Mr. Su's Love Investigation Report -
Chapter 66 Not Stupid
Chapter 66: Chapter 66 Not Stupid
Tu Hengsha felt like spitting up blood! Would this exhausting misunderstanding ever be resolved?
"Mr. Su!" Reflecting on it, her attitude had shifted from friendly and warm towards Xiao Xu to being quite respectful towards Mr. Su—all out of caution not to offend him. But why was his attitude so terrible? All he did was either give her the cold shoulder or criticize her! Since they were still going to work at the same press, this misunderstanding couldn’t be muddled any longer! "Mr. Su! It’s like this! The day I found Bangbangtang, I met two dogs. Bangbangtang was soft and endearing, winning people’s hearts, and could even act cute for attention. The other one, however, was aggressive. I treated him well, gave him food, took care of him when he was sick, yet he was still hostile—biting at me randomly! Once he was full, he’d run off without warning! Tell me, how stupid would I have to be to like that aggressive dog?"
Hmph! Who couldn’t throw barbs in a roundabout way? Retaliating in kind was something she enjoyed, too!
That aggressive dog—no, that esteemed Mr. Su—surprisingly didn’t get angry. He simply responded in a light tone, "Is that so?"
Tu Hengsha was doubtful he understood when he added, "Aren’t you stupid then?"
"..." Blood-spitting!
While the two struggled to reach an understanding, Fan Yue returned and shouted as soon as he came in, "Gugu! You’re here?"
Tu Hengsha felt frustrated. Here she was, a grown woman standing there, yet her friend only noticed him? And when did Fan Yue become so familiar with him?
Cui Pei, her husband, had returned with Fan Yue, wearing an expression that screamed, "My wife is out of control."
"You knew Bangbangtang was missing, too? I’m sorry, I couldn’t keep an eye on him..." Fan Yue started rattling off to Su Ronggui, reporting how Bangbangtang went missing as if it were a work report!
Tu Hengsha found it strange; Bangbangtang was her dog, right? Why did Fan Yue act like he was completely responsible to Su Ronggui?
"Yueyue!" She couldn’t stay silent any longer! She had to assert her presence!
Fan Yue finally smiled at her, "Little Sha! Gugu bought the full set of the best dog supplies and food for Bangbangtang! Also, Gugu is with your press, so why didn’t you tell me? He agreed to help you deal with that crazy Mr. Su and let off some steam!"
Tu Hengsha glanced at Su Ronggui and wanted to give Fan Yue ten thousand thumbs up! It was indeed that crazy Mr. Su!
Cui Pei, however, looked constipated, tugging at Fan Yue’s sleeve, "Dear..."
"Oh, go back inside and don’t interrupt our conversation!" Fan Yue shook off his hand.
Tu Hengsha also couldn’t bear to watch. Cui Pei was a complete pushover for his wife, and Fan Yue was utterly lawless in this household, reigning supreme.
Fan Yue continued babbling to Su Ronggui, "Gugu, how did you deal with Mr. Su?"
Cui Pei finally couldn’t stand it, pulling Fan Yue back to his side with a face that said, "Dear, don’t embarrass yourself any more," and whispered in her ear, "He is Su Ronggui!"
"...What? Who?" Fan Yue looked incredulous.
Cui Pei simply gave up explaining further to her. Stepping forward, he extended his right hand, "Mr. Su, what a coincidence." Hearing his wife go on about Mr. Xu, Mr. Gugu, the landlord’s grandson, and now the second son of the company’s big boss, he, as an executive, had really been ineffective.
Not to mention Fan Yue’s mouth was agape enough to fit an egg, but Su Ronggui’s eyes already had a hint of boredom, though he didn’t show it. Nodding slightly, he said, "Hello. It’s late, so I’ll head off now."
