Cara was the last one to start walking. She had kept her head casted downwards, in her own dilemma.

It was only last evening that Cara came to know from her husband and son had something like this has happened, when they came back home fuming in anger.

And when she first heard about that, she also started fuming in anger.

Though, Cara had not much knowledge in business and kept herself out of it most of the times, yet she very well knew and understood that this was a matter of a lot of money.

She was already enraged at Dove at how she had humiliated her in front of her friends. She did not yet find a good time to tell about it to her husband as they were quite busy lately, but seeing that Dove has already done something to enrage her husband and son too, she did not say it anymore.

They were riled up enough to teach her lesson already. So, when at the dinner table, Philip and Noah were discussing about visiting the Sterling Mansion early in the morning to get Dove there! And if by ahy chance she wasn’t there, then they would talk to Senior Sterling about it.

Cara too, gave her fair share of contribution in talking everything about Dove, that could possibly fuel the already raging fire in her husband’s and son’s mind.

And at that moment, Cara also proposed to go to the Sterling Mansion along with them the next morning. It was nothing much, but she just wanted to see Philip and Noah teach a good lesson to that wench! She could at least satisfy down her anger by looking at that.

Philip after a second’s thought also agreed to it. Though Cara, was not involved in business directly, but she too had her fair amount of shares in the company. Also, if they went as a whole family, the Sterlings would have even more reason to invite them in, even if they plan otherwise, or else it would reflect very badly on them even at a personal agd familial level.

So he agreed.

Initially, Cara was very energetic thinking that it would be very interesting to see how Dove can defend herself now after creating such a chaos for herself. Wasn’t she acting such a bitch last day, humiliating her in front of her friends?!

Even while on the way, Cara had come thinking that she would gloat at her. But then when she was outside the mansion, Cara felt an ominous feeling. As if something would not be right, but she had waved it away thinking that she was thinking too much.

And now, when she saw Dove, and the way she had stared at her, and that smirk she had in her face, if Cara was being honest, it had sent a chill down her spine.

She had seen this girl since she was a young girl. But now looking at her, it feels as if she doesn’t recognise her at all. Was she always like this?

And the truth is, she was always like this. But she was also the kind, let going and compassionate type. And it would completely depend on how the other person would act.

Cara at this moment, very strongly felt that something might go wrong. But then she shook her head. No, no. What could possibly go wrong? Nothing would.

She said to herself.

"Please sit down." Freya asked them politely. The Davis’ family were clearly in the foul mood with everything happening. Especially with the level of lack of concern Senior Sterling was showing regarding the matter.

Philip had expected something more stern from Senior Sterling.

Not only was her kot stern about it, but he did not even ask Dove a second time, let alone be strict about it.

Freya at this moment was trying to not let the matter aggravate too much. What if the situation went too much out of hand to be known to the social circle? Freya feared things to go the wrong way, that would bring any kind of shame to the family’s name.

After all, then it would affect everyone of them.

And if Freya was being honest, she was also very displeased with what she was hearing about Dove.

If it was in the past, then maybe with the kind of relationship she had with Dove, she may have till now said a few sharp things already.

But something did change? Both with her and Dove and the dynamics within them. Was it because of Gavi? Who knew? But there is no longer the same kind of feelings of dislike she had for Dove like she did years back for no apparent reason.

Just then, a young voice was heard, and turning their heads, they saw a little boy looking a tray and bringing it to them quite carefully.

"Here! Cakes for the guests!" Gavi cripped happily. His eyes turning into crescent moons.

The tray had three small plates of cakes that were cut into slices. And he personally brought them.

Philip and Roan looked at the little kid, and they frowned in confusion at first. But then they realised that this was Dove’s son. A topic that many people were interested in talking about in their circle these days.

Meanwhile, Roan on seeing the kid, his face blackened. It wasn’t as if he had any beef with the kid personally. But seeing him, it reminded him of the fact that, Dove had choose someone else over him.

A person she claimed to be in love with.

It reminded him to the night when he had seen her with that unknown man.

And that inevitably made him think of how many more nights she had spent with that man and she conceived her son.

And all that left him feeling bitter. He had always had a major crush on him. He really wanted to be with her. But Dove had never allowed him to come closer to her.

According to her, it wasn’t appropriate as she wasn’t of legal age yet. But somewhere Roan always felt like she said that as an excuse and she did not like really like him romantically as an engaged couple.
