, “I'll accidentally injure your grandpa! You almost killed my precious grandson? I'll slaughter you!”
The cultivator trembled with fear, unable to utter a single word.
“You wait, tomorrow I'm coming to Gowinston City to have a talk with your City Lord.” Old Randall said coldly.
“Don't…don't, Elder, this…this is really a misunderstanding…” The cultivator had a heart full of despair.
Old Randall wanted to say something else, but Clay waved it off, “Let him go this time, Grandpa. We have to go back quickly.”
“Ethan, let's go.” Clay tugged Ethan and said.
Ethan didn't dare to waste any time, immediately turning to leave.
But at this moment, the cultivator quickly spoke up, “Please, Elder, you must hand Ethan Smith over to us…”
Old Randall's face darkened, gritting his teeth and said, “Are you fucking trying to bargain with me?”
“He…he just met your grandson. There's no need to protect him…” the cultivator stuttered.
“Bullshit!” Clay jumped up and slapped him twice.
“No matter how long we've known each other, he's my friend, Clay! Don't push your luck! Understand?” Clay pointed at the cultivator's nose and shouted.
The cultivator dared not say a word, enduring it all.
“You heard my grandson, right? Get out of our way!” Old Randall said impatiently.
The cultivator still seemed unwilling to give up, stiffly saying, “Elder, this Ethan Smith has killed Philbert Duncan, and is wanted by the Cloud Sect…”
These words instantly enraged Old Randall, as his face turned black as coal instantly.
“Are you trying to use the Cloud Sect to pressure me?” Old Randall coldly said.
An icy murderous spirit swept over the entire scene.
“No…of course not. This junior misspoke. Please forgive me, Elder…” the cultivator shivered from head to toe.
Old Randall snorted coldly and said, “Tell the Cloud Sect that I, Old Randall, took the person.”
After dropping this sentence, he turned to Clay.
Without wasting any time, Clay pulled Ethan and left.
This time, no one dared to stop them.
Ethan sat on the Wind-chasing Stallion, following the Freeman brothers as they left for the distance.
Old Randall's figure slowly disappeared.
The cultivator remained kneeling on the ground, not daring to move.
“General, Old Randall is gone…” It wasn't until someone reminded him that he finally got up from the ground.
“Goddamn it!” The general clenched his teeth in frustration.
He never imagined that the ready-to-cook duck would fly away like this.
“Shall we continue the pursuit?” someone asked.
“Pursue your grandpa!” The general, with anger boiling in his stomach, turned and slapped the person in the face.
“I can't risk my life for the Cloud Sect.”
Old Randall was a madman, and no one wanted to mess with him.
“Anyway, I've done what had to be done. The rest is none of my business.” The general thought to himself.
The group of more than a hundred people left the same way they arrived, eventually making their way back to the Imperial Palace.
Inside the Great Hall, the general knelt and reported the entire incident to the City Lord.
After hearing the report, the City Lord's face turned even more unsightly.
“This is bad. Not only did we fail to please the Cloud Sect, we've also offended Old Randall…” The City Lord muttered in a low voice, looking completely deflated.
