Chapter 1311
Chapter 1311: Chapter 1311: News about the Life Aura_1 Chapter 1311: Chapter 1311: News about the Life Aura_1 Upon hearing this, the face of the black-suited man changed drastically.
He couldn't afford to offend Randall Freeman, who was a notorious ruthless character in the Southern Province. Even the Cloud Sect didn't want to cross him.
“Fine, let's go.” The black-suited man waved his hand, led his men, and turned to leave.
Only after they had gone far did Clay get up and ask, “When did my grandfather arrive here? There are still several days before our agreed-upon return home.”
General Potbelly smiled awkwardly and said, “Mr. Tenny, I did this just to scare him off, otherwise, he would have persisted.”
Clay, slightly appreciative, patted General Potbelly on the shoulder and said, “Not bad, I think highly of you. You have the potential to be a City Lord in the future!”
“Oh, I don't dare to accept that.” General Potbelly said with a frightened face.
Alfred waved his hand and said, “All right, if there's nothing else, just go. Don't disturb our drinking and enjoyment.”
“Alright, Mr. Tenny, then I won't bother you any more.”
General Potbelly and his men quickly left the Heros Bar.
Ethan Smith couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
That was close, almost exposed.
“I have to hide the Valepeak Buddha Flame as soon as possible,” Ethan Smith thought to himself.
For now, Ethan Smith couldn't absorb the Valepeak Buddha Flame. He could only hide it temporarily and wait until his spiritual power recovered before trying to absorb it again.
For the next few days, the entire Southern Province was buzzing about the incident.
They searched more than half of the Southern Province, but they couldn't find the Valepeak Buddha Flame. A few days later, the matter slowly died down.
Early morning that day.
The three men shared a room, sleeping soundly when knocking sounded from outside.
“Go, open the door.” Clay kicked Alfred, still half-asleep.
“Why the hell don't you go?” Alfred turned over and kicked back.
Clay, with a belly full of anger, got up and cursed, “You're done for, I'll beat you up one of these days!”
Grumbling to himself, he walked towards the door.
When the door opened, Clay instantly changed his expression and put on a loving pose.
It was no wonder because the person standing at the door was the Female Auctioneer.
The auctioneer wrinkled her upturned nose and said, “What a strong smell of alcohol.”
Upon hearing this, Clay immediately took the opportunity to elaborate, “Ah, because you rejected me, I was so heartbroken that I could only indulge in drinking all day. You don't know how painful these days have been for me…”
Hearing Clay's words, the female auctioneer couldn't help but cover her mouth and giggle lightly.
“I knew you must be thinking of me in your heart! Right?” Clay's heart kindled a little hope.
The female auctioneer rolled her eyes and said, “I came to see Ethan Smith.”
Upon hearing this, Clay's face immediately turned black, and he angrily returned to the room.
He kicked Ethan Smith's backside and angrily said, “It's for you, you bastard, disturbing my sleep!”
Still in a daze, Ethan Smith sat up from the bed. His hangover from last night made him look quite haggard.
Seeing the female auctioneer at the door, Ethan Smith hurriedly got up, tidied up his hair briefly, and then quickly went to greet her.
“I'm sorry, the room's a bit messy.” Ethan Smith said, looking somewhat embarrassed.
The female auctioneer smiled and walked around the room as she sized up its structure.
Ethan Smith quickly brewed her a cup of tea and politely asked, “My friend, what brings you here so suddenly?”
As she placed her black bag on the table, the female auctioneer smiled faintly and said, “Didn't you ask me to come?”
“Huh?” Ethan Smith was stunned.
“Damn, Ethan, you're not human!” Clay, who had been pretending to sleep, suddenly sat up and grabbed Ethan, shaking him vigorously.
The female auctioneer at the side laughed with her mouth clamped shut and spoke sweetly, “All right, stop messing around. I came for the Life Aura.”
Upon hearing this, Ethan Smith immediately turned serious and looked at the auctioneer.
“My friend, do you have Life Aura with you?” Ethan struggled to suppress his excitement as he spoke.
Clay, on the side, also leaned in to listen.
Seeing this, the auctioneer laughed and said, “Shall we talk somewhere else?”
“Ah, yes.” Ethan agreed without thinking.
As the two got up and walked towards the door, Clay watched, gritting his teeth.
“Damn, am I not as handsome as Ethan Smith?” Clay grabbed the sleeping Alfred and angrily exclaimed.
Alfred carefully examined Clay and said, “Um… I don't know if you're handsome or not, but you're definitely more lecherous.”
“Go to hell!”
In a corner by the window of the Heros Bar.
Ethan Smith and the female auctioneer sat facing each other.
“My friend, where's the Life Aura?” Ethan Smith asked anxiously.
The female auctioneer raised her eyebrows and rolled her eyes, saying, “Is that how you ask someone for a favor? If I'm not mistaken, you don't even know my name, do you?”
Ethan Smith immediately felt embarrassed, only then realizing that he had lost his composure.
He coughed and asked, “May I know your name, my friend?”
The auctioneer seemed to enjoy Ethan's demeanor. She covered her mouth and chuckled, then said, “Everyone at the auction just calls me Simona.”
“So it's Simona, I've heard about you for a long time.” Ethan Smith said courteously.
After exchanging pleasantries, Ethan Smith couldn't wait to ask, “Simona, where is the Life Aura?”
