Mistaken Husband After Blindness

The night before their wedding, Si unexpectedly lost her sight. One day, a group of armed soldiers arrived at their modest mountain retreat, claiming to be searching for the assassin who had targeted the eldest son of the Yan family.

Her husband had not returned, and panic-stricken, Si sought refuge in a cabinet.

Suddenly, a clear and resonant voice rang out, like jade falling into a deep pool, uniquely pleasing to the ear: "Haven't found anyone?"

Si recognized it as her husband's voice.
