“What happened?”

The voice on the other side was laughing, unhurried, “How do you plan to thank me?”

The cold and deep gaze beside her made Lu Wanwan somewhat uncomfortable.

The voice continued over the phone, now chuckling, “Don’t know what to say? Don’t worry, she’s fine now, already preparing to be sent to the hospital, should I tell you the hospital address once she’s there?”

Lu Wanwan turned her head, met those profoundly knowing eyes, and before she could speak, Gu Annan had already looked away.

The dim light from the street outside shone through the window, casting onto the sharply contoured face, emphasizing the deep lines of his features.

He stared at the windshield, having parked for a while and apparently having no immediate intention of getting out of the car, just quietly waiting.

Before she finished speaking, the car started moving.

She nodded, exhaling a long breath.

The report from behind the door, a few people carried Xu Yuan out.

“You can go to him for that favor,” Gu Annan spoke coldly and indifferently, glancing at the person who was busy checking on Xu Yuan’s condition in the car.
