He had a severe headache and couldn’t fall asleep.

So he lit some incense by his bed and closed his eyes to sleep.

This incense contained a sedative, and thus, he fell deeply asleep in less than a minute.

However, when he woke up at four in the morning, he suddenly discovered the number one Assassin in black clothes and a masked face lying on the ground beside his bed.

Gu Xichen’s gaze landed on where the incense had been lit, now burnt down completely.

Obviously, she was knocked out by the incense in his room while attempting to kill him.

He suddenly felt the urge to laugh.

Had the number one Assassin really fallen into his hands this easily?

Yet, he also felt a chilling terror, knowing that if not for the incense, he would have definitely been killed by her.

Immediately, Gu Xichen carried her to the bed in the secret room, swiftly took an anklet from the drawer, binding her ankles with enough length to walk, then tied each of her arms to the headboard of his bed.

He pulled off the mask covering her face, revealing such a young, Lolita-like face.

After breakfast, when he returned to the secret room, Assassin codenamed X4 had woken up.

She was struggling mightily with the iron chains.

"Stop struggling," Gu Xichen said, holding a pair of scissors, "You’ve fallen into my hands now, don’t think about escaping."

"What do you want to do?!!!"

"What do I want to do?" Gu Xichen looked at her dispassionately, "What should one do to someone who wants to kill them?"

He bent down with the scissors towards her body, and X4 panicked, but Gu Xichen was only cutting off her clothes.

Stripped her completely naked.

Leaving her bare in front of him.

X4’s face flushed with both anger and humiliation, "If you want to kill, then kill, why humiliate me!"

"Kill you?" Gu Xichen’s mouth curled into a cold smile, "Why the hurry?"

X4 closed her eyes, "Then do it."

"True to a trained Assassin, so determined," he remarked. "Someone like you probably hasn’t lived a single day as a normal person, right?"

X4 was taken aback, then blurted out four words, "I don’t need it."

Gu Xichen gave a slight smile, "I will send a message to your headquarters saying you are already dead, words are not proof, better to send some photos and evidence, right? What if I use these scissors in my hand to cut off these two spots and mail them to your headquarters, what would they think upon receiving it?"

X4 stuttered in shock, "You... you... you..."

"Not a brave, sacrificial figure? Why the stutter now?" Gu Xichen’s eyes gleamed with a gloomy cold light. "You tried to take my life, I’m just cutting these two spots off, it’s not too unfair, is it?"

X4’s face turned pale, "I’d rather you kill me, and when I’m dead, do whatever you want!"
