When Gu Lili saw the red envelope the Principal was handing her, she did not take it. "I only came at the invitation of the director. Let’s skip the money. It’s just a small effort. Contact me when you need the ritual performed. The director has my contact information. Now that this matter is resolved, I won’t stay any longer. I’ll be leaving first."

She had just turned to leave when someone called out.

"Stop right there."

Gu Lili turned her head and saw that foreign male student from the dormitory entrance she had stopped, approaching her. Amidst the staring crowd, he boldly pulled off the short hair wig from her head, and suddenly her long hair cascaded down, draping over her shoulders.

The foreign male student was stunned when he saw Gu Lili in front of him.

"Antonio! What are you doing?!" The Principal, Ma Shijie, and others rushed over to pull him aside for some schooling, "That was so impolite!"

Gu Lili actually found it surprising that he would pull off her wig. "Since you seem to like this wig so much, I’ll give it to you."

"Miss Gu, don’t stoop to his level. He’s just a child."

"It’s fine."

Having said that, she gracefully departed.

The police left soon after, leaving the school staff and a few male students.

"Antonio, this is not your home. How many times do I need to say this? This is a school. You’re here to study, not to make trouble!" The Principal glared at him, furious. "Don’t think you can do whatever you want just because your family has money and power. Do you know who she is?"

"Who is she?" Antonio casually fiddled with the short hair wig in his hands.

"She’s Long Yubei’s wife. You know who Long Yubei is, right?"

Antonio abruptly looked up at him. "Long Yubei’s wife?"

"Yes, indeed. She’s done a big favor for the school, and you go and rudely pull off her wig. That’s too much!"

"I just wanted to see what she looked like with long hair."

"Alright, everyone go back to your dorms and sleep."

Holding the wig, Antonio went back to his dormitory. Lying on the bed, he thought about the events of the night. The woman he had looked at with new respect, turned out to be married?

He sat up, opened his laptop, and searched online for Long Yubei.

Sure enough, in his Wikipedia entry, he saw the section on his spouse, with the name Gu Lili written there.

He clicked on Gu Lili’s Wikipedia page.

He then looked at her wedding photos with Long Yubei.

In the photo, the couple was handsome and beautiful. For a moment, he found himself envious of Long Yubei.

Gu Lili didn’t take to heart what had happened at school. She believed that once something was over, it had nothing to do with her. She felt a sense of achievement for having handled the matter within her capabilities.

Because she could use this innate ability to help others.

When she got home, Long Yubei was sitting in the living room reading a book.

She tiptoed over, stood behind the sofa, and covered his eyes with her hands.

"In this house, no one but you would dare cover my eyes."

She let go of her hands, jumped onto the sofa, and snuggled next to him. "Do you want to hear about what happened tonight?"

"Tell me about it."

"Wait, I’m hungry. I’ll find something to eat in the kitchen."

"What do you want to eat? Let Chang Tai make it for you."
