Gavi was in his room, happily enjoying his breakfast and the delicious cake that Freya made. The one that did not have salt and pepper in it.

And he laughed. His eyes squinting slyly, and he giggled again, before he put another bite in his mouth, and shook his head.

Of course, he did put the salt and pepper in the cake knowingly! And he did very well know that no one puts those in a cake! But he did!

And why? Well, just because he did not like them.

That woman he remembered had also talked bad things about his momma back in the restuarant. And for that reason he could not even enjoy his food properly there!

And today, the whole family was here to bully his momma!?!

He might be small, but he well understood the surrounding!

He might not be able to grasp the whole situation that included adult matters, but by the look of everything, he could very well say that they were here to bully his momma. And his momma was not happy to have him here.

Also, he had last time overhead a few bad things that the woman had said about his momma. So, he just took a small revenge.

Thinking about it, Gavi scratched his nose. Cough* Well honestly, he did not really want to put pepper in it. He just wanted to add salt in the cake. And he did.

He added lots of salt to the cakes. But later he found of that it was pepper! So, what should he do? He added a pinch of salt too. That explained why their lips started burning.

He only had the intention of making them gag with his bad the cake would taste with so much salt in it. But everything else was a mistake.

Anyway, he knew that his momma was going to scold him now. But at least he got the satisfaction.

But anyway, he also felt his heart giddy when his momma scolded the old woman for calling him ’evil’!

Cough* Well, he knew that he was perhaps a littleee evil, but hearing anyone say it so rudely like that, it still hurt!!!

Moreover, he was just a baby! His feelings were so fragile, alright!!

Downstairs, Dove smirked a little. She had seen the glance of her son smirking, and it instantly confirmed her doubt that Gavi did that knowingly.

Of course, she had a very bid doubt and she knew it. She had held her child in her stomach for a whole nine months and then raised him. How could she not know it?

Gavi wasn’t the type to put rightly go and serve food and drinks to people he doesn’t know personally.

Of course, he sometimes does it, but either when he is playing a prank like he does Sometimes with Lisa.

Or sometimes really with good intentions like he does with Senior Sterling.

And Dove was a hundred percent sure that the latter was not the case so.

Moreover, Gavi was smart enough to know that there doesn’t go any salt and pepper with cakes. So, of course what happened was done knowingly by him.

And Dove couldn’t disagree that seeing that indeed felt a little satisfying after the irritation and anger she was feeling towards them.

But that did not mean that she would let Gavi go away without giving him an earful. A lesson needs to be taught, to matter if she was a little pleased by it.

And defending him? She wasn’t going to let her son be called evil, specially not by them.

Anyway, after Gavi left, Dove and everyone got back to the topic finally again. Dove folded her arms looking at them and sneered, "So CEO Philip, you want to know why I cut the ties off with the Davis’ Enterprise and then have been deliberately ignoring you, isn’t it?"

Philip, Roan and Cara together had noticed how Dove had given calling them Uncle and Aunt. She was now on formal titles.

But anyway, Philip and Roan nodded theke heads and Dive smirked before saying, "Well, everything started with Mrs Davis. She can explain better anything related to it." Dove said, her gaze falling on Mrs Cara.

Soon, everyone looked at Cara, and then at Dove. Their eyebrows furrowing in confusion and Mr Philip, who was first of all not liking anything that was happening from the start, was now getting even more annoyed at the confusion and he said coldly, "What do you mean, Dove? You had cut ties with our company because of Cara?"

Cara, who was already dumbfolded, not having an idea for a moment about what was going on, suddenly felt the sky above her head crashing when she heard what her husband said. "What?! What do you mean by you have cut ties with our company because of me! What did I do regarding that?" She was baffled, because that did not sound right for her in any way.

Dove internally smirked and then looked at Cara and shrugged, "Yes, Mrs Cara. Did you not say that? So I just decided to follow what she said?"

Cara instantly riled up in panic and she stood up from the couch and pointed fingers at Dove, "Hey girl! What are you even saying?! When did I tell you to cut ties with our family’s company?! And have I got bitten by an mad dog to tell you something like that?!"

Cara almost yelled in panic as she could almost feel her husband’s dangerous glare on her, that almost penetrated in her soul.

Her husband was the type of man, who wouldn’t want to have anything much to do or say about anything she does, unless that affects his business or money in any way possible.

And if something like that happens, and if that fies in the negative, then it was bad. Really bad.

And just thinking about it, the hairs on her neck stood up. She did not want to think about it! And she looked at Dove frantically.
