MMORPG: Divine Mech Hunter
Chapter 1230 - Chapter 1230 Chapter 1230 Difficult Problem

Chapter 1230: Chapter 1230: Difficult Problem Chapter 1230: Chapter 1230: Difficult Problem Four days later, the spaceship completed its spatial jump and emerged directly from the wormhole. At last, they could see the normal starry sky.

Travelers admired the beautiful starry sky, completely different from that of the Solar System, and through the warship’s telescopes they explored the Solar System from this remote point. Gazing at home from the depths of the cosmic starry sky had its unique charm, and the travelers frenziedly took photos to commemorate the experience.

This trip was truly worth remembering for a lifetime for the ordinary person.

In the coming period, the warship would take the travelers to visit five of the most unique Magical Fantasy Planets.

Then, they would gather with other Alien races on an Earth-like planet in another part of the starry sky. Many Alien races didn’t even have the interstellar travel capability that their powerful deities (Gods) possessed.

The Earthlings used their own ships to transport their representatives to this planet for the first joint meeting.

This Earth-like planet, transformed by Earth’s current technology, had become freely habitable for humans and formed a new administrable planet. This planet was also called the Bridgehead, symbolizing mankind’s integration into the cosmic civilization.

The people were truly wide-eyed, witnessing several Magical Fantasy Planets’ exotic vistas. They encountered food chains different from Earth’s, ones that were even more magical and harsh–it was like stepping into a Magic world.

Various Magic creatures and Magic plants were everywhere, dazzling the eyes. Unfortunately, humans could only utilize these unique resources from within new Mechs forged of strange metal.

This was why the new Mechs were temporarily weak in combat but why humanity was determined to study them.

Humans seemed naturally repellent to these elements; even those with strong spiritual power couldn’t wield Magic–only through Divine Metal could they manage it.

The most astonishing was a planet Earthlings named Hell star exotic planet, which was extremely close to its star, its surface covered by various volcanoes and magma.

Filled with all sorts of magic gemstones, it was initially deemed a barren planet.

Later, they discovered the planet had a hidden underground realm divided into multiple layers, much like the legendary hell.

This subterranean world had peculiar plants that served as light sources, underground rivers, mountain ranges of amber, and even a vast underground ocean. This planet was also the world of the Lizardmen. According to probes, surface-dwelling Lizardmen, fiery and feral, were sworn enemies of the underground Lizardmen, making communication impossible.

They even encountered the Dragon God they worshiped. According to the Lizardmen, their Dragon God had existed for tens of thousands of years–it was a typical Western dragon, but there was only one.

However, instrumental analysis suggested that this magical creature’s lifespan was only a few thousand years; the Lizardmen’s civilization was primitive, lacking written records. The thousands of years were likely an exaggeration.

During this time, an incident occurred that stunned everyone; many wanted to take photos of the real dragon, but no device could capture an image of this Dragon God, to everyone’s regret.

After nearly a month of touring various planets, the warship finally reached the Bridgehead planet.

This planet now featured a huge city filled with magical colors. According to the flight attendant’s introduction, in the next twenty years, favorable policies would be implemented to recruit immigrants to settle on this planet.

The people on the warship felt a lingering sense of incompleteness, and their communicators stored a vast number of photos.

Various Magical Races that had made contact had mostly arrived, and the real exchange conference was about to commence.

The so-called exchange was actually about general formations and policies; the high-ranking members of each Race had mostly reached agreement, only some details were still under negotiation.

This exchange, plainly speaking, served dual purposes: it allowed civilians their first contact, testing interstellar interaction, and importantly, it declared military power.

After all, besides humans, many planets lacked independent interstellar travel capability. Their deified beings, although capable, wouldn’t lower themselves to mere transport.

Naturally, the transport stations had to be constructed by humans, placing them as leaders of the Race alliance meetings.

However, while the various Races accepted this out of necessity, they were still unwilling, considering the Earthlings too weak.

Many Races supported humans, but many others were hostile, and many elite representatives of those Races covertly allied to embarrass the humans during the final exchange to prevent them from becoming too proud.

During the tourism, the humans also witnessed Magic-wielding Intelligent Species, but the human Mech Warriors, constantly patrolling fighters, and even higher altitude space warships effectively deterred the Alien Races. Despite some conflicts and friction, no major incidents occurred.

Soon, the council began, and countless people gathered in a gigantic stadium built by humans.

Displayed on the screen, each Race began demonstrating their military power, starting with a space warship weapon demonstration that fired from outer space, leveling a desolate mountain and even destroying a planet in another small star system.

With fighter jets and naval fleet combos shown, not just the strong representatives of Alien Races but even their elite grew anxious–weak Earthlings had acquired power surpassing the gods, a tremendous deterrence.

So, before the actual personal power exhibitions even began, tensions sparked; every Race wanted to undercut Earthlings’ aplomb in this segment.

The beautiful captain approached Li Yao with a solemn face, sighed, and said, “According to the higher-ups, your new Mech squad wasn’t supposed to participate this time, as the technology application is still immature. But since various Races know we’re using Divine Metal, they’ve teamed up, so at least ten of you new Mechs must participate.”

Li Yao’s expression darkened, “Ten people, that’s a lot. They’ve only just started to master the new Mechs and their skills are limited. How can they possibly compete with the true Magical Races in terms of Magic and skills? I was thinking of maybe two or three, including myself, to avoid losing too many points.”

“There’s no helping it. It’s an order. We’re military personnel; we just have to follow it.” The captain shared a document with Li Yao directly, “Take a good look; these are the rules of the competition. You must try your best. This match will be truly broadcasted, not just to Earthlings but also to major tribes from major Magical Fantasy Planets. It’s going to have a huge impact.”…
