Monster Harem In The Tower -
Chapter 99: Killing Dime
Chapter 99: Killing Dime
He stood up in frustration, the theatrical calmness of a post-wet-dream moment evaporating instantly.
The burden of being someone who must be useful to humanity had once again been scribbled into the slice-of-life script of his existence.
A tube popped out from the system—still containing yesterday’s leftover piss.
With a few contractions from his bladder, he finished quickly.
He returned the tube into the system.
A notification popped up again—one he was already tired of seeing, despite it only showing up once before—then disappeared just as quickly.
He remained standing there, feeling the stickiness around his thighs caused by the increased volume of cum—thanks to the Tower Manager’s holy puff yesterday.
He let out a breath.
"My body still can’t restrain itself. Even though I tried to reflect like a stoic philosopher yesterday, that damn blessing ended up giving me a wet dream."
He looked up at the sky, then lowered his gaze to his own reflection in the flowing river.
His brow twitched slightly.
Fuck... why the hell did I start dancing in that dream?
He crossed his arms.
And when I fucked her—after being mocked and humiliated—it felt so damn good.
I didn’t feel any burden at all.
He tried to understand himself.
Only one conclusion emerged clearly and it was lingering in his head for a long time:
I can treat a woman like a pocket pussy if she’s disrespectful or if I don’t share a deep connection with her.
He stretched his body.
"And the shitty part is... in just a few days, my relationship with the Monster Girls developed too fast. Now I feel guilty if I’m the only one getting off."
He sighed.
"Am I becoming soft? Like one of those MCs in a cuckold anime?"
A mixed feeling rose from a soul that never predicted how biological response could still bypass erotic incongruence.
After a while, the Sapoa leaves were full of sap.
Finally, he washed his pants and underwear, wrung them out, and placed them on a rock before rinsing the lower part of his foul-smelling body.
Done with the wet-and-soapy session in the river, he walked toward the Prunus Vitalis tree— where the pants Livia been tied to the branch yesterday were still there.
He hung the newly washed pants and underwear on a branch of the Prunus Vitalis to dry. Then, pulling out the branch that had been stuck like the first flag planted on the moon, he untied his pants from it.
He lifted them up.
Cold. Sweat-stained.
"Fuck. I guess I have no choice but to wear this again," he grumbled.
He put the cold, sweat-stained pants on—like a prisoner forced to slip into his punishment uniform again.
"Hope my pp doesn’t get all rashy."
Just as he finished adjusting the waistband, he heard soft footsteps behind him.
Validia.
The giant figure stood there, her cheeks slightly puffed—probably fresh off chewing two kilos of breakfast. Her massive frame cast a distorted shadow over the riverbank.
"I’m done eating," she said casually, brushing leftover crumbs off her palm.
Nathan only glanced at her. No comment.
Validia looked to the side, then scratched her cheek with the back of her hand— like a new employee about to ask something she don’t understand in front of her arrogant senior.
"Umm... wanna start uprooting sapoa trees again?" she asked softly.
Nathan raised one eyebrow.
Her voice dropped half a notch.
"It’s just... the others aren’t around right now. So... I mean, I can join, right? I won’t bump into anyone..."
Nathan took a slow breath. Long.
"...Let’s go."
The two of them walked toward the area planned for the ranch.
A place not yet fully cleared—still littered with thick roots, sharp leaves, and remnants of wild life that didn’t yet know it was about to be replaced by production pens.
They finally arrived at the area partially cleared the day before—the spot that would later become a ranch.
The previously sorted sapoa logs, organized neatly by Validia, were still stacked in one corner like the remains of an ambitious project that had been paused—not because of war... but because someone got sleepy.
Nathan stared at them for a moment, then took a slow breath.
Still neat. Thank god it wasn’t messed up by a Ferrofang lizard whose mom Validia probably ate yesterday, he muttered.
Validia bowed her head, smiling proudly.
"I’ll do the pulling and sorting, okay? You just yank them like usual, I’ll handle the rest," she said with enthusiasm.
Nathan didn’t respond. He just nodded, then stepped toward one of the sapoa trees still untouched.
With one pull, he began.
Craaaakk—!
Roots popped. Soil split. Dirt clung to his pants, which weren’t fully dry yet.
He kept going.
One by one, trees were yanked out—some easily, some reluctantly— with sarcastically twisted roots that seemed to say, "Why me, bro?"
Sweat dripped from his forehead. His back was soaked. But not because of sex this time.
Not even from guilt.
Just... work.
Weird work. But work.
Craakk. Fwump. Crackkk.
"Well... at least I still have something to do," he muttered softly—like an anime narrator trying to study for finals to forget someone who broke his heart.
His hands kept pulling.
His body grew warmer.
His breath quickened.
And suddenly, he realized something.
This is healthier than doomscrolling until I find a sad boy quote that says, ’Never depend on people. Everyone has a leaving phase.’ He paused, then chuckled softly.
His shoulders shook gently.
Validia glanced at him. "What’s funny?"
Nathan just shook his head while yanking another tree—harder this time.
"I’m... just being sane."
And that day, for the first time since entering the Tower—Nathan worked not to escape his horniness, not because the system forced him, but simply because he had hands... and in front of him, there were trees.
And somehow, that felt more peaceful than scrolling for quotes that justify bad behavior until it evolves into something the brain starts to tolerate as normal.
Thanks to Validia’s help, everything moved much faster. Nathan kept uprooting trees while occasionally glancing at Validia, who looked more cheerful than yesterday.
Some time later—
[Ding!]
[Forest Clearance Progress: 90%]
Nathan stared at the transparent screen, his breath still uneven.
Sweat dripped from his forehead, and his armpits were already functioning like sponges soaked in leftover ramen broth.
"Hmm? Ninety percent?" His eyes swept across the area.
No more trees. Just open ground, heating under the sun—
and the sound of Validia chewing quietly behind him.
"So... what’s the remaining ten percent, System?"
A new panel popped up.
[Ding!]
[Remaining Clearance Target: Small Rocks and Persistent Grass]
Nathan blinked. "...rocks and grass?"
Validia tilted her head slightly. "What are we doing now?"
Nathan raised an eyebrow.
"Uhh... apparently we have to clear out the rocks and grass too."
Validia paused for a second.
Then she smiled—not a polite smile, but the kind of smile people make when they suddenly remember they’re OP at something very specific.
"Leave it to me," she said calmly.
Nathan turned toward her. "Okay...?"
Validia slowly got on one knee.
Her right hand lowered to touch the ground—moving slowly, like an anime character preparing to summon a beast from some random dimension.
A serious aura radiated from her eyes.
Her long hair began to flutter, despite the total absence of wind.
The ground trembled.
Tiny caterpillars fled the scene.
