Li Yao left one thing unsaid; although the Array seemed simple, activating it required immense spiritual power to connect with the Void, stretching unknowably far to draw the will of the Vampire ancestors. Without it, the Array and the sacrifice wouldn’t alert the ancestors.

That’s why only those who have sworn allegiance to the true thirteen Vampire clans have a better chance of survival, for only their Princes possess enough spiritual power to communicate with the ancestors and know their coordinates.

In his previous life, by a stroke of luck and through a mission to escort a Vampire who had defected to the Dark Camp, Li Yao succeeded. Although the mission failed, the dying vampire handed him a Rune Stone, allowing him to complete the mission.

Li Yao devoted himself to studying archaeology and alchemy and was the first to crack the secrets within the Rune Stone, which contained the core secrets of the Vampire race. He then resealed the Rune Stone without making a sound.

With these secrets, Li Yao gained many benefits, which greatly aided him in becoming a Demigod.

However, there was no need to disclose these details to Jasmine and the others, and it might be years before they understood what conditions were required to initiate a blood banquet.

“Brother, a hundred beasts, all elite level or above, not one less,” Wangyu arrived with his men to find Li Yao’s group.

Li Yao glanced over and saw that most were velociraptors, and even a few Blood Vampbats. His eyes sparked with a new possibility.

He approached a Silver-class Vampbat and took out the Death Scythe, cutting off the Vampire Fangs and plunged them fiercely into his artery.

Wangyu, seeing Li Yao’s body turn green and the atmosphere around him grow chilling and his health plummeting as the fangs sank in, asked, “Brother, what are you doing?”

“Don’t just stand there, don’t give me Detoxification, keep my health up, quick, bring more healers. Don’t let the poison kill me, damn it’s so cold it’s freezing my blood.”

Li Yao’s face turned green, and he began shuddering uncontrollably. Several healers worked together to stabilize his health.

“Someone come here, hold these Vampbat fangs, and when you see my poison is about to wear off, give me a stab in the back, fast.”

Someone took the Vampbat fangs and did as Li Yao instructed.

“No matter if we attract the Iron Legion’s air force or not, the lower-order Vampire Blood Race will temporarily lose control. It would be best if the Iron Legion could strike, but if they don’t, then it’s up to us. Alright, let’s begin. Kill all the beasts, let their blood fill the pit, then lead the people away, except for a few healers and those helping me continue the poisoning, everyone else hide.”

With each Rune Stone that sparkled, the whole Array shone with a blood-red light, and Li Yao’s body began floating, enveloped in a sphere of blood-colored light, as if frozen in that moment.

“Oh great Ancestor of the Blood Race, here is a sumptuous blood feast prepared for you; your descendant asks for your blessing… in the name of blood, to connect with the Star Realm.”

As Li Yao’s final words fell, a colossal blood-colored pillar of light that stretched over a hundred yards skyward pierced the sky of The Ancient God World, reaching into the cosmic starry space.

Wangyu and the others gaped at the towering blood-colored pillar, while Jasmine exchanged a glance, both feeling that Li Yao was too mysterious – for a player to know such things was utterly inconceivable.

Meanwhile, in the Dead Light Area, countless mighty beings sensed this presence, and instantly, all of them sprang into action.

A small castle’s shadow suddenly appeared several thousand yards away from the Array. Then the shadow gradually became clearer, and a multitude of Vampires rushed madly to the side of the Array and knelt on the ground.

The Baron who had seen the one opening the Array was in fact of a different Race, not a Prince, instantly turned pale with fright, wanting to take control of his subordinates – but they had already felt the powerful scent of blood and the Ancestor’s presence, and without a title, they simply could not resist such temptation.

Hence, apart from the Baron who had his guards activate the castle’s Array, the rest of the forces all turned into bats and knelt beside the Array, then reverted to human form to kneel around it. As they worshiped, Li Yao immediately felt a vast amount of faith being infused into the Array; the pillar of light instantly expanded, enveloping all the servants.

As time passed, when Wangyu and his group were growing impatient and ready to attack, a buzzing noise suddenly echoed in the sky.

Then, a swarm of fighter jets streaked across the sky, the Fighter Jet Cluster frantically firing at the light pillar and Array – but the explosions merely killed some of the lowest-ranking Blood Servants. Under the protection of the Array, higher-ranking Vampires could rapidly heal from their wounds with the blood light.

Moreover, a multitude of Vampires grew wings like Blood Vampbats and furiously attacked the jets entering the blood light, flashes of light sparkling in the night sky.

“Idiots, idiots, you metal-headed dolts, the Blood Race near the blood feast is invincible! Bombard that hidden castle. Damn it, they’ve built a Vampire Fortress on Lord Malfoy’s territory, these damn stinking vampbats, blast the castle to smithereens.”

With the curse-filled shouts, the fighter jets turned around and began bombing the castle…
