Monster Harem In The Tower -
Chapter 115: Still Smiling
Chapter 115: Still Smiling
The tutorial panel disappeared.
Without warning.
The first axe fell, slicing through the Kralven log, shattering the wind’s dominance over the air.
Domina swung with precision—like someone trained from birth.
Livia—though slower—followed with explosive enthusiasm, every strike accompanied by spirited mutters.
Velmora, as usual, chose the most dramatic stance. Her hair fluttered, her tail swished with flair after every swing.
Nathan stood still for a moment, watching them.
"They learn fast, huh..."
His breath was short. A bit heavy.
He worked alongside them. But... his heart wasn’t in it.
There was a space he couldn’t fill.
A hole in his thoughts—shaped exactly like Validia.
His hands moved automatically, cutting the Kralven logs as instructed by the panel earlier.
"I have nothing to give her..." he whispered.
He glanced toward Validia—still standing, holding the other girls’ new clothes with just one finger.
Validia and Morvessa not wielding an axe, not raising a hand, not asking for anything.
Time passed. Before he realized it, the stack of neatly cut Kralven logs had grown tall.
Nathan stood up again. He glanced at Validia, as if unwilling to let the beautiful giantess feel left behind.
At some point, Morvessa had vanished from her shoulder.
Time felt like it slowed.
Suddenly, Domina stopped. Followed by Livia and Velmora.
Nobody said anything. But somehow, they all understood what had to be done.
"Nathan," Domina said softly. "It’s almost Eclipse."
Livia nodded with a serious face. "If we’re outside during it... we might lose control again, like last time..."
All three of them handed the axes back to Nathan.
Unprompted.
Then they moved toward Validia and retrieved their clothes from her massive finger.
Validia just smiled.
"We’ll head back to the cave," Domina said.
"Don’t stay out too long," added Livia, waving her hand.
Velmora didn’t say anything. She only looked at Nathan and waved from the hollow in the ground she called her bed.
And then there were two.
Nathan and Validia.
The clouds seemed to freeze. The wind flowed without sound.
Validia turned, her eyes soft.
"Nathan," she said gently. "Come on!"
Nathan froze for a moment.
He remembered.
He once said he’d accompany her.
He makes the Imagery Axe become one and disappeared into thin air.
He murmured—almost inaudibly,
"I wonder... just how small she can make herself?"
A faint smile curled on his lips.
Part sarcasm. Part sincerity.
"Well... doesn’t matter. At least, I can keep her company for now."
Nathan scratched his head and looked around.
No one was talking. Not even the system.
It wasn’t awkward... just quiet.
Like everyone knew what they were supposed to do, but no one felt like saying it out loud.
He glanced at Validia for a second.
Still the same expression. Still holding it in.
He sighed. "Alright... guess I’ll just roll with it," he muttered, then kept moving.
Nathan took a step forward—and leapt with [Temporary Physical Enhancement] toward Validia.
Nathan reached Validia’s side.
He didn’t even get the chance to speak when her soft voice reached him.
"Climb... onto my shoulder."
Without hesitation, Nathan—still under the effect of [Temporary Physical Enhancement]—leapt onto her right shoulder.
It was soft. Warm. Steady.
Validia began walking into the forest.
But instead of heading into the thick woods, she moved toward an open clearing—one Nathan had never seen before.
The sky had begun to darken, but the light had not yet fully disappeared.
She stopped.
Then slowly crouched down.
One hand reached toward the earth.
Crk...
Crack...
CRACKKK...
Strange sounds echoed from beneath the surface.
The soil in front of her began forming a perfect circle—like a giant jar lid—with smooth, symmetrical patterns.
That circle gradually lifted, floating several centimeters above the ground.
Validia picked it up.
Set it to the side.
Then—she placed her hand again on the ground, now over the hole formed by the lifted circle.
The earth... sank.
Slowly but steadily.
Like water draining from a cracked tub.
Silently.
Nathan sat still on her shoulder.
His eyes wide open.
"...Wow."
"Get down now," Validia said softly.
Nathan obeyed. He hopped down from her shoulder.
Validia stood tall.
And... her body began to shrink.
Still tall. Still massive.
But now—roughly the height of a giant tree.
And...
The thin cloth that had covered her chest and lower half... slipped off.
Nathan held his breath.
His eyes turned away—reflexively.
But then drifted back.
"Fuck... I’m hard."
Validia calmly picked up the thin fabric, gently rolled it in her hands, then looked at Nathan with a small smile.
"Nathan... go inside."
Nathan quickly bowed his head.
"Y-yeah..."
He stepped into the earthen chamber first.
The floor was flat. The walls were soft. The air warm.
Validia followed him down.
As she entered, Nathan could see more clearly—the silhouette of her large, gentle body, the curves, the motion of her muscles, each one moving like a wave.
But what took his breath away...
Was Validia’s face.
Still calm. Still gentle.
As if her massive, naked body meant nothing compared to the small smile on her lips.
She reached for the circular earth-lid from earlier—
And sealed the chamber shut.
Lying down slowly as she did.
The hole was almost completely closed, except for a tiny slit in one corner—
Just enough for a faint line of light to shine through.
And then—
The Eclipse began.
The outer light dimmed.
The temperature gently dropped.
The sky above the tower pulled a shroud of dusk over itself.
Validia exhaled.
A long breath. Heavy. Deep.
Nathan turned.
He looked at her face—up close.
Validia was curled like a newborn.
Her breasts softly pressing against each other, her hands clutching the thin cloth, her breathing uneven, her eyes slightly wet.
Her smile was still there.
She’s still smiling, Nathan thought. Even now.
She opened her mouth.
Just a little.
"Nathan..."
Her voice was low. Almost a whisper.
He leaned in. His heart skipped.
She paused.
As if the words were fighting their way out from the depths of her chest.
"I..."
