Monster Harem In The Tower
Chapter 106: Try (While) Hard Teacher

Chapter 106: Try (While) Hard Teacher

Nathan sat on a log, his breath finally steady after the hard labor of chopping down all the required Kralven logs.

Sweat trickled from his temples to his chin—thanks to the sunlight and the warmth of All-Mighty Colossal Pussy aroma.

He looked around. The wooden pieces were scattered neatly, as if this forest had just been taken over by a greedy businessman with zero concern for the local primitive society.

Even though the wood pieces varied in shape, everything had gone smoothly—like an overpowered anime plot fresh out of the oven.

Finally done, he muttered softly, as if the trees could hear him. But truthfully, what he felt wasn’t relief—but a strange emptiness. The kind of void that always invited strange thoughts to creep in.

In the distance, forest birds chirped softly. Validia was still squatting behind him, doing who-knows-what. But the silence felt like an after-sex moment—without the sex. Just labor, wood, and stillness.

He stood up, stretched his aching back, then glanced at the wide clearing. The system suddenly reappeared.

[Ding!]

[Ultimate Architect Skill – Active.]

"What?" he frowned.

Nathan’s vision suddenly shifted. The ground before him glowed faintly—lined with grids, measurements, and transparent slots indicating where each wood piece should go. The world turned into an absurd construction game.

Should I stick the pieces in place?

He stood slowly, picked up a wood piece, and placed it onto one of the blinking slots. The wood fused instantly. No nails, no glue—just a soft "tock," like the perfect hug between object and destiny.

[Ding!]

[-1 Mana]

"Mana?"

[Each building activity using the Ultimate Architect Skill consumes mana equivalent to the original physical effort required.]

[No nails needed. Mana will be used as adhesive.]

Nathan stared at the panel. Nice. I didn’t want to use nails anyway.

He kept moving, his eyes focused. His hands guided by divine intuition. One by one, the wood pieces clicked into place—forming a foundation he had never even imagined. Like a giant puzzle—but far beyond treehouse-level complexity.

Validia, still sitting, now leaned forward slightly. She slowly lowered her upper body near Nathan, who was fitting the wood like puzzle pieces.

"Wah..." she murmured. "Nathan... you look like that magic beast I always imagined during Eclipse."

Nathan glanced at her, confused.

"Imagined?" he replied softly.

"Yeah. I used to imagine strange beasts building weird structures from wood to calm myself when I was alone in the hole." Validia said innocently—unaware that her words made Nathan choke on his own breath.

He continued fitting wood pieces while feeling increasingly compelled to stay with Validia tomorrow.

Light footsteps approached from the riverbank.

Domina arrived first— her hair messy, eyes sparkling with victory. In her hand, a long branch served as a makeshift fruit pouch, filled with bizarre items: fruit resembling bananas, but translucent like glass, reflecting sunlight like living crystals.

Behind her, Livia hopped along, holding a single crystal banana. Her breath was ragged, her face glistening with sweat, but she kept smiling. Without hesitation, she stuck her tongue out and licked the banana’s tip—slowly, like a kitten discovering ice cream, but with an absurd sensuality that felt either intentional or terrifyingly natural.

Nathan froze. His eyes narrowed slightly. Then lowered. His crotch—yeah, he could feel the fabric tightening.

"Holy suii..." he whispered.

Domina, without a word, noticed his expression and tossed him one of the crystal bananas.

"Here. You look like you really want to taste it," she smiled.

Nathan caught it one-handed, a bit awkwardly. Then took a bite. Coldness spread across his tongue—sweet, tangy, and oddly like... melted hope.

Livia giggled softly. Domina sat beside Validia, who was still watching the construction.

Another weird fruit again, Nathan thought as he chewed.

---

[Ding!]

You have consumed [Crystal Banafruit]. You gained 10 XP.

New skill acquired: [Sweetcore Conversion]

[Skill: Sweetcore Conversion (Lv.1)]

Allows you to convert sweetness from food or biological fluids into stamina energy. Every 10 grams of sugar equals 1 additional stamina point.

Note: Effect is temporary; stamina reverts to normal 30 minutes after use.

"Hey, stop summoning panels. Let’s eat first. Come rest under the Prunus tree, you’re sweating so much," Domina invited.

Nathan nodded. They moved beneath the Prunus Vitalis tree. Validia followed. And, as always, whenever they gathered, Morvesaa arrived to perch on Validia’s shoulder—silently watching Nathan.

Meanwhile, Nathan sat in the middle of the Rabbit Fighters. He tried thinking about the new skill he just got. But his thoughts didn’t last long—immediately derailed by Livia continuing to suck on the crystal banana without actually eating it.

Nathan swallowed. Damn. This is truly frustrating. After all the soul-wrecking internal conflict, this is just infuriating now, he thought.

What should I do? Just eat the goddamn bana— his thoughts stopped. He remembered the Tower Manager’s words—telling him to stop spiraling in confusion that only brought him suffering.

I have to start teaching them something. He stood.

Domina and Livia glanced at him, but said nothing.

Nathan picked up a branch—one that had fallen from the Prunus Vitalis tree.

Nathan took a deep breath.

[Ding!]

[Temporary Physical Enhancement – Activated.]

His body instantly felt lighter. Energy seemed to spread throughout his limbs. He swung the long branch at the grassy ground, and with one sweeping motion, the grass lifted. He kept going, eventually flattening the patch of uprooted earth with his feet.

The result: a wide, clean stretch of bare ground. Like a chalkboard—but natural.

Nathan stood tall, then shouted, "Oii! All of you, come here for a bit!"

Domina and Livia turned, then jogged lightly toward Nathan. Validia, who had been sitting by the edge, glanced over—then decided to resume her crouch.

Morvessa, as usual, floated down from a tree and landed softly beside Nathan, suspicion etched on her face.

"I want to teach you something," said Nathan.

He began scratching letters into the earth with the long branch—forming one by one: A. B. C. D...

Domina and Livia whispered to each other while squinting—expressions mixed between awe and confusion.

Morvessa tilted her head.

Validia? Still crouched, eyes full of enthusiasm like someone watching an alien acoustic concert.

Nathan finished the alphabet from A to Z. He stood, dusted off his pants, then pointed at the still-warm letters on the ground.

"This," he said softly but firmly, "is the alphabet."

The Monster Girls stared, unblinking.

"These letters," Nathan continued, "are the foundation of all words—from my race, the human race. If you can read these, you can read my system panels."

Domina nodded slowly, though her eyes still looked blank.

Livia put her index finger on her lower lip, then looked at Domina.

"So... Nathan is Kin," Livia said while nodding to herself.

"K-Kin?" Nathan blinked, confused.

"Yeah," Livia replied. "The ones who have letters and..." she scratched her head. "Umm..." she held her chin. "I forgot again, heheh..." she smiled.

Nathan was briefly startled, but there was no warning from the system—no notification about forbidden memories being accessed, or protections weakening. Everything flowed casually, as if Livia’s forgetfulness was perfectly normal.

But what really puzzled him was how Livia and Domina spoke of "Kin" as if they weren’t part of the writing race.

He glanced at Morvessa. The mysterious bird girl remained silent, but her eyes moved quickly—like absorbing meaning.

Validia? Still crouched. But now, one eyebrow was raised.

Nathan nodded to himself. ’Okay, seems like they’re not struggling with this. But why... do they talk about letters like it belongs to "others"?’

Without warning, Livia stepped forward— her feet touching the soil beside Nathan’s writing. She squatted, then scraped the dirt with her toes like a lazy child avoiding her hands.

She began shaping an area of earth like Nathan had done.

"Oi, give me the branch!" she called out to Nathan.

Nathan handed it over.

Still squatting, with her caramel tits glistening and bunny ears twitching, Livia began etching into the dirt.

Line by line, she carved out strange shapes. Not A, not B—none of the Latin letters Nathan recognized. The shapes curved, crossed, and looped like a drunk worm trying to dance.

"What is that?" Nathan asked softly—more to himself than to her.

Livia looked up, smiling. "These... are our letters," she said.

Nathan swallowed. He stared at the strange shapes. At first they looked like random scribbles. But the longer he looked, there was a pattern. A rhythm. As if they weren’t just symbols—but sheet music.

Morvessa stepped forward, her feet light on the soil. Her eyes scanned Livia’s writing, then she nodded slowly. "I... understand," she said.

But before Nathan could ask anything else, Validia—still in her full intellectual-crouch position—suddenly raised her head.

"What are those scribbles?" she asked bluntly. "I don’t get it."

Nathan instinctively glanced at Validia. Then squinted.

Wait... isn’t she also a monster? he thought.

But then, as if slapped by realization, Nathan understood one thing:

She’s the most different. Her only monstrous feature is the horns. The rest... she’s just a huge human.

No long ears like Domina and Livia.

No serpent tail like Velmora.

No wings or sharp avian eyes like Morvessa.

Just a pair of horns—horns that, if removed, would make Validia look like an ordinary adult woman.

No prominent muscles like Domina and Livia.

No reptile-like pupils like Velmora.

No overly pale skin layers like Morvessa.

--

"Na... Nathan." A trembling voice came from behind him.

Nathan turned around. "Velmora," he said.

"This is for you, ehe..." She smiled.
