The venue for this evening’s banquet was on the first floor, connected to the private beach of Niman Hotel, and the entire place was booked out.

The inside was a more formal cocktail party, but this year’s runway was set up on the beach, which had a unique charm.

Outside, instead of taking a luxurious approach, they created a relaxed and free party atmosphere. The clear swimming pool was lit up, shining brightly on the models by the poolside.

Gu Annan brushing her off for now didn’t matter; she had a purpose for being here, so she didn’t have time to listen to Ji Jiayi’s nonsense, lest she could never get away.

Lu Wanwan wandered around the cocktail party for a while, didn’t find Bai Lingyun, but instead saw Gu Annan with a cold face, surrounded by several people.

Lin Weiyang was always casual and didn’t feel out of place, “I heard there was a pool party and came over, but it’s really disappointing. A pool party like this is utterly boring. Did Brother Annan bring you?”

“Yes.” She nodded.

Lin Weiyang, hands in his pockets, said with a smile, “I never thought you would succeed. Tell me, if the news about you and Brother Annan spreads back to Dichen High School, shouldn’t those who spoke ill of you back then poke their own eyes out?”
