Mrs. and Mr. Smith
Chapter 1338

Chapter 1338: Chapter 1338: Temple of No Fate_1 Chapter 1338: Chapter 1338: Temple of No Fate_1 At this point, Ava suggested, “How about… you come with me back to the Brown family?”

“What would I do at the Brown family?” Ethan Smith shook his head.

Ava smiled and said, “Perhaps I can get them to help find the Life Aura?”

“Do you think that's possible?” Ethan Smith shook his head. “If they could find Life Aura, why would you need to go through all the trouble to come to Sunilope City?”

Ava seemed to find the reason in that, so she didn't insist anymore.

“By the way, do you know of any other sources of Life Aura?” Ethan Smith asked.

Ava shook her head and said, “Unfortunately, at the moment, Sunilope City is the only place I know of.”

“Alright, if you hear any news in the future, please be sure to let me know.” Ethan Smith bowed his hands.

“I will.” Ava promised.

At this point, Virgil, who was standing aside, suggested, “Why don't you take this opportunity to publicly raise funds for Life Aura?”

“Yeah, with your current influence, there should be people willing to invest in you, right?” Ava added.

Ethan Smith said solemnly, “It's difficult. In the Southern Province, the Cloud Sect is almost omnipotent. No one dares to get close to me now. What I should be more concerned about is how to survive.”

If he couldn't even protect his own life, Life Aura would be meaningless.

“Miss Ava, I think we should part ways here. Staying with me any longer may put you in danger.” Ethan Smith said.

Ava smiled and said, “Mr. Smith, I hope we'll meet again.”

-“Till we meet again.” Ethan Smith nodded as well.

They parted ways, and neither knew when they would meet again.

Ethan Smith found his Wind-chasing Stallion and prepared to leave Sunilope City.

-“Ethan Smith.”

Just then, a familiar voice sounded behind Ethan Smith.

Turning around, he saw that the visitor was none other than Roger Gibbs.

“Mr. Burton? How did you get here?” Ethan Smith asked in surprise.

Roger Gibbs came up to Ethan Smith and said solemnly, “Are you planning to leave?”

Ethan Smith nodded and replied, “I've found the Life Aura, so it's time for me to leave.”

Roger Gibbs nodded, then slowly took out a small jar.

This jar was exquisitely packaged and shimmered with radiant light.

“Take it.” Roger Gibbs said with a hint of reluctance.

Ethan Smith accepted the jar, and with surprise, he asked, “What is this?”

“Life Aura,” Roger Gibbs said solemnly.

Ethan Smith was instantly shocked. He hurriedly put the jar back in and said, “Mr. Burton, this is too precious; I can't accept it.”

Roger Gibbs rolled his eyes and said, “Didn't you want to take this Life Aura from me when you came here? Why change your tune now?”

Ethan Smith gave a bitter smile, “I didn't know how precious Life Aura was before. After I entered the mountain range, I realized that it was probably a gift of life for you. I shouldn't rob someone of their treasure.”

“Alright, although I'm indeed reluctant, this item is more important to you. Take it.” Roger Gibbs put the jar back into Ethan Smith's hand.

Ethan Smith held the jar, unsure of what to do.

“Mr. Burton, do you have any conditions?” Ethan Smith asked after a moment.

Roger Gibbs opened his mouth as if to say something but then waved his hand and said, “No conditions. You'd better leave soon.”

“Mr. Burton, if you have any requests, just tell me directly. If I can do it, I won't avoid it,” Ethan Smith continued.

But Roger Gibbs didn't say anything and just waved his hand repeatedly before slowly leaving.

Ethan Smith put away the jar and sat on the Wind-chasing Stallion, preparing to leave Sunilope City.

In fact, Ethan Smith had no idea where to go right now.

Although he said he was going to Gowinston City, even a fool would know that Gowinston City was probably occupied by the Cloud Sect by now; it was impossible to return.

“I can only take one step at a time.” Ethan Smith sighed in his heart.

Last time, in his confrontation with the First Elder Virtual Shadow, Ethan Smith felt a bit of pressure.

That mere phantom had forced Ethan Smith to retreat several steps. If the actual First Elder were to come, Ethan Smith would be powerless to fight back.

“I wonder where Frederick Cohen and the others are.” Ethan Smith muttered.

Ethan Smith had arrived a year later than Frederick Cohen and the others. With their talents, no one could tell how much progress they'd made in a year.

“If only I could find them.” Ethan Smith sighed.

Although the news of Ethan Smith killing Philbert Duncan spread quickly, it was limited to the Southern Province.

When leaving the Southern Province, perhaps no one else would know of the incident.

“If it comes to it, I may have to consider leaving the Southern Province.” Ethan Smith thought to himself.

After much hesitation, Ethan Smith finally decided to temporarily go to the vicinity of the Hunter's organization to wait for an opportunity.

There were two reasons. First, the Hunter organization was close to Gowinston City, making it easy to monitor the situation and gather information.

The second reason was that the flying spiders in the Azure Rock Forest possessed Life Aura.

And the reason why Ethan Smith didn't go directly back to the Hunter organization was because of Urban Dittman's presence.

If Urban Dittman learned of Ethan Smith's whereabouts, he would definitely report to the Cloud Sect.

“If it weren't for that white bone scepter in his hand, I would have killed him long ago.” Ethan Smith couldn't help but sigh.

After a few days of travel, Ethan Smith finally arrived near the Hunter organization.

There was a small mountain with a temple on it called the Temple of No Fate.

The location of the Temple of No Fate was extremely unique, situated right between the Hunter organization and Gowinston City.

This mountain also had a high altitude. From the summit, coupled with Ethan Smith's Desolate Divine Eye, he could observe the movement of people in between.

Ethan Smith climbed to the top of the mountain and entered the Temple of No Fate.

There were only a few monks in the temple. Their reaction to Ethan Smith's sudden arrival was minimal, and they went about their business after a brief glance.

“You must be Ethan Smith.”

Ethan Smith was just about to speak when a monk spoke up.

Hearing this, Ethan Smith's face instantly changed.

He retreated cautiously, clenching his right fist and squinting his eyes as he asked, “Who are you and how do you know me?”

“The Wanted Order from the Cloud Sect is everywhere; it's tough not to know.” The monk slowly stood up and replied.

Ethan Smith stared at the monk. He had an extremely ordinary appearance and even with his hair shaved off, he didn't stand out in a crowd.

“Don't worry; I won't expose you.” The monk said indifferently.

But Ethan Smith's face grew colder.

His previous trust had been met with betrayal, so how could he trust this person now?

A cold intention arose in Ethan Smith's heart, and he couldn't help but emit a murderous spirit.
