Chapter 215: 211, whose robe are you wearing!
Jon shook his head with a sigh and returned to sit on the bed.
Dressed only in a white shirt underneath, the white formal attire he had on earlier was taken off. After sitting for a bit, Jon suddenly stood up and walked towards the large wardrobe embedded in the wall.
Having a man wait outside while he showered always felt unsettling.
Titus Zane hurried through the shower, wrapped his long hair in a towel, and came out wearing a bathrobe.
Seeing the man leaning against the bedhead scrolling on his phone, Titus Zane immediately exploded with a roar.
"Jon, whose clothes are you wearing!"
On her large bed, Jon was leisurely leaning against soft pillows, looking at something on his mobile phone, adorned in a cream-colored, ink-stained plum silk robe, revealing his hairy legs.
Titus Zane recognized it; that was her robe!
Jon turned his head to look, not surprised by Titus Zane’s outburst, nor feeling embarrassed for wearing a woman’s robe, and he casually said, "I didn’t bring any pajamas, so I just picked something from the closet."
Titus Zane...
Regretting more than once throughout the night, she shouldn’t have invited this major deity over.
Indeed, the saying "It’s easy to invite a deity, but hard to send one away!" held true.
"Get down, sleep on the floor!" Before getting into bed, Titus Zane ordered coldly.
Jon looked at Titus Zane pitifully, his aqua blue eyes fluttering with long curly lashes that trembled adorably.
"Carry, I came here to help you. Do you really have the heart to make me sleep on the floor?"
"Jon, get up! Don’t make me repeat myself!" Titus Zane’s voice rose due to her irritation at Jon wearing her robe without permission.
At that moment, in the room next door, Nathan Moore was helping Olivia Zane dry her feet, stood up to carry the basin to the bathroom, and after turning around, the corners of his lips unwittingly curled up.
He knew his woman would not fancy this fake Crown Prince, it was all the wishful thinking of that foreigner, or else why would he not be allowed to sleep on the bed!
Jon put away his phone, looked at Titus Zane indifferently, and said, "Carry, don’t be so agitated. It’s not like we haven’t shared a bed before. You said she’s already sensing something. If she finds out that you’ve made me sleep on the floor, what do you think she will think?"
"No one will find out." Titus Zane walked to her own ottoman to sit down, took a pack of ladies’ cigarettes from her petite bag, and held one between her lips.
"But the man is right next door, perhaps he already heard your shout just now."
Jon got off the bed, shuffling his slippers to approach Titus Zane.
Although Titus Zane was tall and svelte, the robe was still a good deal short on Jon, barely covering his buttocks, exposing his hairy legs, which greatly mismatched the Chinese-style silk gown.
The loose and flowing sleeves also only came down to Jon’s elbows; when he raised his arms, it looked quite comical.
"What did you say?" Titus Zane’s action of lighting a cigarette paused, looking incredulously at Jon.
"The man, he’s right next door."
Jon said each word deliberately, "He carried your sister back to the room next door."
"How do you know?" Titus Zane was skeptical; if Jon had heard Nathan Moore carrying Olivia Zane back to their room, there’s no reason she wouldn’t have heard it.
"I can hear it." Jon’s expression was serious, then he added, "I am a detective, my hearing is more sensitive than ordinary people."
Titus Zane got up and tiptoed to the wall adjacent to Olivia Zane’s, the unlit cigarette still pinched between her fingers, leaning her body to press an ear against the wall.
"Nathan, are you done washing?" Olivia Zane’s voice came from the next room, not very loud, but clearly audible.
