His car didn’t take the road back home, instead it headed down another route.

She didn’t follow him into the complex because she couldn’t enter without an access card.

She didn’t find him, but she did spot his car.

She frowned, "I’m asking where you are."

"Where else would I be? Working overtime at the office."

Could he be keeping a woman here?

The moment the elevator doors had just closed, Gu Lili dashed up the stairs. If it weren’t for her good physical condition and speed, she would never have caught up to the elevator Long Yubei took.

Panting heavily, she ran up to the 8th floor, leaning against the wall for breath. She poked her head out slightly and saw Long Yubei standing with a bag of snacks at the door of room 801.

He didn’t ring the doorbell but entered the password as if entering his own home and went right in.

As the door closed, Gu Lili’s face was full of confusion. She bit her lip, then instead of pressing for 801, she pressed for 802.

Room 802 was inhabited by a middle-aged couple who didn’t follow the news or anything, so naturally, they didn’t recognize Gu Lili.

"Big sister, who lives opposite your place?"
